Welcomed with a glass of wine and cookie on check in and a complimentary upgrade. Really friendly staff and the room was lovely. The hotel is a great location for the Tower of London and the views from the Savage Garden bar are great. Only downside was children under 18 are not allowed in the Savage Garden bar after 6pm, and the music played until 2am which was slightly audible from our room, but it didn’t impact on our overall experience. Room service for breakfast was great, on time, and the food was hot when received. Taxi’s were also available and waiting outside the hotel consistently which was great. Really lovely experience and would definitely book again.

Stayed at this hotel for a special occasion (engagement) after paying over 200 pound for the night was very disappointed the room we booked was not how it was described on the pictures and info very small basic considering they state this type of room as queen room also central heating did not work so very cold got stuck in the lift for 10 mins pressed the emergency bell and got no response. We then finally got out notified staff and they did not seem to care woke up the next morning to go down for breakfast and got told this was not included even though we had paid a lot of money for the night overall prices were very high 10 pound for a slice of toast overall experience was not as it was advertised rooms were nothing as they were in the pictures 40 pound to park the car and then got stuck in car park for 25 mins befor someone actually let us out medication bottles in the car park not a pleasant site will not be returning and fighting for a refund

Our first night the music from The Savage Gatden bar on 12 th floor music kept us awake until after 2 am. We were on the 5th floor. The base just thumped. Not so bad 2nd and 3rd night. Not sure if they turned down as I mentioned it in morning. Breakfast had lots of choices. Good location to London Tower and Bridge and underground transportation

Gym is not very good. Hotel gyms seldom are but of three ellipticals one was not connected to any power, one was out of order and the other needed a serious service ( as did one of the three treadmills

Everything was excellent, except the fact that we chose that hotel for location and the fact they had a rooftop bar. However, the rooftop bar was closed to guests on two of the nights of our stay due to private parties that had reserved the entire rooftop. Since that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, we we’re disappointed in the fact that we couldn’t go to the rooftop on two of our nights.

Overnight stay to attend a dinner nearby. Accommodation entirely satisfactory albeit a little dated. Minor criticism is for reception staff to remind guests of the need to check their room card against the reader below the floor level selection panel. We got into the lift, selected the 5th floor and the lift set off, passed the 5th floor and stopped at the 10th floor with the door firmly closed. We were stuck and nothing we did would make it move or the doors open. It was only as I got my glasses out to ring for attention, that I noticed the small sign low down below the selection panel instructing guests to place their room card key against the card reader!

I arrived by car. The parking option is terrible. Preferably, you arrive, you get your access key and use that to enter and exit. But that's not the case here. You have to access a terrible 3rd party website and deal with it online. You then need access to that website to lock and unlock the parking. The problem is that you often do not get internet connection in the parking, so you can't access that site, which means you get stuck. You think you opened that door, but because you have no connection, it's closed. In my case, I was stuck at the ramp in a very dangerous way and had to exit my car in that dangerous position to go to the lobby upstairs and get some security staff to get me out. What kind of silly system is this? Absolutely embarrassing that Hilton with this amount of experience is so bad at organizing a simple parking option! You can have a nice breakfast with fluffy eggs, but if you don't get the basics right, you deserve not more than 1 star.

Overall the stay was good. The halls look run down but I think they’re doing remodels. The elevator never seemed to accept key cards unless there were multiple tries. Many people got stuck in the elevator. Area of London was quiet with the tube station in a very easy walking distance.

Great location and smart hotel. The problem was the rooftop bar with a Tower Bridge view, the reason we booked the hotel, was closed for a private event. According to other reviews I've seen this happens often. It was such a disappointment and it would have been nice if the hotel could have done something nice to make up for it. Maybe a complimentary drink at the other bar? We also booked a twin room and they gave us a double. When we asked if we could have a room with twin beds, the staff dealing with it made it seem like we were being difficult by asking for what we booked. I had to say it a few times before they agreed. Other than that all staff were friendly and the beds were super comfy. Bathroom was fine. Real shame about the hiccups.

The conditions of floor 3 were horrible. The rug were with stain they smell like fungos. I will never choose a double tree again. I have pictures of the condition. The chair in the room with stains the sheets too. The worst hotel I stayed in my life and I pay $400 per night.

I booked a room for my daughter’s birthday for her and her friend. The girls were horrified to find blood on the sheets which had clearly not been changed. In addition, staff were extremely rude, doubting the age on my daughter’s friend’s identification and accusing her of falsifying it! I sent two emails to the hotel the same night and have had no response. My husband also called and was promised a resolution to this but, to date, nothing. This is not what I expect from any hotel, far less Hilton. This completely ruined my daughter’s evening and her 18th birthday! Not what I expected and NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Room down graded from floor 9 to 5.. mistake they made with family room… we stayed in a disabled room…where the cups, floor and wall were dirty the kettle was dangerously broken the shower was broken the bed was broke, the lights didn’t work.. no privacy had to stay with curtain shut. Even tho staff were pleasant no one helped no even to help us move floor with were there mistake. Nothing given for the downgrade… said they would look into it and then disappeared 3 staff we took our complaints to and on phone till 10.30 pm given things fixed for pur room

The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. The hotel is walkable to many tourist locations and very convenient for using the trains. I did have a problem which caused me to switch rooms. There is very loud construction on the 7th floor which made the noise in my 6th floor room unbearable. The staff was very accommodating and switched my room to the 4th floor in about an hour.

Not offered Prosecco at check-in. Other customers were. Room was shabby in parts despite being a refurbished room. No hanging space for dresses. Executive Lounge was poor. Large periods of day with NO food. Not even a biscuit. No hot food in evening canapé offering. Same food offered every day. Would NOT stay again.

Our stay was good overall. We had an issue with the a/c. The staff tried their best to fix the issue right away but could not fix it till the next morning but they brought a fan quickly and complementary cold drinks to try to mitigate the issue. All staff were friendly but competency was hit and miss.

The room was adequate, it was facing inside onto the atrium so a little darker and compact but had all the facilities such as tea making and a fridge. Everything was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a downside as the hotel has a roof garden which is open until 2am Friday and Saturday. The noise from the bar was very loud and I struggled to sleep the first night. Interestingly at check-in she mentioned we had a nice quiet room! Quiet it was not!

Had a great stay for one night during a recent business trip. Hashi at the front desk took great care of me upon check in and managed to find me an early check in at 11am. Breakfast was solid. At one point I had gotten up to grab some more food and one of the servers had accidentally cleared my table. That happens but more impressive was that by the time I came back she realized I was still eating and immediately replaced everything I had on the table (coffee, butter, jam, etc) exactly as I had left it. Was impressed by the extra attention to detail.

Worst part was a member of housekeeping asking us to leave at 10:20AM because it was “time” but the real check out time is 12:00PM. In the email it was 12:00PM. I even called reception to confirm and they did say it was 12. It was just so unpleasant. Also, the concierge on the night of 9th of May at around 11:30pm was also very rude. I politely asked a simple question and she was talking down on me lecturing about how things worked in the UK, Oh my God. I live in the UK too and I know how things work, and I am a professional. She wasn’t even British! Perhaps, it reflects poor staff training? Or it could have just been the color of my skin (brown), but hey-ho.

Booked bed and breakfast. Hotel confirmed same at check in. Did fast check out and they then charged my debit card for breakfast and also drinks in the roof bar which we did not have (we did not even visit the bar). I phoned the hotel to resolve and they told me to send email. Two mails sent and no reply or resolution. Not good enough!

Check in was great - it was quick and easy, they gave us some cookies which was a much welcomed little treat after our journey. Our room was neat and clean. Breakfast variety was adequate to good - coffee served was cold. There was no one to seat us when we arrived so we sat ourselves down on a dirty table and waved for help to get the table cleaned up. The waiters/servers pushed passed me during the breakfast service which was a little shocking. A little too brisk for my liking. Before leaving for the day I requested that water and toilet paper be refilled in the room at the front desk on our way out, but they only replaced the toilet paper and I had to call to ask for water again when we got back. The hotel is in a good location just a two minute walk from the Tower of London, it is on a quiet street in the city. It is clean, but from a service point of view I am not sure I’d stay here again.

I chose this hotel as it included breakfast. This was not recorded on the booking. The staff added this after as an extra charge. The hotel is lovely. Unfortunately on check in the corridor on 2nd floor was very messy. This was tidied shortly after.

Clean and friendly staff. Hotel is just a 5 minutes walk to the Tower of London. Easy transportation, cabs in front of hotel and Liverpool Station is just a minute away. Easy walk as well going to Leadenhall Market and Spitalfields Market. Borough Market is walking distance too.

We were allowed to check in 3-4 hrs before the stated check in time, which was really helpful as we could leave our luggage there. The breakfast was superb, more variety than most hotels we have stayed in and the service was brilliant.

I have reserved the connecting rooms, however the hotel provided us the "Sweet room". The probrem is this "Sweet room"is smaller room than we have reserved. so, I have negotiated more than 1 hour to change room. The breakfast menu is same for 4 days. I will book other hotel when I visit the London next time.

Good location for the Tower of London and the river Thames. Rooms are small and expensive but you are in the center of London. Average breakfast buffet except for the scrambled eggs which I found too runny. Good breakfast staff made seating when crowded easy. Not as many good walkable restaurants as I expected.
