If you arrive early, your room is ready they want you to pay £30 for an early check-in. Also if you want to store your luggage there’s a £10 charge. No free WiFi. It‘s all for free when you enroll in their membership program. Never heard such thing in others ibis Hotels. Everything else was fine.

Shower was awful. I’m talking really bad. Bed was not very comfortable and blankets were minimal. Staff were fairly useless. Bar and pizza was not 24/7 as advertised. Place was clean and in a good location but that’s the best that can be said about it.

Great location in terms of proximity to tube stations. Rooms and beds were sizable with a somewhat awkward layout/closet. Very quiet. Bathrooms are dated but okay in terms of cleanliness. Biggest issue is lack of air conditioning. There are heat pump style fans which are helpful. Even on the hot days and being on the 9th floor, the room was a good temperature for sleeping at night if the window was open and blinds closed during the day.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, very centrally located to everything…enjoyed the short walks around Shoreditch, there were tons of food options in the area, and next door to the Aldgate East station. Only negatives I had were: the TV only has local British channels, no streaming options available. Casting your windows or android device, or using a fire stick are the only options to stream on the TV. We tried to cast from our phone, but IOS was not compatible, so we were stuck watching just the local channels. There’s no AC system, the room got very warm and very quick. Fortunately, the hotel will provide a fan if requested. Lastly, there’s no phone in the room. There were a couple times we needed to call the front desk, and had to use our mobile phone. However, no one would answer the phone when selecting the receptionist prompt. Aside from these few things, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it made my first visit to London go off with ease.

Staffs are friendly. Good location. However the room is stuffy and has smell. No air conditioning. We borrowed a portable fan during our stay. Should replace the carpet to other flooring. Not enough hooks to hang clothes. Not enough space for luggages.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The rooms were not as shown in the pictures — they looked much older and poorly maintained. The mattress was extremely worn out and uncomfortable. They didn’t replace the wet towels during my stay, and the bathroom had a very bad smell that didn’t go away. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Checked in last night, no issues here. Room was not clean, especially the bathroom. Hair all over shower, taps hadn’t been wiped and very dirty. Hair stuck to walls in bathroom. No lock on bathroom door. Stains on the towels. Check out was quick and fine.

Good location close to Liverpool Street Station and Algate East tube stop. Hotel is very modern and clean. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and shower was excellent. Nice, light blocking drapes and it was very quiet.

Room smelled musty and sewer-ish. I think the toilet drain was not vented properly and it made the whole room smell like waste. No way to vent the room other than open the window and it was definitely too noisy to sleep with it open.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was quite worn down and there was a strong smelll of cigarette smoke in the room, probably due to other guests smoking. The bathroom was really uncomfortable and needs to be freshened up. The shower curtain was all dirty and not big enough. Dusting would also help to improve the room. The bed though were comfortable. The hotel is close to the tube station which is great and the breakfast was surprisingly good.

The location is great right under the Aldgate East Tube otherwise the hotel was not good. They always forgot to put new towels in the room. It was only cleaned superficially. The beds are very uncomfortable and the street is very noisy when you have the window open and you almost always have to have the window open otherwise the air in the room is stagnant.

I tend to frequent ibis hotels when I visit the EU, and this hotel was no different. Easy check in, affordable rate, staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and comfortable. Only downside is that the area can be a little noisy at night, but that happens in any big city.

The room was adequate. I requested 2 twin beds, which I got but they were an inch apart. The room was extremely small. But it was all we needed for a one night stay. I would stay again. I liked the location, walking distance to pubs, restaurants etc.

The check out staff were very helpful - and polished. I appreciated some of their kindness as I headed away from the hotel (thanks Diago). The location is good (essentially above a tube station), and while the hotel was busy my room was quiet and the bed comfortable. I slept well. The amenities were on the limited side (even for a budget hotel), but .... I would stay here again.

Some staff were helpful, others weren’t. Extra pillows were not provided after asking numerous times. Room was not cleaned one day, as cleaner could not return after we left the room. Hotel menu limited to mainly pizza and they ran out on Sunday @ 7pm. Location was good, easily access to public transport. Felt unsafe walking around at night

I was pleasantly impressed with this hotel. Great location for my stay within easy walking distance from tube station. Area felt safe and lots to offer being close to Spitalfields and Brick Lane. The reception area was modern and offered excellent facilities with bar/cafe and seating options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with a quick and easy check in. The room was very clean, basic but modern and I would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

It was right around the corner from the tube station which was perfect. It’s a ten minute walk from Spitalfields Market and there’s tons of restaurants close by. It was also only a 20 minute walk from tower bridge and Tower of London which made the touring days easy. Great location. Staff is great. Definitely would stay here again

Proximity to 2 tubes stations is excellent, but the areas around the hotel entrance is pretty rough. We felt unsafe at night. Spitafields markets nearby. That’s a win! Rooms are small, beds hard, pillows hard. No bar fridges in rooms. Bathrooms are these weird plastic pods. Low roofed and steam up like mad.

The hotel itself was nice. The room was very small and the fan did not keep it cool so we had to sleep with the window open which made the soundproofing irrelevant. The immediate surrounding area was decent, but the walk through Whitechapel was unpleasant.

Lovely hotel, close to transport li ks & attractions. Clean, friendly & modern. Have given 3 stars as we had to adk for hand towels (only 1 bath towel each provided in room & 2 tea bags but staff readily supplied more. Also good variety for breakfast but food only luke warm. Ate in restaurant in evening but again although the food was nice, it was tepid to say the least!).
