awesome amenities, multiple hot tubs and sauna, the women sauna we were near wasn't getting hot but there were other options! Kitchenette rooms were awesome as well, 2 beds and a living area left us for plenty of rooms, will be returning for ski trips!

We haven't been to Jasper since pre-covid. When we got there, we had to wait a bit because our room wasn't ready quite yet, so the manager upgraded us for free to what I think was the biggest suite they had. Full kitchen, dining room and 2 separate bedrooms. It was like an apartment. We really, really appreciated that so much. The pool and hot tubs there are great. We had lots of fun. We will definitely be back to The Tonquin for sure! And it won't be years this time!

There is not enough parking for the number of rooms. Soundproofing isn’t the greatest. Very convenient location, and a very affordable option, nice pool and hot tubs.

Restaurant was closed - I chose this property cause it had a restaurant. TV remote didn’t work well so you had to browse through every channel. Hot tub (inside) & pool were very clean & maintained. Parking - was difficult. No assigned spots & all the pickups were huge & needed more space. I would stay there again - but not my 1st choice!

Staff was friendly, accommodated our request for a ground floor room with an upgrade as that was a room that was ready and ground floor. Towels were so nice a soft as were the bed linens (very comfortable and good quality) Pool area was amazing and the restaurant had great food.

When we arrived for check in, we were upgraded to a king suite with sofa bed, kitchen and fireplace. The room was nice and clean. It seemed renovated, and was nicely done. The swimming pool, hot tub jacuzzi, and sauna were a plus! Quite big compared to other swimming pool hotels we’ve been to. The staff were all nice and friendly. Thank you Tonquin Inn for making our stay special!

Excellent cleaning quality in our room - I was very impressed (kudos to the housekeeper who cleaned it before we check in). Almost everything we need is already there especially the iron and its board. We loved the hot tub and the heated pool as well, perfect for the chilling weather outside. The location is also very good, very walkable to the shops and restaurants. The price that we paid is very worth it. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were clean but smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. As someone who is sensitive to that I would choose a different location to stay. Dated. Priced very high for the quality of stay.

Great location. Room generally not clean, especially carpeting in and around the beds and dressers. Significant dust. Room needs a thorough cleanup. Mattress very firm, some may like this but not for me.

My sister and I stayed at the Tonquin for a ski weekend at Marmot, and it had been quite a while since my last visit. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Because the hotel is an older building, the walls are quite thin, so I’d recommend bringing earplugs—especially if you’re staying during a busy weekend. It may have been louder than usual during our stay because there was a minor hockey tournament in town. Our room was also extremely warm the first night, even though the heat wasn’t on. The next day, we opened a window, which helped bring the temperature down to a more comfortable level. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few quirks to be aware of!

The hotel is older but well maintained. The room was clean but VERY crowded. A king size bed in a queen size room. If you want a MW, you need to request it. The worst was there was no top sheet on the bed. Finding a plugin to use was difficult. It was a very dark room. Better lighting was needed.

The location is very convenient at the center of Jasper Town with shopping, eating and gas station easily accessible. The staff is friendly and approachable. Room is spacious and clean with kitchen and utensils. Mattress is comfortable, WiFi signal is the strongest among all my stays in this Banff trip!

Room had everything we needed, bathroom could be updated. Close to everything in town, 2 outdoor hot tubs & sauna (women's didn't really warm up too much unfortunately). Very squeaky floors & can hear people walking around beside you. Comfy beds & mountain views were nice.

Rooms are very small , very noisy and there is no ventilation whatsoever. You have heat option but the AC or fan don't work in winter so even if the heat is off , the room is too warm because of heat in rooms below.. So have to keep the door open with the door latch on all night. This hotel needs renovations.

Check in was slow. The bedroom had a very small window that opened to a busy stairwell. No AC in the bedroom, no air flow. No flat sheet. Only a heavy duvet. The staff did not care about the feedback. I would never stay there again nor recommend this property.

We were happy to have been able to check in earlier. Due to our room was ready when we arrived. The Staff were extremely friendly, courtiouse and accomodating. We loved having had a welcoming card, dog treats, dog bed,food and water bowl setout in the room for our dog.

After 4 weeks my bond has not been released. Everybody should make sure that their bond is released. I'm only getting standard replies saying hotel NEVER makes a mistake the staff are robots never make a mistake 😠 What a hassle with the bank who says Hotel has to release?

We had an amazing stay at Tonquin Inn during our recent stay in Jasper. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded to a residential suite, which made our stay even more comfortable. Recently stayed at the Tonquin Inn for a weekend trip to Jasper. The location is excellent - just a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants while still being quiet. My room was clean and comfortable with all the basics I needed (fridge, coffee maker, AC). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked well throughout my stay. While the decor is a bit dated, everything was well-maintained and functional; though the curtains could probably do with a bit more size (better privacy). The bed was surprisingly comfortable! Parking was free which is always a plus. For the price (reasonable by Jasper standards), it was a good value. Would recommend for those wanting a convenient base for exploring Jasper National Park without spending a fortune. Not luxury, but comfortable and practical. Would stay again next time I'm in Jasper.

Lost our payment details. Demand to see our bank records then still didn’t believe us. Kept us waiting for over an hour before we suggested that we get our 4rooms while they go through their back statements. A few hours they called us in to say they found the payment. Not an apology in sight.

The property is over priced, however everything within the Rockies is over priced. Food in restaurant was good. The best of the property was the indoor pool and hot tub. They were super clean, very pristine and in excellent condition. We were impressed with that!

Our stay was pretty good. My only qualms were the size of our room with a king size bed and the inn itself could use a little bit of updating. Overall, however, we enjoyed the multiple hot tubs and the fact they're open until 10 pm - perfect after a long day of hiking. The restaurant on the premise was also delicious.
