London Marriott Hotel Kensington

Hotel is decent... No late night bar. Staff a little slow!

Hotel states parking available, however there are only about 15 spaces and the car park is not suited to large 4x4s (very tight).

My stay at the Marriott Kensington was truly enjoyable and made my London Marathon experience and my birthday amazing. Every member of the staff took pride in their work, evident in their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. From check-in to departure, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The breakfast offered a wonderful variety of good and healthy options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. It was a great way to start each day of my stay. My room was perfect, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Housekeeping was efficient and attentive; whenever I requested a room refresh, they exceeded my expectations. The room was also conducive to work, with excellent Wi-Fi and a quiet atmosphere that allowed me to work with ease during my stay. While the Executive Lounge provided a pleasant atmosphere, I found that the food options could be improved to match the high standard set by the rest of the hotel's amenities. The location was ideal for exploring both inner London and its outskirts. With convenient access to multiple key locations, getting around the city was effortless. Overall, the Marriott Kensington provided a delightful experience, making my trip to London even more special. Between the attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location, my London Marathon experience, birthday, and work commitments were all seamlessly supported. I would certainly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

Excellent service front of house, handy car park, great location

The hotel was great as was the location. The restaurant staff was terrible They closed an hour early from posted hours so we had to go elsewhere and spent the money there They also said there was a q code on tv but we could not find it

good hotel, good location. rooms are small like most London hotels. executive lounge is very pleasant, good breakfasts and evening appies, ( you can actually have dinner there:))) very nice touch is that beer and wine is avalaible from 5.30-9.30, many guests very happy about that. Breakfast items like scrambled eggs and sausages tend to run out roughly twenty minutes before closing, and surprisingly, they don't replenish. Other than that and the room cost, very good.

A perfectly nice hotel and the staff were friendly but they didn’t set up a room for 2 guests and our request for robes, towels, water etc. for 2 was ignored. They tried to get us to pay for breakfast when it was included for exec rooms and the exec lounge was limited to times and the coffee machine was broken. Quite a walk from the tube though the noise of tube trains below is obvious on lower floors (we were on 2). Disappointing considering the cost.

Welcoming staff on reception. The hotel was letdown by the bar services in the evening. Long wait for service and poor selection of gin.

stayed at London Marriott Hotel Kensington for 6 days from 2/29/24-3/7/24. Hotel is in a great location. There’s a grocery store right across the street (Sainsbury), a laundromat right next to the grocery store, and countless places to eat and shop within walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely accommodating - every time I stepped off the elevator the front desk staff had a warm smile and a hello. Concierge was awesome! That said, the one negative I can speak of is the long time it took to get food while eating in the hotel restaurant when we first arrived (and the nachos were literally a bowl of chips with a tiny bit of cheese). They did attempt to make up for the slow service by offering a complimentary glass of wine. Overall, me and my daughters had a great stay at this hotel and would most definitely stay again.

Location great for underground and easy walking to museums and parks. Quieter area and limited parking available. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very enjoyable 😊

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and kind. The staff at the door especially Kadi were wonderful. Our room was fine. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

Room toilets were not clean.

Very comfortable stay, albeit short. Hotel staff helpful, noticeable welcome features; L’Occitane toiletries, perfect temperature (room), crisp sheets, comfortable bed, quiet position (not overlooking street), would recommend

We were “ upgraded” to a room on the 1 st floor because of king size bed. The room was very old, draw was missing on cupboard, bathroom very small and it was not cleaned properly. There were hairs on bathroom floor. We were at the end of the passage and there was a fishy smell in the passage leading to the bedroom. The breakfast had unhygienic atmosphere- the fruit was old, the omelette was average and the self service coffee machine kept overflowing and not attended to in time. The tables were not cleaned on time and we ended up eating the bread and cheese which felt safer. The experience was very disappointing for the price we paid and we will not be returning to this hotel.

They even offer fresh made omelets, and poached eggs. They also offered gluten free options as well as gluten free bread. The room was clean and spacious, and housekeeping was second to none. The hotel was a short walk from Earls court underground (subway) station. The staff were friendly, courteous, and took care of our every whim. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you like the quieter areas to stay in, and if you want to be treated right! I give this hotel two thumbs 👍👍 way up.

We had a great stay at the Marriot Kensington. The location was great and the facility was clean and new. In addition, the staff were all outstanding. Of special note was Ash the concierge. He helped us find all the great things to do while in town and with many other questions. He helped make this one of our best vacations.

Service is excellent, room is comfortable. However there is no wardrobe in the room and water pressure is quite weak. There are hangers on the wall but not covered. Ok for a short trip. There is also a coin laundry and supermarket across the street. Tube station is less than 10 mins walk. Location is very convenient.

Nice stay for a family, I found very interesting the lounge option which can allow you to chill out after a long walk in London. The room was quiet, the bathroom well renovated. Only drawback the windows that are old and allow cold and humidity to enter. We were freezing during the night.

The AC was not working correctly, even though it was turned all the way down it was still hot in the room.

From my arrival to departure this Hotel was amazing the staff were amazing a special thanks to the concierge he was polite and helpful. Upon arrival 8am I was hoping to drop off my suitcase but my room was ready so they checked me and and advised to have. Long awaited shower and rest. This is exactly what I needed and although I had to change rooms as they couldn’t turn the heater down but nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this you will not regret anything. Breakfast had a good layout not over the top and chef was happy to cool your order.

The kindness of the staff makes the hotel stand out. I was there with my sons, they let us have a late check out and looked after us.

Great hotel made even better with front desk staff. In particular Mia who was absolutely amazingly friendly and helpful during our family stay. Also breakfast staff was incredible in particular Leon who took care of our requests and food needs, diet restrictions. Great stay overall. But again, thank you Mia and Leon!

Located in Kensington a very liveable and fancy area. Near from bus and metro stations. The room is modern and clean although a little small for two people. O strongly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was always well stocked and had variety. Sainsbury across the street, Waitrose close as well as Starbucks, Pret, Chipotle, Nando’s and many other restaurants. Close to two tube stations - Gloucester Road and Earl’s Court. Can easily walk to Kensington Palace or Natural History Museum. Not far to South Kensington restaurants and tube station also. Loved that they gave me two bottles of water each day! Comfortable room and bed with good ac. Only negative was that the front desk wasn’t always very friendly.

Convenience to the city center and London undergorund

The location was very convenient, walkable to numerous incredible museums. The service was excellent and the room was very comfortable and nice.

Large room with comfy bed and pillows and nicely updated. Works well for longer stays. Great neighborhood and easy access to the tube.

This hotel is in a great location with rooms that are larger thank many other options in London. Beds are comfortable and great water pressure in the shower! Appreciate tge room service option too.
