No pool available, under construction. Left room at 8:00AM and still had not been serviced when we arrived back at 4:30PM. We finally had to request service. Housekeeping apologized and said they were understaffed. We experienced the same thing at breakfast the next morning, observing a very busy waitress and never received a second cup of coffee. The entire facility had a somewhat tired appearance in need of renovation. It was definitely not worth the prices charged.

Main lodge under renovations at this time. Would still highly recommend visiting as we got Exceptional service, room and relaxing atmosphere. Incredible views, enjoyed the heated outdoor pool & hottub. Loved the Planetarium.

Very wonderful but expensive dining! There are multiple restaurants which is so nice! You can also access the outdoor pool & hot tub anytime until 10pm plus you have access to the spa change rooms which included saunas and steam rooms. Everyone was so kind and always asking if you need anything. Someone was almost always there to open the door and welcome you into the lodge!

It was amazing to be surrounded by beautiful mountains and a gorgeous lake. We loved the pool and hot tub area. The spa was so relaxing and professional. Although the room was clean and nice, the walls were thin and we could hear all conversations and noises happening in the rooms beside us.

At check in we were shown on a map where our room was and where parking was. It took 40 minutes in the -26 weather to park and walk around trying to find our room. Our first room was very far from the main lodge making going to the pool not so easy. The tile floor was ridiculously cold in the bathroom and entrance. Although the bathroom was brand new it was the smallest I have ever seen, you could barely get in to get the door closed. The fridge was on the lowest setting and still froze everything we put in it. For the 3rd night we moved to the main lodge which was great compared to the last 2. The bathroom was twice the size of the first one and going to the pool and the lounge was so much easier. Valet staff were absolutely amazing (which came with staying in the main lodge). The pool should be a little warmer in the winter (hot tub was so busy we couldn’t get in). Also, not sure who their cable provider is but what is listed on the “guide” is not always what’s actually on. Although we have stayed numerous times before this weekend, we will probably not be back for that price.

We got our room upgraded for free. The interior was great and pool was very clean. The pool is heated but I wish it would be a little warmer. However, there was a hot tub available. Very pleasant stay overall. The receptionist and concierge were very helpful and nice.

This is more than a hotel stay, its an experience! We had a great stay. The activities were fantastic, there was always something to do. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was clean, and spacious.

The property and grounds are gorgeous! Our room was lovely. The bed and linens were very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the fans helped keep us cool! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back to the Fairmont when we return to Jasper!

Do not recommend - We paid over $500, for 2 beds for 1 night. The first room was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. We complained and were given an "upgrade" which was the same room, just a little larger. People go to the Fairmont expecting greatness..... we did not get greatness, we got mediocre at best. On top of that, when we complained, they denied our complaint and said there was nothing they could do. There are much nicer places to stay in Jasper than this; save your money, and stay somewhere else!

Showed up to our room there was pee on the seat a contact lenses wrapper in the floor dog prints on the chair dirty sticky glass marks in the table rotten fruit in bowl on table dirty pillow case room is super outdated banged up and we were told it was a high end room because we got a lake view suite. Called a manager they told us they would come and clean so we went to the lounge for dinner until bed time got back and nothing had been cleaned in our room would not stay here again over priced for a very run down filthy room

The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we drove up. The concierge agent was also very welcoming. The room was beautiful and clean with a terrific view of the lake in winter. As it was a special occasion, there was a delicious piece of birthday cake waiting for me in the room. Special touches like that make a guest feel special and it was much appreciated.

Beautiful location with easy access to many of the Jasper national park features. Lake views from rooms are spectacular. Staff was friendly and helpful - special shout out to the concierge and valet for recommendations for snowshoeing in the area. Room was comfortable and housekeeping promptly provided additional duvet and blanket. Cleaning staff could use more training - coffee pod replenishment not consistent day to day, trash was emptied only once in four days despite stay over service. Dead flies in overhead fixtures and dust accumulated on louver doors separating sitting area from sleeping area.

No air conditioning in room. They had 3 oscillating fans. Had to open both doors and windows when we arrived. It took until 10 pm to cool the room down enough to shut the doors. The main lodge also had no air conditioning. They said their power grid did not support air conditioning for the whole resort

Really overpriced. Paid $1,200 for a deluxe room with mountain view. The view was nice. But for that price was expecting more space and maybe some newer furniture. There is no AC, the room was very hot at night even with the windows open and 2 standing fans going. The furniture on the balcony wasn’t really comfortable either, it kinda seemed like cheap chairs from Canadian Tire. The grounds and view is really nice, but I can get a hotel in Canmore or Banff that is literally the same for a quarter of the price.

Dinner was phenomenal at the Nook. Our room was 85 degrees and had no AC. Even opening the windows and doors and using the ceiling fan and standing fan provided it was too hot to sleep. Miserable!

Don’t be fooled by the initial pictures. The lodge is beautiful, but the rooms are cabins far away. Also, the heat is stuck on and it was 78 degrees in the room despite being pleasant outside.

Location naturally being immersed in nature is stunning but we had to move twice due to noise. The room upstairs was so loud, I think it was surprising for a fairmont. The hotel offered to move us for the second night and this end up facilitating a good night’s sleep. We were woken up on the second night by an alarm of a neighbour or room going off for 30 minutes and the cleaners attending the adjacent rooms. Surprising noise but the food, property, cocktails and location to utilise for sports are phenomenal.

Our unit didn’t have air conditioning. The room was 26 degrees Celsius. By leaving doors and windows open, the temperature dropped to 25degrees. Supposedly, they’re beginning to renovate some of the rooms and when they do, air conditioning will be installed.

The rooms were not ready at check-in (4:35pm) and the manager could see the receptionist struggle and he proceeded to support four other families checking in instead of supporting her and our check-in to three rooms. The receptionist told us that she was happy to offer us other rooms at a cost which felt unreasonable. We had just come from the Fairmont Banff that offers stunning rooms, vistas and value. My daughter was disappointed in that the stables were closed and renting bikes was very expensive. We were told multiple times that they would appreciate our patience since they were restarting from the fires but it felt like it was a one way street. I would recommend day tripping and staying in Banff or perhaps a different hotel.

Deceitful Staff. I inadvertently left a brand new North Face jacket in our room closet to dry. Within about 90 minutes of my departure from the hotel while driving to Banff on the Icefields Parkway, I realized the issue, called Fairmont Jasper and was told by Housekeeping management that it had not been found, and no employee would have taken it. This insinuated that I was not being truthful. Very disappointed in Fairmont management. There is no other plausible scenario than an employee stealing my jacket.

Amazing property with exceptional customer service!! Jacob and Elle at The Boathouse- wow so kind and helpful!! Saphira (sp? Apologies) at the lodge for drinks and appetizers. Everything about our stay was incredible. We woke up and had coffee at Mildred Lake and it was gorgeous. We water-biked, rented e-bikes two days in a row into Jasper (and beyond) and overall just loved how accessible everything was.Would return in a heartbeat.

The JPL is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. However be aware they are undergoing renovations and the main lodge is closed. I was not aware of this when booking our recent stay. Due to the renos there is only one dining option available (located in the golf clubhouse) from Sunday to Wednesday, with a second restaurant open Thurs - Sat only. We had also booked another two night stay during the Christmas break (and paid an insanely expensive rate) and after realizing the limited options and that the emerald lounge is closed (our favourite spot) I tried to cancel. After dealing with both Expedia and the Jasper park lodge I was told that my request had been denied, and that if I wanted to cancel I would lose my deposit of one night’s stay. Very frustrating that they are not offering better customer service and choosing to waive the cancellation fee, especially when undergoing renovations and not being able to offer the same experience to their guests. Just wanting to let people know this before booking your next stay. Buyer beware!!

It took 30 minutes to check in at Front Desk, line up was 20 people deep and only one person at the check-in counter. The room wasn't ready (at 5:30) had to wait 20 minutes for them to finish cleaning.

JPL is a great property with much to do. Service was friendly and often exceptional. The special family activities for spring break/Easter were much appreciated. We stayed in a renovated room which was great. There were limited dining options on site for people with dietary restrictions. However, Jasper town is only a short drive away.

This hotel is not worth the cost. Our room was a standard motel room. It was small, which can be ok for our 3 person family, but it was not what I expected for the price. The door hit the bed when you opened it. The room was not well organized to maximize the size; for example there were no hooks to hang jackets, not enough plugs, one hook in the bathroom and a small vanity that didn’t have enough counter space. The air conditioner was a stand alone unit with ductwork venting out the window which took up more space in the room. That being said it was clean and it is a gorgeous location. I’ll note that it is not walkable to downtown / restaurants / shops if that’s important to you. Perhaps the value is in the property, but we spent 10 - 12 hours a day out and about in the park and wanted a nice, comfortable room to relax at the end of the day. This was not it.

We love the Fairmont Lodge in Jasper and have stayed there many times. It is more rustic than the Fairmont in Lake Louise and Banff which we like. The lodge is awesome and there are a broad variety of rook types. There is lots of wildlife in around the property. We highly recommend this Fairmont and are glad it survived the 2024 fire.

This is such a lovely property right in the national park. The lodge has a lot of history. It is situated on the most stunning lake. The lodge is spacious & majestic with lots of space to explore, multiple dining options & many activities. It is an historic hotel, therefore the rooms are a little dated. They could definitely be modernized, but they served their purpose. However, we really enjoyed our stay. We had dinner at Orso, Oka Sushi & The Nook. All delicious. Staff is attentive. The location & amenities made it very enjoyable stay. We recommend this place.

Perfect place to relax. Property is well maintained and is right on a lake where you can see wildlife (we saw two foxes). Also, there are plenty of activities to do such as horse riding, canoe rentals, bicycle rentals, and trails to explore. Also, located near the Lake Maligne road which is another popular spot for wildlife viewing. Loved the property overall.

Like all Fairmont Properties, the facilities and the location was excellent. The cost of food in the Jasper {Park Lodge is quite out of line with reality. Most resorts offer breakfast with the room rate - the buffet was $42 for breakfast - way too expensive as were the charges for the evening meals in the Grand Hall. Waitress first morning was somewhat slow and the waiter the next morning charged me an extra charge for a refill of coffee but the hostess cancelled that. Staff waiting on tables on both evenings were excellent - it is just the price that is out of line for what one receives but that is true in every Fairmont Location that I have stayed at. The room was fine and the cleaning lady provided me with an extra box of kleenex for my head cold. Beautiful location indeed.

The Italian restaurant was amazing! Superb food and service. Also the room service for breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the dinner at the Nook was not great. The overall stay at the Jasper Park Lodge was very enjoyable

There was no air in most of the rooms… at 800$ a night, this was disturbing. We were compensated with complementary breakfast daily which was DELICIOUS, and 100$ CA a day for whatever. The restaurants were quite expensive, but good. You do need reservations. This lodge was in a great location for many hikes!

Pros: Beautiful scenery despite the fire devastation. The area around the lake is beautiful and the facilities have a rustic feel. The pool area is very nice. Cons: The rooms are outdated and need refurbishment. The main dining area has limited options and the food quality was not up to the Fairmont standard. Our meal was not great but it came with premium pricing. We had friends join us from the UK and they were also disappointed with the meal.

Extraordinary historic lodge. The staff were helpful and friendly. The amenities were top notch. We were upgraded to a spacious, private cabin. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the lake (very cold!) and pool. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary. An experience we will remember!

Dinner was terrible sweet potato fries were cold, plates were ice cold, chicken was room temperature and served on a bun with no garnich however the martini was perfect We will eat in town from now on
