Overall a comfortable hotel, which was good value considering it is central London. Location great for Paddington area and also access to Wembley Stadium. Stayed in Executive King, room comfortable but felt there was nothing different to any standard rooms had stayed in at other Hilton’s (Curio, Hampton and doubletree) except the access to the executive lounge. Check in was very busy, not enough desks for the number of people. Our room was not ready and had to wait. I found the 1st receptionist not helpful - just told wait should be 10 minutes. No access to executive lounge provided or any info - just that the digital key will be activated. 40 minutes later not ready, rejoined the queue and new room sorted by someone a lot more helpful. Executive Lounge was an experience. The staff were great but sadly no ‘afternoon tea’. Disappointed that the offerings were crisps, biscuits or some fruit. Breakfast was the opposite and a great deal of choice and variety.

Everything was excellent apart from the lifts. If you stayed on the 16th floor you might take 20 minutes to go down at the breakfast rush hour as only two out of four lifts seemed to be working.

Massive hotel on Edgeware Road - clean and efficient. Car park seems to be owned by a separate group and is very expensive. I was charged more than the displayed prices. For the price of the rooms you would expect some kind of discount on parking but I guess that's central london. Location is great for tubes and the restaurants down Edgeware Rd. Paddington Basin is a short walk and worth a visit

This hotel is huge! But very well run. Sometimes the wait for lifts is really long and the queue for the breakfast rush is bonkers! That said, breakfast was great when we got in, the gym was excellent and great convenient location. The hotel felt nice and clean and well maintained

Our beds were made daily along with fresh towels but The room had trash left over from previous visitors that was still there when we left mirror inside room was very dirty never was cleaned took last day of stay for shampoo & conditioner bottles to get refilled just not up to previous Hilton’s standards we have stayed at

Aside from this hotels rooms being a bit dated it has a serious bug problem in the guest rooms. Our first night we noticed a large drain gnat above the bathroom door I noted but didn't make a big deal about it. Later on we started to notice fruit flies and other peski flying insects that became a nuisanse but dealt with it for the evening. The following day my daughter found an insect crawling in her clothes that she had stored in the hotels dresser. We filed a complaint with the manager on duty, (Isma) and had a front desk clerk move us to a different room that unfortunately had the same issues. Isma promised she would follow up with me on her findings and a resolution to my complaint but never did. Issues we encountered included bugs in both the bathroom and bedroom furniture, a dirty towel and subpar room cleaning services. Staff at the hotel was friendly but we were not happy with the service/accomodations provided. I found it to be unprofessional the Hilton London Metropole didn't offer a resolution to our ongoing issues. They did however write an apology note and give us a bowl of fruit and juice!?

This hotel was a huge disappointment. We booked 2 rooms, both rooms were small, had pretty bad odor. The room I stayed in had splatters on the walls and blood staines on the bed sheets, and the room smelled bad, there’s no noise isolation what so ever and you can hear everything happening in the corridors and the next rooms, when I informed the front desk they were kind enough to change the room for me however the new room was also suboptimal it still had the strange smell, the bath towels were dirty and had hair on them, it also had the same zero noise isolation and the corridors were pretty noisy at night, anther thing to note is that the bathrooms had no ventilations in them which is very inconvenient as the bathroom would get foggy and wet after you take a shower. So in summary I was very disappointed with this hotel it did not meet my expectations based on the descriptions provided on the website and it’s really not worth the amount of money paid to stay in this hotel, would definitely never book there again.

Obvious dark hairs on the bathroom floor - multiple. Asked for bathroom to be cleaned, it wasn’t. Stained bed linen, dried blood and goodness knows what else. Shower was mediocre & toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Again we informed reception but nothing done. Thankfully we were only booked in for one night. We won’t return.

The walls between rooms on 12th floor was so thin I could clearly hear the next room’s TV. The wrestling show was loud and interrupted reading and sleeping. Area around hotel has some construction and obstacles walking.

Loved the modern look and feel of the rooms. We chose a renovated room and it was very lovely. The internal view didn’t get much sunlight but it wasn’t too bad. There is a bar and cafe on the ground floor which is very convenient. It is also located near many tube stations and plenty of food options, as well as a superdrug & M&S nearby if you need to purchase anything. Would definitely stay again!

The shower/tub did not drain. The tub side was very high. The elevators were slow or did not work. Staff and breakfast were great. The maintenance worker took us down on the the employee elevator d/t malfunctioning elevator after standing and waiting for 10 minutes. Proximity to the tube station was very good. It was about half a block away.

Didnt know if i booked b&b nothing was said at check in. A £50 extra deposit was required which i didnt know. I found the room tired for the money and the brand. Staff clearly had a speech for the west wing "has a beautiful view of the city" it didnt it had a view of the next apartment block. Just wholly disappointed.

Lights went out water went out couldn’t shower granddaughter water went out halfway through her shower so had to wait to shower lost all morning miss a tour restaurant closed 3 days of the 4 we were there problems with the register couldn’t charge other the water going out used coffee in room and never got restocked asked housekeeping they could do it had to call front desk that never answered no room service even though they say they have room service shower head couldn’t stay up so very inconvenient to shower House keeper didn’t speak English so had problem communicating

We got a room where the sink would not drain. After multiple attempts to fix it we were given another room. The sink would not drain there either. We reported it and they came did a partial fix where they removed the stopper.

I did not have a pleasant stay at this Hilton property. Initially the desk staff Zaid gave away 1 of the 2 rooms I booked while I was checking in. This was a miscommunication between him and the other clerk Joshua and I was left with only one room available. The clerk Zaid was rude in how he handled the incident mentioning he was doing me a “favor”. When I returned a female clerk attended to me after speaking with Zaid and assigned me a room with bugs! I’ve attached pictures of the bugs in the room. I complained about this, and by this time my partner had arrived. He went to address this with the staff and at this point I was given a decent room. I DO NOT recommend this hotel for a girls trip or women traveling alone!! They do not make women feel safe without a man present. My partner lives in London and came to stay to ensure our safety. I chose this hotel bc of proximity to tube and central. We came in town for the NFL game and a celebration of life during the week. So this was convenient. However, the staff while checking in did not meet Hilton’s standard.

Excellent service. Arrived from Vancouver after a nine hour flight about 30 minutes early for check in. The girl behind the counter originally asked us to wait 30 minutes but when I said we were dying to get in and get washed up and have a nap after a red eye flight she got us in immediately and no extra charge. These little acts of kindness are what separates the good from the great places to stay.

Stay was excellent. Staff member at front desk seemed put out having to check us in. She appeared to have just dealt with a tough client right before us, and he patience was limited. That said, staff in the executive lounge was excellent, friendly and very helpful. I was told to check back via the app with front desk to see when my room was ready, which i kept doing until 3pm. Finally i brought it to the attention of the individual in the lounge, he tried several times to get the front desk, and was unable to. Just as i was getting ready to go back down myself, the person in the lounge offered to go down and get the room sorted on my behalf. Suggestion, if the hilton app chat does not work, or front desk is not going to answer within a reasonable time, don't direct to it. Also, 2nd suggestion, for those traveling from overseas and having to wait for a room, put a shower facility in your workout area, most hotels i have stayed at in London in the past have this, and unfortunately coming from the Americas this is really the only reason i would not use this hotel in the future. I usually come to London on business, arriving early morning, needing a shower before going to my office.

Service was not bothered, extremely slow. I asked for one bath robe that took them 3 calls from my side within 2.5 hours. It shouldn’t take 2.5 hours and me calling 3 times for something simple. I had burger and coke, and charged to my room. Upon checkout, I see the bill of over 100gbp. They took over 30 minutes to sort it out, and nearly miss my flight to JFK. Be careful. Check the bill. I had expected that staying with a major hotel chain would safeguard against such problems, but unfortunately, that was not the case at this property. Very disappointed.

Possibly the worst £650 I’ve ever spent on a one night stay. My privacy was violated by the cleaning team members. My checkout time was noon 12. I went for breakfast and came back at 11:30 to all my luggage opened on the table scattered!!! I called security and management. Who were the worst! All the had to say to me was that I didn’t have a privacy card on my door so they violated your space, are you serious?? If my touch out time is noon why the hell is anyone entering my room!!! Zero hospitality shown no accommodation no accountability was shown by the manager and security guy mahmoud.

Wow, the staff and their level of service and generosity did not go unmissed. We are so thrilled, grateful and overwhelmed by their kindness and professionalism. The hotel was spotless and maintained to a high standard, the bed was comfy, the restaurants and bars were amazing and the experience overall was amazing. We will deffinately be booking again in the future.

The hotel has a convenient central location but the surrounding area felt very uncomfortable and unsafe at night. The lobby facilities have been renovated but the lobby bathroom stalls did not lock and the rooms are below subpar. The hallways were dirty and smelled of mold. The room was old and worn, with dirty carpets and blinds, the deadlock at the door did not work due to warpage.

Our family stayed here on a recent trip to London, the hotel was excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the hotel is located right next to an underground station and some great place to eat. When we come back to London we will definitely stay here again.

Discovered we had rooms on different floors at check in & were told they could not be changed. After a brief discussion with management, the rooms were indeed changed to being very close by. Offered a free breakfast & lounge access too, so we were very happy. Cocktails/drinks in the bar were extortionate and absolutely tiny! Go elsewhere for a nightcap.

I loved the hotel, really friendly staff, unfortunately we booked for a meal in tyburn kitchen, it took over half an hour for a glass of wine and an hour for our starters. They were very short staffed, the food was cold and very little options as paid for meal upfront so had the set menu only 3 options for starters, main and dessert, we left before dessert come, they didn’t charge us for the extras we had but wouldn’t go to the restaurant again, breakfast was lovely

Nice hotel, good breakfast but very busy. 3 lifts went off when we were there and there was not a designated stairwell lead to the ground floor. Staff were under trained and unhelpful during this period. Thanks goodness there wasn’t an emergency
