I dont mind the Campanile Hotel in Hull its a little bit grotty thought,the price is good.The £5 increase in price to keetwo dogs there wasnt great followed by the £2-50 charge to put uour car registration in the computer- this used to be free

great location, ok rooms. Sadly let down with the PARKING on site. Parking is privately owned and YOU HAVE TO PAY SEPARATELY . "Fail to pay you will get a hefty fine".

Reliable cheap and centrally located hotel with onsite parking. The parking is now chargeable, but it is a very reasonable rate at the time of this review. They really need to remove the carpets in the rooms, they're awful and obviously not hygienic, laminate flooring would be a much more sensible and cleaner option! Otherwise everything else is reasonable, well maintained, clean and offers all of the basics you would expect.

The place is very basic and thye charge full rates The location is good but the hotel is like a b and b rather than a hotel It’s outdated The mattress liked about 20 yrs old The lights in shower and bedroom were half working The switch for bathroom heater was broken etc It’s ok for a basic stay if you can’t get into travelodge but it’s very basic and shabby You even have to pay for parking on the site at £5 a night which is a bit much when your paying like £50 a night for a poor room

Friendly staff, room was clean and smelt lovely. Asked for the room to be cleaned (we stayed 4 nights, room was cleaned and bedding changed on 3rd day night) wasnt a problem at all.

Got jnto the room. Tv didnt work bathroom lights flickering all night the shower curtin looked like it had been dipped in excrement he mugs had fluff in. The kettle had white bits in it. Looked like lime scale. The lamps and wall lights wree absolutely thick with nicotine. Then went to get into bed pulled the duvet back to find a jumper and tshirt inside the bed. There was multiple black pubic hairs in the bed. It clearly hadnt been changed. So then i had to share the other single bed with my husband. Which wasnt comfortable at all been 4 months pregnant! Never again id rather sleep on the streets than ever return here. Im from up north in county durham and came down for the fair ot actually ruined my trip overall

The set up is that of an american motel so not a hotel set up but more like miniature apartments that all have their own entrance doors which is quite cool. We were facing a main road and even with windows closed its really noisy so I'd recommend earplugs. The room itself was fine! Cant complain at all for the price. The linen was clean. A lot of the room is old and damaged i.e. lampshades, extremely dusty lighting, damaged bath tub etc. but everything did work as it should. Staff were friendly. Good sized carpark with plenty of space. Parking cost £3.60 for up to 24 hours which again I can't fault. It was a really short work to the connexion arena which was ideal for us as we were going to a gig. We only had 1 pillow each and the pillows were very thin so it was a very uncomfortable sleep unfortunately. This place could be great with a bit of money and love put into it but for now you do get what you pay for. I'd probably look to stay elsewhere if I was in Hull in the future but i wouldnt totally write this off if it was much cheaper than other places.

Had a very long check in as the hotel had lost my booking, which wasn't the ideal start, but after going through my emails and showing proof of booking and payment they were eventually able to find it. Staff were friendly and apologetic, so just a stressful start. Rooms small and basic, but everything you'd need for a short stay. Room was very hot overnight, even when opened window in February. Good location for Hull train and bus stations.

The room was adequate but the springs on the bed were poking through! It was unbelievably uncomfortable!! There was hot water on our arrival but only warm to cold on Saturday and Sunday. The properties need a major refurbishment! We won’t be staying again!

No good explanation was given as to the reason i.d. was needed and why it had to be retained. Reception attitude was arrogant.

Room was decent. Check in was smooth and payment procedure for parking was easy. Staff was very helpful, especially Aadil, who promptly attended to fix my heater issue. Location was very convenient and for my it was a short walk to Connexin Live. The big malls are close by. Storage space in the room was good with extra pillows.

The room was clean, and basic. £50.00 per night is great value. What made myself review for the first time after two years were the staff. I would like to pay a special mention to Aadil , Joe and Karen. They made me feel so welcome and provided a service that I would expect from a booking x4 the price .

On arrival the reception staff was rude as I didn't have i.d for my husband which had been discussed with the manager a week before our visit and he had it wasn't an issue. There is also going to be a charge for parking onsite which I do not feel is right considering we have paid to stay there and car park was not secure. Limescale on the bathroom taps but no big deal

Hotel in poor condition. Although cheap rates, it was not a good or enjoyable experience. Which was made worse by some other guest deciding to have a full on row at 3am in the morning, with the man shouting and swearing and the woman screaming and swearing and things being thrown about the room, this unfortunately went on for around 2 hours with no intervention from staff or police. Which I thought was very inconsiderate from the staff as 24 hour security was assured. Also it is advertised as a 12pm checkout and again unfortunately we had a member of the cleaning staff knocking on the door at 9.40 am asking why we hadn’t checked out yet.

Excellent motel right in the city centre. My room was clean and comfortable and everything worked. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Great value for money on a Friday night too, I wish there were more places like this.

l booked it because it looked in a good location but not knowing Hull we found it to be be beside a very busy raod and set of traffic lightsso traffic sceeched stopping and starting. lt was very noisy all night too. Had plenty of hot water for showering but overall was scruffy.

Although the buildings look run down, our room was surprisingly comfortable albeit small and very basic and seems to have been recently redecorated. With blackout curtains and some sort of soundproofing we were not affected by the busy location although we were at the back. Hot water was plentiful and there was a controlled heater if required. Sachets of tea/coffee/milk were limited by willingly topped up on request. There is no restaurant as such but you could order a breakfast panini or a basic pizza later - however there are several places to eat only 10 minutes walk away in the centre of Hull, where there are also numerous excellent museums. Onsite parking is free, which makes the property even better value

It is what it is - a low-priced, U.S-style motel to lay your head. This, plus its excellent location right in the heart of the city centre, were the important points for me. It was very clean and staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Decor and fittings seem to be the originals from when it opened in the 90s (?) and there is currently no drink/food facility at the hotel, but you are only a few mins walk from restaurants and takeaways. There is a large car park attached to the hotel.

great location for city centre, a motel style hotel which needs an update, no chef on hand so no food available while we were there but as i said plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
