The luggage lift wasn’t operational. One of the elevators was under maintenance most of the stay. The down button on our floor wasn’t working, so you’d have to go up with the elevator before going down. The room was clean, a bit small though. Gym is good, used it several times.

The hotel is located in a lovely area that is close to numerous great attractions and dining options- including the Lamprey restaurant in the hotel, which was great! It seemed like a very safe and peaceful area and the hotel is a short walk from the tower hill tube station, so it was really easy to get to other places from there. The hotel itself is quite nice- clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it to others and I would definitely stay there again myself. Great experience overall!

Beautiful hotel, great location 2 mins walk from tower hill tube. My room was modern and clean, with a lovely bathrobe, bottled water and tea/coffee facilities. Nice bar and restaurant attached.. will def stay again

Loved the property location, 10 walk from London Bridge Station, The Shard, Tower Bridge. The Restaurant at the hotel was great! Food was good and staff was friendly. The Hotel staff was very helpful and charged my portable charger and offered a plug adapter when mine did not charge my phone. Gym opened 24 hours. Loved the bathroom. The only thing I did not care for was the hard bed and too soft pillows. I did not sleep well, otherwise an excellent hotel.

Great area near Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Wonderful rooms with an amazing shower/tub that I want in my own house. Really enjoyed the Lampery bar and restaurant on the first floor.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The location was central and close to public transport making it easy to explore London. Slight annoyance was only one lift to use which meant we had to wait a while for the lift on a couple of occasions.

Excellent 3-night stay at the Apex City of London. Staff so helpful, clean-supreme, rooms with A/C, spacious and very comfortable. Amazing shower and bathroom with all amenities. Upmarket reception and staff held luggage as boarding a later flight....couldn't adk for more! Very satisfied! As the saying goes, 'I'll be back..'...

Fantastic room, lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. The complimentary snacks were very much appreciated! The staff were fantastic, couldn’t do enough for us, especially the front desk staff. Great location and a lovely hotel. I have already recommended it to friends a number of times!

We had a wonderful stay at Apex Hotel in London. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with all the little touches that make a big difference. The location was perfect, close to everything yet quiet enough for a good night’s rest. Tower of London was 4 mins walk and Tower Bridge was 10mins walk so you won’t ever run out of things to do in this location. A special mention to ‘Rahul’ at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth from check-in to our request for late check-out, and his warm attitude really stood out for us. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London — fantastic service, lovely ambience, fantastic breakfast at the hotel restaurant and truly great staff!

Stay was fine. Room was a little strange. Was in the basement with no windows, just a window in the ceiling. Was explained during check in that the room didn’t have a main big window, just assumed it would have smaller windows. Slightly worried that in an emergency and the corridor was blocked, there was no way to escape the room

The hotel is in a good location, clean, staff is friendly. Enjoyed breakfast. The problem was air conditioning in our room did not work properly and we had to sleep with windows open and a fan in August. Had the air conditioning worked properly hotel would have received a better rating.

Pros: super comfy, large bed; nice shower and great bathroom shelving space for toiletries; good location; super quiet room; good AC; spacious; brought me a second duvet upon request; fridge in room is a convenient touch. Only cons are the price (London is expensive) and that our room had the smallest window in all history, so we had zero natural light. However, this could be a pro, in a way, because it made sleeping in really nice. Excellent stay overall.

Very good restaurant and children friendly Robert was great when we had dinner. The breakfasts were very good but staff there need better training to be efficient, in my opinion. It took a loooong time to just get coffee! No wifi in our room on 5th floor. But we liked the location and would come back!

Disorganised at check in, reception asked my name several times and looked puzzled, even though I had checked in online the previous day. Sorted a room out and gave me the key and number. Got to our room only to find someone already in it. The other guests we're a bit surprised to say the least. Back to reception and allocated another room, although this didn't seem to be set up for 2 people. However as we were going out we just acceoted it. Service at breakfast also poor, no cups on table, and being bought pots of tea with no cups. In all a bit disappointing for the money paid.

This was our 3rd time staying here and unfortunately not as good. Upon check in the girl only checked us in to 1 room, then when I asked about the other she told me we had 3 rooms booked, which we didn’t. She wasn’t very friendly and told us nothing about the hotel, not even which direction we needed to go to get to our room. We should have got a free drinks voucher and after getting to the room remembered this, we asked for it at reception afterwards and she was unsure but after checking said thank you for reminding her. Surely your staff should be better trained if front of house.

Fabulous staff as always Rahul on the front desk was so helpful, efficient and enthusiastic. We got our room upgrade and complimentary drinks no problem. And they made up the room so nicely for our anniversary with towel designs, petals, balloons and delicate cakes. All complimentary. Thanks to Olga for preparing the room. We always try and stay at Apex hotels and they never disappoint.

I thought that the staff were all extremely helpful, especially Vishal. There was a problem with a third party booking site reservation that I had made, and they quickly resolved the problem. Thank you! I highly recommend this property.

The hotel charged me an extra night for a late check in. Upon noticing this error, a refund was made to the incorrect card and as such, no credit was issued. The issue has still not been resolved. I am awaiting a response from the hotel staff still!

Good hotel, great location. Staff appear unmotivated and not really wiling to help. I asked for assistance on one occasion and the person wouldn't even stop to assist, but pointed to a line of people to join. Other staff were ok at best

Honestly couldn't recommend this hotel any more. It was simply fabulous. A three minute walk to London Underground station and located in a really safe central area. We could see Tower Bridge from our beautiful room. It was my mums 70th birthday and they couldn't have been kinder. Upgraded her room too! The little touches make all the difference. Breakfast in the lampery the next morning was bliss! Will 100% be returning!!

It’s just a 5-minute walk from Tower Hill Station and Tower Bridge! The accommodation is clean and tidy. Even though it’s close to Tower Bridge, the area is an office district, so everything feels organized and quiet. It’s right next to the Four Seasons Hotel as well! All the staff were very kind and helpful — I really appreciated their support. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in a calm and less crowded area.

The service was excellent and the location was very convenient. The tower of london and the tower hill station are less than a 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast is excellent but do not prepay as you can order from the menu at less than the prepay price. Have excellent memories of this hotel.

Fantastic location for a long weekend in London. Short distance from Tower Hill tube. Great options at breakfast although you do pay handsomely for it. Service was excellent but our biggest disappointment was having paid £250 per night, we were given a bedroom on the ground floor with no windows. Very claustrophobic despite the size of the room and Very warm despite the air-conditioning. The latter tended to switch off halfway through the night which meant for quite uncomfortable sleeps.

This was my worst experience at a hotel. The dining was terribly slow nothing came with any hurry. 30 minutes to get anything, would rather have a QR code to order off of. The bed was so bad that we could feel the springs and my wife has been on muscle relaxers for a week after sleeping in that bed.

Nice hotel, just 2 minutes from Tower Hill station and Tower of London. Fine service at the reception at check-in and out. However, seems like their coordination/ cooperation with the hotel restaurant wasn’t the best. We had some issues with breakfast which was added by the reception but the restaurant couldn’t see it, and charged us a higher price. Rooms nice - very standard
