Really nice furnishings, great location. There's no restaurant even though there's breakfast available. It was a really good place to stay, however the walls are paper thin so I was kept up several nights with loud talking through the wall... luckily the service was good and they sorted it, but... it was annoying

Staff were excellent but the premises was under renovation and so did have the cleanest of receptions or walkways, restaurant was closed and closed off areas which made it difficult to navigate. Due to this the condition of the hotel did not match the price per night. But to repeat this is not a reflection of the staff as they were excellent!

We were not told before or after we booked that the hotel kitchens were closed for renovation. We couldn’t find anywhere open on our first morning. I wish we had known as we might not have booked.

Possibly the noisiest hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in! Had to call down to reception to deal with noisy guests on the corridor, the walls were so thin you could hear every noise from the next room and banging that sounded like furniture being moved around until almost midnight! The lift was out of service meaning having to walk up 4 flights of stairs which were lit by an industrial light with a wire trailing down and covered in bits of plaster and building debris - certainly not expected for an almost £190 stay!

Property was under renovation which wasn’t mentioned at booking. No restaurant or bar due to work which was a pain. Also work started at 0730 with contractors drilling and banging. Also AC locked on and room was freezing, standard to all hotels controls didn’t work so didn’t sleep well as too cold

The hotel is getting refurbished. No dinning room no bar . Lift was out of order no lights on the stair once we complained they put emergency light on wires on stairs a total trip hazard. Also the fire alarm was going off very early in the morning. This hotel at this moment in time is a health and safety hazard . We did not feel safe staff were very nice and helpful they had to keep apologising for there hotel. If you are refurbishing a hotel close it until the work is done . We are not complaining people but this was not on . A partial refund should be made. Marian Merron

1) This hotel was a mess. The entire place except for the actual room was under construction and we didn't receive an email notifying us of this. 2) There were construction noises starting at 7:45AM on the Friday and Saturday morning of our trip. This is unacceptable 3) Because the entire place was a construction zone there were no restaurants on site AND there weren't even accessible lobby bathrooms. We weren't even given water in our rooms! 4) Every time we walked into the hotel the front door was WIDE open and there was no one at the front desk. Everyone was huddled in the back room. This is just poor security especially that it was happening after 11pm each night. 5) The lift broke on the last day so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs! I will 100% never stay here again and will be writing a public review so as many people as possible will never stay her either.

I had a really bad experience staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel Oxford Circus in London this time. Our room was in a worn out condition. It was dirty and looked worn out needing renovation. The ambience was very noisy from the renovation work in the rooms above. Alarm was rung early in the morning at 6am. I tolerated all these for 3 nights and decided to complain to the hotel. Andrew, the duty manger was aware of the incidents and agreed to change our room to a higher floor in order to avoid all these disturbances. He admitted that renovation work has been undergoing in the above guest rooms. He also added that Hotel.com should know about the renovation. I have been a loyal patron of your company for many years. No information on the hotel renovation work was mentioned when I made the booking which is, to me, unacceptable. I don’t mind to pay more for a tranquil stay in a proper decent hotel room. I believe any hotel room under this situation should not be sold.

The hotel is immaculate and beautifully recently renovated. Check in was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. In the room there are little touches like coffee machine, robe and slippers and complimentary drinks. The bathroom had beautiful finishes- tiles wallpaper and gold taps. The beds were comfortable. The staff made our stay so personal for my best friends 50th with a personlised note in the mirror and a complimentary chilled bottle of wine brought up to us on our arrival. The location is perfect for exploring the shops on Oxford street and was walkable to The Palladium. I can’t fault this gorgeous hotel in central London, it’s an absolute gem. The staff were the best and made our time here so special!

All good .. comfortable clean room. Nice facilities in room from tea coffee making / draw safe/ hairdryer/ local channels TV and information. Good WiFi connection. Bathroom soaps and big towels. We were on the second floor so maybe go higher if you cannot sleep with the sound of TfL underground trains. That said there is a white noise app on TV but didn’t use as we are not bothered by train sounds.

There was only luke warm water in room 675 and even after we notified reception snd they sent someone to look at it the water was never really hot. The next morning there was almost no water pressure. Good location in Marylebone, fairly quiet street. Not sure I would stay there again.

The property is in a quieter area yet close to transport and shopping. It is in very good condition, rooms well decorated and well thought out with good facilities. The staff were all most helpful and pleasant to deal with. We inadvertently left an item behind on checkout but the cleaner, Jesver, found it and we were easily able to retrieve it later in the day. Lovely stay and we will definitely stay here again.

We had a excellent stay here. Perfect location. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Room was spacious… breakfast was delicious and again the staff were excellent. i would thoroughly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back.

Stayed here a couple of weeks back, was confused as couldn’t find the holiday inn logo outside the hotel was unaware it was called different name, but was greeted by a kind employee who welcomed me and told me I was at the correct place. Check in easy, fantastic hotel and lovely room. Can’t wait to stay again next week, could not recommend it more.

Amazing refurbishment, ideally located in Marylebone, walking distance to all shops and restaurants and a stones throw to Marylebone Hotel. Quiet residential area too.

We only stayed for one night but was perfect for location as we came to London to watch a show. 5 minute walk to Oxford street and the hotel was clean and modern.

The hotel was up to standard, nothing to complain about. We didn't try the breakfast, we went to cafés in the area instead, and that was perfect. Close to both Ole and Steen, Joe and the Juice, Costa and some smaller cafés and restaurants. Perfectly located hotel, just 4 min walk to Oxford street. And the area where it's located, Marylebone, is really nice and not too loud. They cleaned the room and changed towels everyday, which is not very friendly to the environment. But it was good service and clean, so yeah..

There was only luke warm water in room 675 and even after we notified reception snd they sent someone to look at it the water was never really hot. The next morning there was almost no water pressure. Good location in Marylebone, fairly quiet street. Not sure I would stay there again.

Really nice furnishings, great location. There's no restaurant even though there's breakfast available. It was a really good place to stay, however the walls are paper thin so I was kept up several nights with loud talking through the wall... luckily the service was good and they sorted it, but... it was annoying

Very tored property! I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kensington last week and it was fantastic. The Welbeck Street one is no comparison. Very tired, no room service and breakfast limited. Not good when you're a woman on your own. Decor was awfu.i paid less for the one in Kensington too!!!

We were not told before or after we booked that the hotel kitchens were closed for renovation. We couldn’t find anywhere open on our first morning. I wish we had known as we might not have booked.

Property was under renovation which wasn’t mentioned at booking. No restaurant or bar due to work which was a pain. Also work started at 0730 with contractors drilling and banging. Also AC locked on and room was freezing, standard to all hotels controls didn’t work so didn’t sleep well as too cold

The hotel is getting refurbished. No dinning room no bar . Lift was out of order no lights on the stair once we complained they put emergency light on wires on stairs a total trip hazard. Also the fire alarm was going off very early in the morning. This hotel at this moment in time is a health and safety hazard . We did not feel safe staff were very nice and helpful they had to keep apologising for there hotel. If you are refurbishing a hotel close it until the work is done . We are not complaining people but this was not on . A partial refund should be made. Marian Merron

Told when we arrived that only continental breakfast was provided due to hotel refurbishment. Saw no evidence of the refurbishment but the breakfast was a poor quality; tinned fruit etc. may be a temporary problem but suggest you check before booking.

We had a good stay but found when we arrived at the hotel it was being refurbished and there was no breakfast available because of this. We would not have stayed if we would have been made aware of this when booking.

It was a pleasant stay although lost stars due to refurbishment work that meant no kitchen facilities. We weren't told they'd be no breakfast via a member of staff, just a laminated piece of paper on our rooms which we found later that evening as we were out . The alternative was to pay again for a delivery from a well known food delivery company which was extortionate for a few breakfasts. The hotel said I'd get my money back for the breakfasts wed already paid for from my original booking via my tour operator (meaning hotels.com I'm guessing) Not sure I will though.

We had a excellent stay here. Perfect location. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Room was spacious… breakfast was delicious and again the staff were excellent. i would thoroughly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back.

Not up to IHG standards. It a franchise operated hotel. The room was the smallest I've stayed in outside of Japan. Bed up against one wall so had to climb in and out. When we checked in there was a strong smell of body odour and a despite asking for a nice room, we got a cupboard. Hotel looks great in the outside just poor in the inside. Much better value hotels near by. We will not be back any time soon.
