First Hotel

Almost everything we received was as expected. The room was comfortable and clean, the location was fantastic for ease of airport needs, the staff was courteous. Our only complaint was that one of the reasons we booked this place was because it listed a spa on site. We found it a bit shady that although we were told we would receive a discount for staying at the hotel, that was definitely not the case. When we mentioned that we were staying at the hotel, the 300,000VND listed was "discounted" to 240,000. But then we were told a mandatory tip of 210,000 needed to be added to the price, and then were told the total somehow needed to be 500,000. Not only was this not discounted, this was well over the listed price. I'm not even sure the "mandatory tip" ever went to the person that deserved it. The hotel was fine, but if the "spa" is any part of your the decision making I would not recommend that.

Room was clean and comfortable, but check in was impersonal and whenever you walked through the reception no one spoke with you or acknowledged you. They have 2 buildings and nothing saying which building check-in is at, so we like many went to the newer building but were sent to the older tireder building. We were not explained breakfast times or location or about hotel facilities. I would avoid this hotel and pay more to stay nearer the city centre
