Emergency booking due to train cancellations. Very convenient to Euston station at a sensible price. Room looked stark and basic but was surprisingly comfortable and clean. Nice restaurant with gluten free options within the hotel.

CONS: My first room had no soundproofing (noise coming in from windows). The staff quickly moved me - very understanding and efficient. There is only one slow lift PROS: Clean rooms excellent breakfast ! very helpful staff

Not much I can say really... It is a 3 star hotel, with extremely compact rooms but a good use of space. It is a kelesss check in, which means you have to download an app (willingly or not) in order to be open your door. It was a little tricky, took us two attempts but we've got there. The lift displays wasn't working so a little inconvenient as you did not know whether was responding to your commands. I wasn't told of any VIP rewards through my membership (I have requested an upgrade prior to my staying but did not received a reply). I've stayed in room 310 (I couldn't tell you whether that was an upgrade, however I doubt as I can imagine what the perks of the update was if it would have been). The TV was operated by the same app through a tablet. However, I couldn't get it to work and there's nothing in the room to help you if something is not working or people tend to be confused about... Other than that, it was an ok stay, in a clean room at an acceptable price for London, with modern technology that has prove to hinder rather than enhance my stay. Disappointment with the failing of staff to pick up on my VIP reward, but happy that they were curious about keeping my small trolley at hotel for most of the following day.

Stayed here for two nights recently whilst in London. The location for me was perfect, plenty of tube lines and connectivity to get about, with the hotel being easy to find. Check in felt a bit disorganised and Ryanair "breakfast is available at xxxx to xxxx in the morning" "okay" "it's an extra charge", "I'm good thanks" "Do you want access to the hotel gym" "sure" "it's £10 a night" I would just treat this hotel as bare bones and not worry. --- The bedroom was where for me it lost it's rating, the room was clean and tidy, but it has noticeable repair needs, one blind wouldn't even fully lower, it was too short also with added mould, the shower needs the grout replacing and mould removing. A good deep clean and some simple maintenance would fix it up. --- Checking out took a long time as lots of others are asking about breakfast, it took about 5 minutes a person to lookup their reservation and check if it was included or not, before then taking payment. I wanted to leave a bag and that was fine but then I had to take it to the luggage room with them and collect it that way, usually you just hand over your bag and get a ticket. --- Overall, it's a good location and the rooms are mostly clean (ignoring mould) though I wouldn't stay again.

Very good access to the underground so easy to get to most of the rest of London. Rooms were clean and pleasant with air conditioning. And quiet. Staff were polite and helpful. They let us store our bags on the final day after checkout and come back for them later.

A good 3 star hotel centrally located and it looks recently renovated. Very compact room with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom cubicle. The elevator broke down while I was there so that was a challenge with luggage and there was also some confusion on what Expdia/Hotels.com offer with benefits. Nice restaurant/cafe. If you need a quiet room ask for one away from the main street as you do hear the traffic. Good hotel for price.

The hotel is conveniently located near Euston. Check in was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately after I got to my room it didn’t look like it had been properly cleaned as there was hair on the bedding etc. The front desk staff were very apologetic and moved me to another room without any issue. This room was better but unfortunately there were still some issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The ceiling was covered in mould in the shower and the sink had no plug meaning I could see the horrible bacterial growth in the drain. It also smelled bad when running the tap. I couldn’t bring myself to go down again so just dealt with it. Aside from this the hotel is good, breakfast was nice and reasonably priced and the beds were comfortable. Rooms were air conditioned and some of them have a mini fridge.

Ive stayed here once before and it was fine. Id booked a windowless room and was told upon check in we could have a complimentary upgrade to a room with a window. The window looked out onto a metal ventilation system of some form so completely pointless. The shower had balck mould all around the silicone which was disgusting! The cleaners came at 8am to clean the room next door and was laughing extremely loud, slamming toilet lids etc not even attempting to be quiet so early

we stayed 4 nites. Room was not cleaned. I checked in around 9:00pm. The shower gel bottle and the shampoo bottle in the bathroom were broken. There were hairs on the floor of the shower room. This condition keep on for every day. Towels were yellowish and don't feel clean.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was a terrible smell of drains in both rooms 11 and 12 for the 2 rooms we booked. This made it difficult to sleep due to the smell. I did mention it to the lady on reception who said that she would refund both our rooms by 20% but have not had anything through from you.

The smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, and the TV didn’t work when we arrived. Fancy tablet to control the tv and when that wasn’t working, had to wait for a full day for a remote control so we could use it. Shower tray overflowed and because the room was so small the water came out of the bathroom into the area next to the bed, all 18 inches that was spare around it. I don’t normally write reviews because I’ve never had an experience that’s been much more than niggles, but this made the stay properly unpleasant.

Stayed here for one night and was only in the room to sleep, so the smallness didn’t bother me so much. However, the reviews about the noisy AC were unfortunately true. The AC made a clicking sound every 5ish minutes and woke me up throughout the night. I even turned it off and risked sweating but it still made the noise. If you book this place, bring ear plugs and a white noise machine.

Nice looking comfortable room but there was a regular very loud buzzing mechanical noise from cable boxes in the ceiling. Someone came to look and heard it but said there were no spare rooms so I couldn’t move. A real shame this happened as it spoiled what could have been a comfortable stay.

Decent room size for london, weird glass wall into ensuite which was uncomfortable. Room well decorated but needs coat of paint and some attention in bathroom and not very well sound proofed to the outsideroad or the other rooms within the hotel

The room was small but well thought out so it didn't feel too boxy. Bathroom was brand new and the shower was excellent! We found the bed very small for two people but the mattress was comfortable. AC/Heating worked well. The TV was switched on via an ipad and that didn't work in our room, but we did not miss it. Reception staff was excellent and went out of their way to help out with whatever was needed. Location is excellent, right next to Euston Sq station so would definitely stay again for a London trip

We were offered to switch rooms but it was late at night and we were out the next day until early in the morning so it was too complicated to sort. We ended up not using it at all the second night which meant a hot room but better than being woken up every 5 minutes.

Complete ripoff. And unsafe. The rooms have clearly had a modern makeover sadly this hides many problems with the room. The layout is poorly done causing the room to feel very small. There is poor to no soundproofing between rooms causing me to hear my neighbours toilet emergency at 3 in the morning in great detail. The elevator is slow and the air conditioner is loud. Even if you get past the loud A/C the room is quite hot. the bed is cheap and uncomfortable. But easily the worst part was when a random stranger walked into my room. When I reported this I was told it was staff. I pointed out I had a do not disturb sign up and the man who entered never identified himself. I got a new key after that, but they only set the key for 24 hours meaning every day I had to get a new key. I don't know who the man who entered my room was or how he was able to enter. Staff didn't seem to know either and weren't that bothered to seek out the man or explain how he could get in my room. For the price this place is terrible. I would never stay here again. They clearly tried to make the place look high end while cheaping out on all the features that are essential to a comfortable stay. I don't need a tablet to control the TV. I want a functioning shampoo dispenser.

The location was great. The staff was kind, helpful, accommodating on every way possible. We had two rooms and they allowed us to have an available room immediately and later they offered a bigger room. The only problem was the water pressure in sink and shower and hot water often in the sink instead of cold. We will stay here again.

Not recommended. Took approx 30 mins to check in! Room noisy due to a rattling air con fan. Tv not working in room so ended up using a phone to watch something Bought a coffee in restaurant and got served a coffee that was expresso sized. Poor, would not visit again. Staff seemed quite cold and uninterested.

Stayed here for two nights recently whilst in London. The location for me was perfect, plenty of tube lines and connectivity to get about, with the hotel being easy to find. Check in felt a bit disorganised and Ryanair "breakfast is available at xxxx to xxxx in the morning" "okay" "it's an extra charge", "I'm good thanks" "Do you want access to the hotel gym" "sure" "it's £10 a night" I would just treat this hotel as bare bones and not worry. --- The bedroom was where for me it lost it's rating, the room was clean and tidy, but it has noticeable repair needs, one blind wouldn't even fully lower, it was too short also with added mould, the shower needs the grout replacing and mould removing. A good deep clean and some simple maintenance would fix it up. --- Checking out took a long time as lots of others are asking about breakfast, it took about 5 minutes a person to lookup their reservation and check if it was included or not, before then taking payment. I wanted to leave a bag and that was fine but then I had to take it to the luggage room with them and collect it that way, usually you just hand over your bag and get a ticket. --- Overall, it's a good location and the rooms are mostly clean (ignoring mould) though I wouldn't stay again.

I had booked 2 night stay in a twin room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have hot water on our first morning but this was recitified once I had notified reception. One thing did annoy me. When one checks into hotels it is not uncommon to be asked to register a credit card and a small nominal transaction takes place, (I assume to check the card works) in case of any billable extras. We had paid for our room in advance and didn't require any extras. However, having checked out (and because i had pre paid) I later noticed on my credit card transactions an additional £9.61 charge against my card. I rang the hotel to ask why I had been charged and was told that it was a service fee which goes to the staff. On the basis I had no hot water on our first day and the fact that wasn't informed of the service fee I asked for it to refunded. I made my first request the day I checked out and was told I would be refunded immediately. One week later I still wasn't refunded so contacted the hotel again who said again they would immediately refund me. 24 hours later they still haven't. Guess who I will be ringing tomorrow.

My stay was wonderful. The staff are so helpful. The manager Mohammed had promised me a room upgrade because i stayed there a couple of weeks ago and was true to his word. I also received a complimentary tray of fruit and a lovely welcome card. I will be staying there again. Thank you.

When we arrived we had a quick and friendly check in and the first impressions of the hotel were good. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with everything we needed. It was a nice surprise when a member of staff knocked on the door with a selection of fresh fruit because we were the hotel's 'VIP of the day'. This was a lovely extra touch. I would definitely stay again

My husband and I got woken up at 1am by another guest using a key card and walking into our room. The front desk then called and said we were in the wrong room. We explained we were in the room they gave us. He said the other couple needed it and told us we would have to move. We obviously told him we weren’t going to do that (and why would the couple want to stay in the bed we were just sleeping in?!) The whole experience was beyond crazy.

Perfect location in order to access the Tube network. Rooms are small but for a few days it’s more than enough. Clean and tidy, plenty of sockets to charge devices. Shower is brilliant!! I see on other comments that you can hear the hospital over the road. Yes you can, so maybe if your a light sleeper this could cause some issue.. maybe the hotel could look at some extra window seal / sound proofing for this. All in all. Good stay! Thank you.

The hotel is very conveniently located for a number of tube lines with a lot of bars and restaurants being within walking distance. The beds are comfortable, the showers big and powerful. The rooms can sometimes be on the smaller side but that's London for you! It has been quiet every time we have stayed. Check in and out is quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfasts are great, although we don't have them often as I'm not really a breakfast person. They always store our luggage in a locked room with a ticket number on our checkout day until we come back at the end of the day.

The room was small but well thought out so it didn't feel too boxy. Bathroom was brand new and the shower was excellent! We found the bed very small for two people but the mattress was comfortable. AC/Heating worked well. The TV was switched on via an ipad and that didn't work in our room, but we did not miss it. Reception staff was excellent and went out of their way to help out with whatever was needed. Location is excellent, right next to Euston Sq station so would definitely stay again for a London trip

In London for a wedding in the Euston area and this hotel suited us perfectly. Rooms were on the small side so don't know if I would have wanted to stay more than a couple of nights though. Excellent shower, staff at reception friendly and helpful and breakfast cooked to order rather than a buffet. Was worried about the traffic noise being on such a busy road but it wasn't a problem.

After reading reviews I wasn't sure I wanted to book as it seemed like a very mixed bag, safe to say I was pleasantly surprised. Everything about my stay at Euston Square Hotel was fantastic. The room itself was very clean and well presented. The staff went above and beyond with any questions I had or amenities I needed. What I will say though since the location is very central, you do get noise at night. I personally don't mind it as I like to sleep with background noise. They also need to fix the cold water pressure, strangely the hot pressure is really good. I'd also highly recommend checking out the restaurant!! (Breakfast is fantastic)

The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The room was compact but well thought out, including a safe and fridge. The bed was comfortable but a little small for sharing. Food at the hotel was great. There was a continental breakfast option with hot foods made to order. The location was ideal, giving easy access to the city via the underground.

A good 3 star hotel centrally located and it looks recently renovated. Very compact room with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom cubicle. The elevator broke down while I was there so that was a challenge with luggage and there was also some confusion on what Expdia/Hotels.com offer with benefits. Nice restaurant/cafe. If you need a quiet room ask for one away from the main street as you do hear the traffic. Good hotel for price.

It is a self checkin. Elevator call button do not light up and so you don't know if the elevator is coming or not coming. Floor 3 button does not light up. Staff gave me a room where the TV remote would not work, Vent does not work, phone would not work. I complained about this and they said they will have someone take a look. Next day I noticed that room wall had Mold. I showed picture of this to s reception staff and they said they can give another room. I had to vacate my room while I was rushing to office and store my luggage in reception. When I came in the evening, reception staff gave me a different room.
