Outstanding and friendly staff everywhere. Special thanks to Antonio at the Door and Richard in Engineering. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Great value, and I have spent many weeks in London. I used amenities, fitness center, bar and restaurant. I really felt like a welcome guest here. One of the best locations in London.

It was perfect in every way. The staff was so friendly and professional. They were quick to respond and even anticipate our needs. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s obvious they care about detail and the atmosphere they’ve created for guest is lovely. We looked forward to coming back at the end of the day for drinks at the Coral Bar or the Bloomsbury Club. We would have gone there for drinks even if we weren’t staying there. I’ll never stay at any other hotel in London.

It’s convenient and the staff are good. Classic room with a King bed is completely fine. The mattress is a bit soft if you prefer a hard mattress (which I do) but acceptable. There is milk in the room. The Coral room is mostly people having cocktails and but the bar staff are great and were quite happy to make us a cup of tea. Which if you don’t like the music you can drink in a pleasant room opposite reception that almost nobody seems to use.

Honestly, was taken back by just how attentive the staff where. It stood out so much, we spoke about it alot. Coming from `Dubai, were service level is high, its normally hard to feel it matched. But every member of staff here honestly were amazing. I wouldn't even say they went above and beyond, because that sounds like effort, although they did, it all seemed natural and unforced. They would greet us, no matter what time of the day, if they saw us around the hotel, asking how we were. They helped me sort things for my wife's birthday, and didnt't just have a porter knock and drop things off, staff turned up with a huge smile on their face and a proper conversation, wishing her a happy birthday. Honestly, every little bit was just more than we would expect. The cocktail bar was lovely, the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable The staff who would greet you at the front, where there most down to earth, and helpful guys. From luggage sorting, greeting, to taxi sorting. I honestly could go on and on- but we have been super super impressed, would highly recommend, and the location is bang on the main high street to access anything you may also need.

We could not have been more pleased with the staff and very personal care we were provided. We were recommended by friends and locals and delivered on everything - so this is more than promoted review. Gym was EXCEPTIONAL. Front desk delightful. Only consideration to add for travelers, it’s in the stream of tourists….often felt a salmon swimming upstream in the adjacent blocks. But this hotel we WILL return to often.

Excellent staff and beautiful property. The design was exquisite— especially the Coral Room. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the city. I was surprised on how quiet the room was given the hotel location. It was tucked into a private drive — which helps with street noise.

The hotel was sparklingly clean and the staff was very kind. I had an absolutely lovely visit. The room was on the smaller side, but since I was staying by myself, that did not bother me (if I had stayed there with my husband, it would have felt a bit crowded). Transportation-wise, it’s very convenient since it’s a step away from a subway station, but there weren’t too many options for breakfast in the area, so I ended up eating at the hotel. All in all, one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in London and I will be back.

I appreciated the style of the building and the staff were friendly. The dining experience was quite pleasant. Unfortunately, I had issues with the room. It was nothing special and awkwardly laid out, but the real issue was a rather alarming stain I discovered after staying the first night. Staff responded quickly and moved me to another room, but my stay was unfortunately tainted, to say the least, by the experience. I would have appreciated further recompense for the disturbance. But other than that, the stay was fine, the bed was comfortable, the lounge and restaurants were pretty, and the area was walkable and close to trains. I had done a lot of research and was very excited to stay here as a special splurge for my birthday and was just very uncomfortable after that discovery.

The Bloomsbury still embodies that pampered feel. Turn down service at night with chocolates was so great. The room was always clean and orderly, the staff are fantastic, friendly and efficient, and it is clear that each member of their team takes pride in their roles. I really can’t recommend this hotel enough.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was maintained to a high standard and spotlessly clean with a classically modern decor. The room facilities were excellent with a coffee machine and kettle (for tea lovers). The evening turndown with slippers placed perfectly was a lovely touch. I will be back. The hotel was very central for the theatre/ Oxford Street or Mayfair.

The room was very cramped compared to images on Expedia. Didn’t look at all like we were led to expect. The staff left a plate of mouldy fruit on the desk the entire trip. Bathroom smelled mildly of sewage. Windows looked out at a wall.

The hotel was very disappointing.. There was a previous guest’s room key laid out and a note to a different guest was left on the desk. Previously used slippers were by the bed.. We got a larger room and was still quite tiny

The Bloomsbury is a good hotel located close to the British Museum and within walking distance of the National Gallery and other cultural attractions. It’s also close to theatres and the shops of Oxford Street. It has recently been renovated and is in excellent condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. I only stayed for one night but would be concerned about noise from neighbouring rooms if I was staying longer and had noisy neighbours.

Superb experience from start to finish. The hotel is in an ideal location for shopping as it’s only a few minutes to Oxford Street. It’s fairly quiet so you’re not disturbed. It’s stylishly decorated & furnished & the bar was beautiful. Our room was quite small so I’d go for a deluxe option next time, but I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were all exceptional. Our only complaint is the floors in our room were LOUD. The wood under the carpet creaked loudly with every single step which would wake anyone trying to sleep.

Front desk staff and door staff were very nice. I was excited to stay here as I had had drinks in the coral room a few years back and thought it was lovely. I found the room very small and it was right right next to the elevator so all night I could hear the elevator up and down. I had booked a standard room and it was over 295 pounds which was about $350 US dollars. I was expecting a little bit more of a standard for that price. The hotel is having work done so the entrance is not that appealing and the area around it has become not as nice as I remember. If you only stay in the hotel dining you might have a better experience. All in all I felt the price I paid was not what I got in terms of a room.

I'd describe the room as cozy but crowded with an oversized bed that dwarfed a poorly placed tiny club chair. The luggage rack was in a very inconvenient location as well...quite far from the closet. The tiny bathroom was made most awkward by a ridiculously narrow tub that you need to step up into, and a toilet poorly fitted behind the bathroom door. A lovely tea set up was included, but hid behind a closet door that made it challenging to access and move to the desk for use (must clear a spot for it in case you had been doing work at the desk). Room doors are very close together in narrow hallways, and the walls are paper-thin, so unfortunately, you learn more about your neighbors than you would care to making me loath video calls even more than I already do. And the last bit of annoyance to report is that the duvet is much too heavy for a room that is not drafty or damp. All that aside, the staff is amazing, as is the location. The hotel has some truly beautiful spaces to dine and enjoy a cocktail. I would risk another stay because all things considered, I still enjoyed myself.

I stayed at The Bloomsbury in April 2024. I rebooked this hotel out of hundreds in London for my latest trip this August. Last year, I booked what they advertise as a Cozy room. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a Classic Queen which was quite nice. This year, I opted to upgrade to what they advertise as a Deluxe Queen. When I arrived, and was shown to my room, I noticed that it was an attic, Cozy Room. I complained to the front desk and the woman working the desk could not explain the room difference and I asked to speak to the manager. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a Classic Queen which was quite nice. This year, I opted to upgrade to what they advertise as a Deluxe Queen. When I arrived, and was shown to my room, I noticed that it was an attic, Cozy Room. I complained to the front desk and the woman working the desk could not explain the room difference and I asked to speak to the manager. I pointed out to hotel staff and was assured the charges would be removed. They were not removed. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Honestly, was taken back by just how attentive the staff where. It stood out so much, we spoke about it alot. Coming from `Dubai, were service level is high, its normally hard to feel it matched. But every member of staff here honestly were amazing. I wouldn't even say they went above and beyond, because that sounds like effort, although they did, it all seemed natural and unforced. They would greet us, no matter what time of the day, if they saw us around the hotel, asking how we were. They helped me sort things for my wife's birthday, and didnt't just have a porter knock and drop things off, staff turned up with a huge smile on their face and a proper conversation, wishing her a happy birthday. Honestly, every little bit was just more than we would expect. My stay in May was my third time at The Bloomsbury. It's a lovely, comfortable hotel in a great location. But the best part is the staff, who are all helpful, friendly, and very accessible. I have to give special call-out to the staff in the breakfast room. They are, to a person, terrific! And, the coffee served is the best. It's a great way to start your day in London!

The Bloomsbury is a good hotel located close to the British Museum and within walking distance of the National Gallery and other cultural attractions. It’s also close to theatres and the shops of Oxford Street. It has recently been renovated and is in excellent condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. I only stayed for one night but would be concerned about noise from neighbouring rooms if I was staying longer and had noisy neighbours.

One of the best hotel stays ever! The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and really made you feel important. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We especially loved the Coral Room. The beds were very good! Breakfast was great, cocktails were great in the Coral Room and the Bloomsbury Club. Dinner was excellent at Dalloway Terrace. I miss it already. The location was close to the Underground and bus stop but many attractions are very walkable. I miss it already!

The location was exceptional- close to a well-connected Tube station and close to some great dining options. The property itself was fantastic as well-- the staff was kind, the room was well-appointed and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I think the location lets this hotel down. The entrance is behind the dominion theatre and so you effectively enter via a side street. I think it is over priced for the location and experience.

The Bloomsbury as a terrific hotel in the centre of London. We stayed overnight and plan to do so again. The rooms are small (you can upgrade!!) but beautifully appointed, clean and with everything you need. The staff were exceptional - helpful and treated us like royalty. We ate at the Dalloway which served us a mouthwatering brunch, again with exceptional service. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Incredible location, wonderful staff—every single employee we encountered seemed to love his/her job and seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as perfect as possible. One suggestion: get an a la carte menu for the breakfast, not everyone wants the complete meal and shouldn’t have to pay for it.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Very nice staff, lovely rooms. ONLY complaint was lighting. Very hard to put on makeup - bring a portable light with you! Both onsite restaurants and room service were good. Expensive, but good!

We found this hotel to be great for the price. The room was decently sized, much bigger than others we’d seen available in London, and very clean and had all the amentities you’d need. We especially loved the jazz bar that was a great night cap for the evenings.

Our stay was wonderful in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, light and well air conditioned in the middle of a heat wave, thoughtfully equipped with every amenity one could wish for, the bed very comfortable, even a makeup table and chair in the spacious bathroom. The hotel has real personality deriving from its history including a library, the Coral bar which is a great meeting spot, meeting rooms etc. Itfeels intimate without being intrusive and the staff is excellent, warm and enthusiastic. Finally, it is a block from the incomparable British Museum.
