No elevator and no air conditioning. Rooms are small and small windows for ventilation.

When i booked it i didn’t realise that there was no lift, with 3 big luggages was hard to bring it up. Daily struggle just to walk back to our room as it was on the top floor. The price was reasonable consider it was located near central London, others is just too expensive! Because the room on the top was so hot in the afternoon and the room only had a small fan. So we had to opened the window all night, some night cant sleep coz its too hot. We stayed in early May 20205. The good thing that the place is near Hammersmith station, very convenient. Lots of shops and restaurants, starbuck, pharmacy, etc. Next time ill make sure we booked hotel with lift, this is not a hotel for us. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A good property in a lovely area. Ideal for taking the tube into London. Custom service was excellent. The room was clean and while small by American standards it was nice. No air conditioning, but windows open and a fan is provided.

Very clean. Very convenient for local transport. Lots of places nearby to eat. Upper floors have very steep, narrow stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

I am dealing with a temporary injury limiting mobility. ( I am not accustomed to needing to verify disability access and amenities at hotels .) This hotel is challenging from that perspective with no lift , and multiple rather narrow stairs to access guest rooms Otherwise clean, helpful staff and great neighborhood

Nice, very clean room and bathroom. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access with the underground. Lovely with the biscuits, tea and coffee in the the room and nice with the Small refrigerator.

George and Allie (sp?) at the reception desk were very kind and gracious with providing information. The hotel is in a fantastic location - close to dining, shopping and transportation. We knew nothing about the London Tube stations and were very happy to learn that the Hammersmith station has service with both the Picadilly and District lines. The Hammersmith station is only about 1.5 blocks from the hotel. I rated our experience as 4 stars because the bathroom is very small (but very clean) and the automatic lights would go out while we were in the shower. The room would be uncomfortable if the weather is hot because there is no A/C, but there is a room fan. Because it is a restored older building, the stairway is very narrow and there is no elevator. We knew this was not a 4 star hotel when we booked it and had read other reviews about these limitations so we were not disappointed, but I am just letting others know what to expect. Overall, it was a great experience and we would most likely stay here again.

Allie and George at the reception desk were very helpful and informative. They gave us travel tips and offered to store our luggage while we explored. We knew this was not a 4-star hotel and is an older building and so were not shocked that there was no elevator or A/C. If you have mobility issues, be aware that the stairs are steep and narrow. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very small - smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. The bathroom light is operated by a motion sensor and would not stay lit while taking a quick shower. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. It was about 2 blocks from the Hammersmith Tube station. The Picadilly, District and CIrcle lines go here so it was very easy to go anywhere we wanted. We would very likely stay here again as long as we can continue to navigate the stairs. Lovely location.

Very clean property, comfortable bed and the fridge in the room are the highlights. Very kind and friendly staff, great location. Towels had a nice smell, bathroom was nice and warm.

I had a very comfortable stay at the Adria hotel, only 5/10 minute stroll from Hammersmith station and easy to find. The room was up 2 flights of stairs,so not good for some, small but as a single traveller was ample space and very clean. The comfiest bed ive ever had in a hotel, lovely! Very friendly and helpful father and daughter who run the buisness, wouldn't hesitate to stay again, thank you.

Okay apart from terrible smell like cat pee in the bathroom. Someone was smoking in another room and smell drifted into my room .

We had stayed at the Adria hotel July 20th for one night. When we woke up we saw bugs all over our beds. A week later my friends and I all noticed bites all over our hands, neck, legs, and back and have been having adverse reactions since!

We really liked our stay at this hotel. We felt safe, it was clean and very practical. It is few minutes from the tube which give access to four lines. It is very easy to travel to all the nice places of London. The Hammersmith area is simply great… outside of the tourist area, nice places to eat at an affordable fee. I recommend this place.

Found the Adria to be a great location for exploring London. Close to the Hammersmith Tube Station. Stayed in the Family room. Not large. But sufficient for our family of 4 adults. Was clean and comfortable.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Upon arrival, I expected the usual greetings and a bit of small talk to make me feel comfortable, but instead, Theodore's, idea of small talk was to make me feel like a criminal, " we've had people with your name try to scam us" and wanting to take a photo of the credit card I used to book the room, on his grotty personal phone. His wife or sister appeared and was equally rude. Zero warmth or hospitality and an underlying feeling of hostility. Think I'm exaggerating, go there and ask for Theodore! Room sucked and like other people have commented, bugs. Will speak to Hotels.com to see if they can remove this hotel from their listing until Theodore undergoes training in the following areas: communication customer service small talk

I was made to feel very welcomed! My suitcase was carried down the stairs for me! Very comfortable room.

Nice hotel. Very affordable with comfy basic double room, which is all we wanted. A handy place for us to stay while attending an event at the Eventim Apollo as its just an 8 minute walk away. Very close to the underground and bus links and plenty of shops and restaurants close by with many staying open till late. The hotel is on a busy road so some might not like the extra traffic noise, but it didn't bother. Only gripe was bed was a bit too hard for my liking but the room had a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom even had a heated floor. The guy who met us on arrival was very social and checked us in quickly. Far more pros than cons. Would stay again.

The beds were a bit wobbly but, for the price you can't complain. We booked months in advance so did not know there would be a heat wave. The room was boiling all night. The fan worked but was noisy. Again, not a complaint, just worth considering when booking.

A perfect hotel if you want a quiet nights sleep as its just out of the city noise, but within easy reach of everything with two tubes a few minutes away. Great area with places to eat and pubs. The owner was extremely helpful with everything needed. The room was clean and just the right size. The room had everything you could need. An iron/ironing board, tea/coffee making, hairdryer, fridge, safe. Very comfy bed and tv with netflix etc. Although no breakfast is served, you can get a bite to eat around the area. I will definitely consider stopping here again next time i visit london.

Rooms were clean & big. Facilities & Staff were also good. Close to train station and all shops near by in walking distance. Over all was good for 1 night only negative are the mattresss were not good condition

I had a small double room on the top floor with a lovely view out back over terraced houses. Very quiet. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a short walk to Hammersmith Underground station with District and Piccadilly Lines. I love staying a bit out of the centre and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the room decor was a bit dated but not offensive. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located for Hammersmith Centre and The Apollo. Very friendly and welcoming check-in, with helpful advice given for getting to the Apollo, the reason for my stay. Room was small and basic, but spotlessly clean and with enough facilities for a short stay. Felt a little expensive with no breakfast offered, but I think the price is probably competitive for a central location near to local amenities, and based on all the positives I would stay again and recommend this hotel. The only negative (which is probably more of an issue created by Expedia than the hotel) is that I had to provide all my details at check-in and was asked for ID which in my experience is unusual when booking via an online account. Although not a huge problem, I don’t believe that these requirements are made clear enough during the booking process so that guests can make sure they can comply. That said the person who greeted me on arrival was great.

The staff were incredibly lovely and kind, giving advice about the area and nearest places to eat/shop and travel. Bed were very comfortable and the area was quiet so we had a great nights sleep. Check in/check out was made very easy by all staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be staying at the Adria again when we come to London.

We had a great stay and would definitely stay again! Anna greeted us at check in and was so kind. We were very early for check in but she expedited getting our rooms ready so we could get in after a long journey. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet! Beds were very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints!

Fabulous stay! Smaller room so clean , people friendly and welcoming. 2 min walk to tube - and it’s a nice neighborhood. It was perfect location easy to get where we wanted to go and we were always welcomed when we came home at night . George ( owner) is funny , and has loads of interesting stories! Loved the Nirvana one! Ally is a gem - a true gem so helpful so sweet . I highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff member we met on arrival was so friendly and helpful, we really appreciated the warm welcome. When we tried to check out in the morning, we waited for ages, couldn't find anyone, and then got treated like an inconvenience.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Nice room for 4 people. Clean and well,located hotel. The front desk person went out of her way to help us get into our room early and called us on our cell phone when the room was ready ahead of schedule. Nice touch.

Room clean and tidy. Comfy bed. No food or snacks of any sort. But the main issue was that it was booked to be paid on arrival, but the money was taken 2 DAYS BEFORE.

Perfect location for where I was going. Also would be great location to explore London

This hotel is so close to Hammersmith station and just a short walk from the Thames. There is a bus stop a 30 seconds walk from the hotel. We felt very safe in the area.

The hotel was nice. It work for our stay in London. Close to Hammersmith Tube Station with easy access into the city center. There was a slight odor in the room when we arrived, like wet but after we aired the room out the first day it was not noticeable. The staff was very helpful and the beds were comfortable.

Recommended for business travelers especially. It’s 7 minutes’ easy walk (with small suitcase) from Hammersmith tube station, just listen to the staff directions re: the 2 Hammersmith entrances! One entrance (Piccadilly line) can take you straight to Heathrow Terminal 2&3 in 30 minutes; it’s the one with lots of shops like Tescos and Greggs just inside. Hotel room with twin beds have a mini fridge - so useful! Just know it’s small stairs (no huge cases)

We loved staying here, it was perfect as a launch pad into London itself. Numerous dining options to choose from within a short stroll. We found the area quiet and peaceful. Lovely family owned property with staff only to eager to help with anything.

I spent couple nights with my family (2+2), we really enjoyed the time at the facility, all was clean, updated and people was kind. Location is great, five minutes walking to underground and many other places like restaurants close by. I’ll definitely book in again if returning to London.

What a wonderful place to stay and area to stay in! I did not want to stay in a holiday inn so we picked this quaint place with character. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. Our room was up 3 floors and there is no elevator. If you have mobility issues I would definitely ask for a room on a lower floor. I loved our top floor room. There's a skylight in the bathroom giving natural light. The shower had amazing pressure. There's a desk with a big mirror in the main room to do makeup. A hair dryer is in the room. We had a full bed and twin, the twin was in an alcove which gave my daughter privacy to chat with her friends when I went to bed. There are outlets everywhere with USB ports to plug your charger in. This was so convenient. There is tea, sugar, milk, instant coffee and a couple pairs of cookies for your mornings and a mini fridge. The window opens for fresh air. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood 2 blocks from the start of a shopping area. We walked to the mall, Primark, Starbucks, super drug, Boots, a Laundromat, several restaurants and pubs. The underground was a 6 minute walk -Hammersmith station, and is one of the stops on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow. Saving much money if you are budget conscious and know at least a little about a subway system. Having the subway so close made it easier to get to the middle of London and all the sights. It was perfect!
