I get it's a relatively cheap hotel, but so much of wrong. Some staff have a poor attitude to everything and dont want to be there or listen to guests. One evening member of staff excellent but didn't get his name. He should be single out for some praise Food is poor quality - except breakfast which was superb. No one understands the conceit of starter and main. Later arrives as you're eating your (limited choice) of starter! Careful touching the irons - there's an ironing room, not one brought to your room - they leak everywhere and spit limescale crud on your clothes if you try to use steam. Saving grace is cost and location

For a hotel that doesn’t have too much to offer we couldn’t even have a drink in the dining/lobby. We went to Paris Eiffel and it was night and day. We could eat in lobby with no issues plus all the staff was excellent. I won’t even speak about the room which was not clean daily. Nothing but excuses. I will never stay at this property AGAIN

Ideal location for the Stratford-Westfield shopping centre, great transport links. Room was clean with all that was needed for an overnight stay. No on site parking, but parking available in Morrisons car park (5min walk away). £20 for 24hrs, via the parking app.

The free drink was rly good and appreciated. We were given a token for free drinks when we arrived and they were very good when we had them. We went out for a meal and came back and ordered hot chocolate and icecream. They didnt have the icecream so we ordered the chocolate fondant. We had to wait 40 mins so i spoke to the bar. They bought the fondants out completely uncooked and without the ice cream and getting a refund was dificult. The breakfast was ok but sadly there was only orange squash and not orange juice, and the waffle machine was not set up properly so it was very dificult to make waffles.

This hotel is noisy even with the complimentary ear phones. The windows do not drown out the noise and the road is busy until 3.30am with sirens regularly going off. There was no parking nearby and no where to park outside the hotel to drop off bags.

The room was ok, but the bathroom door was broken, off the hinges so the door wouldn’t closed. Room was cold, turned the heater on but felt like it was the A/C. Old iron, water leaking in the ironing room.

Room was ok apart from the sockets by bedside wouldn't charge my phone. Staff that were there were courteous even though they were run off their feet Sunday night. Trying to serve behind the bar and serve tables food at same time.

The whole hotel is very musty and the air is thick which makes it hard to breathe. My room smelt really bad but I was able to get a fan and some air freshener from reception which helped. There doesn’t seem to be any windows that open which doesn’t help. Reception staff were nice enough but housekeeping look like they’ve had their souls removed.

There was no definable check in desk to start with, staff uniforms where poor so not sure if the were customers or not, information about the hotel and its services were poor. The room was clean the bathroom had a musty damp smell. Breakfast was not well presented food got cold very quickly sausages were under cooked toaster was slow. On a positive the coffee maker was easy to use and tasted great

Room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Found it to be quite a quiet location with very little to no outside noise. The staff were helpful and polite. Checking in and out were both very easy. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from Stratford station and the Westfield shopping centre so has excellent connections.

The hallway smells as if something had died, I informed the staff no one did anything. My room was never cleaned from the staff, I paid for breakfast that I was told that I couldn’t even eat because the receptionist said she didn’t see it on file even though I had a receipt. When you see this hotel runnnnn.

The room was noisy, the bathroom sliding door was hanging off, the curtain was hanging off the rail. It was grubby and not enough towels. No hand towel, just bath towel. We ran out of toilet roll, only half a roll for our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of check in and with the bedroom, it was above our expectations. Quite noisy as we were on the street front. We took the stairs as we were on the first floor and noticed that the stairwell was not cleaned during our stay, which was not really an issue but gives an insight into management.

Reception and eating area nice decor. Breakfast ok if you’re down before 9. Area of lifts and stairs is really grubby and run down. The room is small. Hairdryer in room. Towels. Basic coffee sachets and a kettle with a short lead. Lack of sockets so extension socket on the desk. Good hot shower but bathroom is barely one step up from a portaloo. I’ve used nicer ones at camping sites. Air con didn’t work. It was a basic old fashioned switch so I’m not surprised. We had to leave the window open. Noise from the back of Morrisons. The beds were AWFUL. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and can’t remember ever waking up in so much pain due to a very poor mattress. It’s not a proper mattress and has a very thin topper. uncomfortable sleep and hip pain next day. I am normally fit and well. We reluctantly booked another hotel for our final night due to the discomfort, losing the £123 paid for this dump. The new hotel is far superior with a stunning room and incredible facilities, much better location and only £36 more for the night.

I enjoyed my stay here. Location is great and the room was very pleasent with modern decor. Not so big but ok. Good large flat tv and kettle with actual milk ! It was hot though and the air-con did not blow out any cold air ! Also there was a problem with the sink plug which stuck down so i could not empty the sink bowl ! However i only stopped for one night so managed. Shower was good and the bed was very comfortable, i got a good nights sleep.

Hotel is very close to the train station, less than 10 minutes walk. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Rooms are comfortable with good facilities. Lots of shops nearby. Stayed there when I was going to ABBA Voyage.

I went with my daughter to a concert. I ordered a twin bed. Eventually got through to the reception to be served. Got the keys from a male member. Turned out it was a double bed. Went down and asked for a twin. Then got a new key, he was not appologic. He gave us another double room key. I gave up as i didnt fancy facing him again. So had to share a double bed with my daughter. Very rude member of staff. If he hated his job he should leave than carry on inflecting his unprofessonal attitude and incompetence to the guess. Never use the hotel again.

They charged £20 extra on top of my booking charges stating that I am checking in early , when I checked in using there website it did not ask for any money . It was very bad experience.

We saw the funny side of being given a key to a room that already had guests in there when we walked in ( very embarrassing and awkward) Staff quickly dealt with it and we settled in for a gig we were attending ( my brother and I ) We were only in the room to sleep which is where the issue was discovered - the beds in this hotel are AWFUL, no air con and when I asked for a fan I got a rather short annoyed response about not having any. So after a long gig we couldn’t sleep - at all … which made the commute home horrible. IBIS OWNERS- invest in some QUALITY bedding - stop using stupidly thin memory foam mattress toppers and buy REAL mattresses for your paying guests. ###SEE PREMIER INN FOR DETAILS ABOUT WHY NASTY BEDS ARE A HUGE TURN OFF FOR GUESTS ### Lastly ( sigh) the breakfast buffet looked great but tasted terrible - dry leathery bacon cooked night before, scrambled eggs made from (as far as we could tell cat litter ) fruit used in the fruit salad wasn’t ripe so was totally tasteless Just a really uncomfortable, poor experience unfortunately- staff were okay but didn’t go above and beyond for anything in terms of fixing issues- especially with the fan issue and temp in the rooms. We shall revert back to Premier Inn as guaranteed a good nights sleep at least
We saw the funny side of being given a key to a room that already had guests in there when we walked in ( very embarrassing and awkward) Staff quickly dealt with it and we settled in for a gig we were attending ( my brother and I ) We were only in the room to sleep which is where the issue was discovered - the beds in this hotel are AWFUL, no air con and when I asked for a fan I got a rather short annoyed response about not having any. So after a long gig we couldn’t sleep - at all … which made the commute home horrible. IBIS OWNERS- invest in some QUALITY bedding - stop using stupidly thin memory foam mattress toppers and buy REAL mattresses for your paying guests. ###SEE PREMIER INN FOR DETAILS ABOUT WHY NASTY BEDS ARE A HUGE TURN OFF FOR GUESTS ### Lastly ( sigh) the breakfast buffet looked great but tasted terrible - dry leathery bacon cooked night before, scrambled eggs made from (as far as we could tell cat litter ) fruit used in the fruit salad wasn’t ripe so was totally tasteless Just a really uncomfortable, poor experience unfortunately- staff were okay but didn’t go above and beyond for anything in terms of fixing issues- especially with the fan issue and temp in the rooms. We shall revert back to Premier Inn as guaranteed a good nights sleep at least

I had a very nice stay at Ibis Stratford. The staff on reception were very nice and welcoming. My room was clean and had everything I needed. It was a nice comfortable bed. It was quiet . Only when I opened the window, did I hear the trucks driving into the Morrisons car park. With the window shut there is no noise at all. The hotel is very close to the Cart and Horses pub. So the Ibis is ideal for anyone who wants to see a band , but doesn't want to travel home late from a gig. Also Maryland station is less than 10 minutes walk away. I will happily stay at the Ibis again and highly recommend it . Thank you.

Pros: Extremely convenient to Underground and busses. The actual hotel inside was very clean and well kempt. Cons: Area is very unsafe, dirty, and rife with homeless. Someone literally left a #2 on the sidewalk across the street, and homeless are camped in every corner, nook, and cranny. There was sputum literally all over the side walk, and people were camped outside of the station asking for money.

Room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Found it to be quite a quiet location with very little to no outside noise. The staff were helpful and polite. Checking in and out were both very easy. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from Stratford station and the Westfield shopping centre so has excellent connections.

I get it's a relatively cheap hotel, but so much of wrong. Some staff have a poor attitude to everything and dont want to be there or listen to guests. One evening member of staff excellent but didn't get his name. He should be single out for some praise Food is poor quality - except breakfast which was superb. No one understands the conceit of starter and main. Later arrives as you're eating your (limited choice) of starter! Careful touching the irons - there's an ironing room, not one brought to your room - they leak everywhere and spit limescale crud on your clothes if you try to use steam. Saving grace is cost and location

There was no definable check in desk to start with, staff uniforms where poor so not sure if the were customers or not, information about the hotel and its services were poor. The room was clean the bathroom had a musty damp smell. Breakfast was not well presented food got cold very quickly sausages were under cooked toaster was slow. On a positive the coffee maker was easy to use and tasted great
