Clean, friendly staff, really nice room, but the car park not to great. You need to book ahead because it’s only 4-5 spaces but it’s very very narrow. If you don’t have a small car , don’t park there. You can find a car parking near if your car it’s to big. Except for the car park it’s a nice place to stay and close to Edinburgh castle and museums. 😄

The quality of the place exceeded my expectations - boutique aparthotel, arranged with great taste, immaculately clean. Everything was werking well - air con can be adjusted to any temperature you want, there are kitchen appliancec in the room: WM, DW, fridge, and even the tumble dryer, plus iron and ironing board. There is a gym at the lower grand floor - small, but all machines are new, and working well. Book with confidence-you wont be dissapointed!

Hospitality throughout our stay was second to none. 1 bedroom apartment was fairly big and well equipped with hob, kettle, convection oven/microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. TV in both lounge and bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Advised of no daily turndown service when we arrived but that if we needed anything to simply ask. Nature of aparthotels. The TV in bedroom wasn’t a smart TV (so viewing options were limited) and there wasn’t a freezer or icebox compartment in the room from what we could see, but I’m sure the bar downstairs would have provided an ice bucket had we asked. Hotel bar was reasonably priced but drinks selection was limited. Reception / lounge area was comfortable. Keycard required to access hotel after 10pm and front desk is staffed 24/7 which was reassuring. Hotel is situated on a busy road (traffic wise) but the room was pretty well insulated from the noise. No disturbance at night. Location was absolutely perfect for us to be able to walk through the incredible Moray estate up to Stockbridge; equally down to the old town and castle. Absolutely no complaints.

Lovely property in a great location. Room very well appointed with great facilities, especially the kitchen area. Only one chair in room, two would have been better just for eating, rather than sitting on bed. Bathroom lacked hooks or surfaces to place things like toiletry bag. Also only half a toilet roll provided, sure this as just an oversight. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Enough cupboard/shelving space for clothing. We parked in basement car park which was very tight to get into but it was secure and spaces were wide/deep enough for my large car. Overall a lovely accommodation in a great location.

The only good thing about the hotel is its location and staff. The hotel does not have safe car park to unload the luggage. It has outside stairs and no ramp that made us carry our heavy bags upstairs to the reception. The car park is far about 10 minutes walk. The hotel has small parking not suitable for vans. The outside noise, especially the seagulls was very annoying which we couldn’t sleep well during our six nights stay. The faucet tub does not drain well. It was bad experience.

We stayed in a one bedroom and it was really convenient as there is a small kitchen with washing machine and dryer in the room. Great for short or long stay. Just that the hotel is along a main road and parking is hard to come by. Do book parking onsite early if you need parking. On street parking is expensive when on meter. Nearby street parking is free from 6:30pm-8:30am most days and it is only across the street from the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is within walking distance to the central shopping district with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Great, centrally located hotel. Has a tight underground parking garage if you request a space ahead of time but you must have a tiny car. Valerie was amazing at check-in, helped with storing bags before checkin time and giving great suggestions to visit in the city!

We stayed in a lovely one bedroom apartment that had everything we could need and more. Overall they were nice enough, and we would consider returning, but first impressions were of a bathroom sink that did not drain, water damage to the wall near the shower which made it look tatty, a table that had sticky marks which had not been cleaned and a long hair on the back of sofa. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you. The apartments are at the far end of Queen Street near Charlotte square, so a fair hike to Waverley with luggage in tow, but only a few minutes in a taxi. Close to many bars and restaurants

Room was top notch, well sectioned into a living room, kitchen area and the bedroom. Cleanliness was high and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is a slight walk to the castle / city centre, but we enjoyed being on the quieter side yet within walking distance. The bathroom is old, outdated and dirty (in a way that requires refurbishing and not just a wipe).

Comfortable room with good amenities. The decor was nice and the service in the lobby was very kind. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have hoped, there was mold in the shower and the room had a strong urine smell. Also, the original windows rattle quite a bit during windy conditions, making it difficult to sleep.

Very well equipped studios and apartments, a short walk from Rose Street & Princes Street. Our studio was ready on time and was very well presented when we arrived, the wi-fi is fast and both the living area and bathroom area of the studio are spacious. However, we did have a lower level studio and the water pump that was used when the shower was running was very loud and very annoying, so I would NOT opt for a lower level apartment, if booking again.

Good location in a generally (relatively) peaceful part of central Edinburgh. Unfortunately having a basement room right on Queen Street and sash windows only nominally sound proofed by secondary double glazing, sleep was disturbed by carousers outside my window. Otherwise a convenient location and new looking decoration was good. I’d stay again if I could be sure of a high floor room at the back.

Very noisy , when you book a room here , most likely they will assign you a basement room , even after I request to move to the upper floor , my request was ignored by the staffs . I hear the door slamming very loud at night at 11 am when I tried to sleep . And the noise came back again at 6am non stop , as they have facilites in the basement for their staffs and most of these noise are made by their staffs , the door opening and closing almost every 3 minutes that I have to tell the staffs to be quiet however it didn’t stop until I check out .

We booked an Aparthotel primary due to the cooking facilities available in the room. Unfortunately, after arriving, it was confirmed that the stove/hob advertised in the listing had been removed. This scuppered our dinner plans and increased the overall cost of our stay in Edinburgh massively as we then had to eat out for each meal. Being autistic, this unexpected change and the need to locate suitable alternative venues to eat in resulted in a lot of additional stress. We haven’t been offered any kind of reimbursement by Aparthotel. I’m very disappointed.

Very poor communication. Our suite had a washer dryer combination for our reservation, but the dryer never worked. Checked with the front desk and they mentioned a maintenance person would come to fix it. This person never came and then when we checked again on Saturday the front desk mentioned they do not work on the weekends. We were told they were coming each time, but they never showed up. Front desk lady was not helpful at all Very, very hard beds.

Our stay at Native Edinburgh was wonderful. The moment we stepped in the hotel, we were warmly greeted by staff members Isabela and Valerie. They were kind enough to move us to a room with a washer/dryer upon arrival so that we could do some much-needed laundry. The hotel is adorable and stylish, and has a lovely cafe in the lobby. Isabela and Valerie were wonderful throughout our stay, and made us some fantastic cappuccinos in the morning. Don’t hesitate to book with Native Edinburgh — you will love your stay!

The hotel staff will not help customers solve the room problem, they just tell you that they can't do anything, instead of helping customers solve the problem or give a solution. For the same price, I was given a cramped room on the first floor below ground. And the room window was open when I entered, which was not safe. And the room temperature was very low, and the air conditioning took a long time to work. They ignored it and said that if you are not satisfied, you can contact to complain but there is nothing we can do.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. My airline lost my baggage and each staff person was aware and kept checking for me. They were also incredibly helpful with recommendations for around town and further afield in Scotland. The location was perfect and walkable to everything without being hectic.

During our first night, half of the building, including our room, had no power. This meant we couldn’t charge our devices, which was particularly inconvenient given our short two-day stay. When we raised the issue, we were advised to sit in the hotel lobby to charge our devices — hardly an acceptable solution when you're on limited vacation time. We were provided with an email address for the manager, but after sending two emails and a follow-up, we received no response. The lack of communication and accountability from management was incredibly unprofessional and deeply disappointing. While the space itself was lovely, the hospitality was lacking, and the experience left us stressed during our time in Edinburgh. Fortunately, we were headed to the Highlands and didn’t have to stay long. For a property to ignore guests during a power outage — even for one night — is simply unacceptable. As a frequent traveler, I would caution others: if something goes wrong, don’t expect meaningful support or communication from this establishment.

Staff on reception were less than helpful when I arrived around 10mins tea before check in. I was abruptly told rooms are not ready until 3pm. I appreciate I was early but feel it could have been better handled. When I returned at the check in desk after 3, I was told to sit as she needed to see if the cleaning was done and advised the delay was due to a lack of duvets.

The location was amazing. I was hoping the room was a fully blackout room, however it was not, there was light that was able to get into the room which made it hard for me to sleep. The location was great and it was very easy to get around. I would recommend this location.

Excellent location of property for price. Apartments have all amenitjes you could possibly want to self cater. There is a small shop on site for snacks and drinks. A greater choice of hard drinks would be nice. Customer service could probably be improved but wasn't bad. No soap in the bathroom. No apology from receptionist, and was more interested in getting housekeeping to resolve this the following morning rather than just getting this for us at the time. Receptionist seemed disinterested on checkout.

This hotel was perfect for us! Comfortable, convenient, clean...all the important stuff. There is not daily housekeeping, which really worked for us, and plenty of nice touches to make our stay pleasant. Great staff, excellent breakfast to-go bag, and silly as it may sound, the shower is fantastic!

Pros: - Very central location -Really surprised with the good insulation in-between the rooms. Slept very well - Proffesional staff and very helpful - Secure parking available (needs to be booked). That is rare to have in Edinburgh. Cons: - No cleaning of the room done every day - Breakfast is not great. No continental buffet offered, instead they provide individual bag wich include small juice, porridge, and a biscuit. Overall I would recomend it. It is a great hotel to stay for few nights

Native is a great hotel and location was perfect as it was not in Princes Street. Staff is great. There is a small breakfast available and we now love porridge. Laundry facilities are available for guests. No room service every day but staff will respond if you need anything. Definitely would stay here again next time we visit Scotland.

Having access to laundry was amazing! The front staff was helpful, the little bag breakfast was nice. My only "difficulty" was the internet not really working on my phone. Seemed fine for my friend, but mine didn't seem to be working.
