The comfy room is truly comfy. It is a nice bed and you can connect your phone to the tv but if you're over 3 foot tall you wont fit in the shower. The problem is, the room I was put in is a loft space so I had to go on my knees in the Bathtub to shower. Appart from that is was great, the gym is small but does the job, staff are really friendly and helpful and area was convenient for why I was staying.

Having stayed here many times over the last 37 years I had no complaints about the hotel and staff. However parking is now paid and this change wasn’t clear when booking.

Stayed just for one night - very pleasant staff and lovely hotel. Limited parking. The room that we had was a bit noisy due to road noise and a continual banging noise. Not used to plane noises but that can’t be helped. Very polished styling and clean and neat. Had the use of two rooms with a twin adjoining room - very good option. Would rebook

Nice boutique hotel, friendly staff and dog friendly. Booked for wedding guests so personally didn't stay there. They were pleased with the comfort and design. Parking fee of £15 per day was a disappointment but unavoidable for a bride and her entourage.

We booked the Lodge the night before our day in Wimbledon, how close it was to Putney high street and on-site parking. What we weren’t aware of when booking and until we arrived was the building works at the hotel. This is advertised on the PC version of the website, but not on the tablet or phone versions of the website, or Hotel.Com, both of which I used. They advertise 26 car parking spaces, but the 13 at the rear can’t be used at the moment and I estimate half of the others are used by the builders. The builders started work at 8:00am right outside our window, so we had to shut the curtains and the window. We could still hear some choice language. I complained but was quickly shown the PC version of the website. I showed them the phone version and they quickly offered me a free breakfast. I complained to Hotel.com asking for a 50% refund. This was refused as the hotel denied it was an issue. Once the work is completed I’d be happy to stay there, the breakfast was good, although the room was quite small for the price.

Interesting building, newly renovated rooms are commendable. Room air-conditioning very quite and effective with outside temperature at 31c. Grateful that staff carried our luggage up 4 flights of stairs as there is no lift. Although situated on the Upper Richmond Road, it was very quiet inside the building. We consider ourselves fortunate to find a car parking space on site as renovation work has reduced the available parking spaces but we're made aware of this at the time of booking. Surprised at check-in to be asked for a £50 deposit to cover possible use of room mini bar, something we never use as they are far to expensive. We would prefer just a small fridge to cool drinking water and possibly fruit. The hotel fully met our needs and to a high standard and are to be congratulated for providing an exceptional breakfast

Was a lovely hotel and the team were super friendly, helping me with a taxi booking and a slightly later checkout. Some of the exterior areas need to be tidied up e.g the ‘Lodge Hotel’ signs on the wall as you approach the hotel and completion of the outside areas

The room was tiny. It seemed that it had originally been one room made in to one. Bathroom was so small you struggled to shut the door as you squeezed yourself in. Bed was a standard double bedding was lovely and comfortable. Tiny window in the room which felt a little claustrophobic to me and looked out onto a white wall. For a one night stay it was fine but i don't think I'd return.

Friendly helpful staff, good value for this area in London, handy for the tube. The room was really quiet despite being on the flight path for Heathrow and on a busy road (our bedroom was at the back) - this was a very pleasant surprise and helped us get a good night’s sleep. We did not use the restaurant and only stayed for one night. I would recommend this hotel.

I was put in a room next to the fans and the kitchen, it was very noisy in the morning and I couldn’t open the blind as people kept walking past my window. The shower did not get hot even after running it for 20 minutes, parking is a bit of an issue and has a £15 charge. I doubt I’d stay again.

"Cosy" room was actually tiny. Shower difficult to turn round in. Very generic breakfast, with hot-ish food in chafing dishes. Nice, apologetic staff, but I wouldn't book again. Piptree breakfast-coffee shop 50 yards away was excellent.

I didn’t actually make it to a room. We booked through Expedia and after we booked we called and asked if they had parking and the answer was YES So when we arrived we saw that the front carpark was full and the overflow car park was closed. We spoke to the gentleman at reception and asked where we park our car. His reply “The car park is on a first come first serve basis You can park in a side road but I wouldnt do that with your car. And finally there is an NCP carpark a 10 minute walk away” The car park situation is a complete shambles. We had been driving for 5 hours and even called ahead to make sure all was ok. I asked for a refund and was told “ you booked with Expedia so nothing I can do” “ I only work here I can’t help you” The man at the desk was very unhelpful So jumped back in the car and took a short drive to the Hilton. Got a lovely room was greeted by welcoming staff and got a room at short notice with breakfast for £120. They even had a car park space for my car !

A building site literally outside my bedroom window, woke me up hammering at 7:30am. No hot water, Told to wait for an hour for the hot water to be sorted, it wasn’t, had to go all the way across the hotel for a shower in another room Said I wanted a refund they told me to sort it with hotels.com, I spent some time trying to do this, but couldn’t so I pushed back on this and then they did issue a refund.

I had a great stay here. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and the hotel itself is clean and nicely presented. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from Putney Station and Putney High Street, where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants. Wandsworth is only about 10 minutes away on foot and offers even more options for dining, gyms, bars and pubs. The rooms are a good size and well maintained, perfect for a few days in London with excellent transport links nearby.

Very clean, quiet and safe location. Very convenient access to transportation. East Putney station steps away with access to main lines and other stations. Bus stop right outside the hotel lobby. Various Grocery stores steps away. Very close to pubs and restaurants and very close to large wine store with excellent selection.

Friendly helpful staff, good value for this area in London, handy for the tube. The room was really quiet despite being on the flight path for Heathrow and on a busy road (our bedroom was at the back) - this was a very pleasant surprise and helped us get a good night’s sleep. We did not use the restaurant and only stayed for one night. I would recommend this hotel.

A short walk from the Underground station, we received a friendly welcome after a long day in the city. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend and check availability next time we are in London for a show!

Perfect location to get into London, underground station about a 2 minute walk away. Staff were so helpful and polite. Hotel was decorated to a high standard, very clean, rooms all well equipped. Will definetly return to stay here, Thankyou.

Location is superb, quiet at night with excellent access to restaurants & underground. Bonus is a car park £15 per day. Staff is exceptionally nice. Food is great too. This is my n-th stay there.

What a lovely hotel in a fab location. Very friendly staff on arrival and our room was an excellent size and very clean. A short distance from East Putney station to take you into Central London, and a small cafe down the road is excellent for breakfast if you fancy something different. We had drinks at the hotel in the evening and we thought they were great quality for money. The hotel was nice and quiet at night and there was plenty of parking and it all felt very safe. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely property with high standard decor and cleanliness of rooms. Staff helpful and friendly to make us feel at home during the stay. Fantastic breakfast, very delicious! Property in walking distance of amenities and tube direct into London. Parking available if you can get a spot but very fortunate to have the facility in london! Would return.

Stayed here for our trip to Wimbledon, hotel and staff were great , only one quick train stop to Wimbledon tennis . Close to lots of cafes , shops and restaurants. Room was nice clean and modern but air conditioning was quite noisy . Soaps etc provided were nice and expensive smelling but rainfall shower lacked pressure and was difficult to wash long hair . Breakfast was nice and fresh , worth the money but dinner was overpriced for quality but there is plenty of food options a short walking distance away . Overall a nice hotel and would stay here again if attending Wimbledon .

Fabulous hotel! We chose this location due to proximity to Wimbledon (we attended the tournament 2 days), but it was a very short walk to the underground to get to city centre. The staff were fantastic - took our bags to the room and let us check in (very) early for a small fee which was much appreciated after a long flight. The room was spotless and they have fanatic toiletries. The breakfast was not included but we did eat a few days and the spread is very expansive and imo worth the £15. There is a grocery store close by as well, with a mini fridge in the room.

We had a fantastic stay here and glad we chose it as our base to attend Wimbledon. The staff were great from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. It was relaxing - lovely courtyard for some early evening drinks and the food was absolutely delicious. All the staff were great but huge shout out to the 2 servers on our Thursday night (2nd July) were exceptional - clearly hugely busy but still gave excellent service and with a smile on their faces. Thank you for a fantastic satey - we will be back :-)
