Oliver Plaza Hotel

Excellent friendly staff & very clean. Entrance up the stairs a little tough for those of us with bad knees … although lift once inside is nice.

Fabulous hotel until the last morning when the lift was out of order and we had to haul our suitcase down from the 5th floor to the ground floor- very unfortunate but they did say they were working to repair it.

Typical tiny room, very well appointed, great shower/heated floor in bathroom. Excellent breakfast not included but terrific value. Easy travel by tube or bus into Victoria (bus our preferred choice to avoid crowds and steps). Only negative is very tall steps at front entry, 8” risers with no handrail a challenge for a 90 year old! Overall worked well for two nights in Town. Recommend

Great location (we came in from the M4 side so super easy to get to) and friendly staff. The rooms are small but not uncomfortable, and ideal for what we wanted. If travelling by car, there is parking available at a reasonable rate of £25. There are only 2 spaces so make sure to reserve, which we did :) Would 100% stay there again!

Lovely hotel.. No disabled access though for wheelchair uses. Very clean. Wasn't able to adjust air con as the room was too hoy. so asked at reception and they guy said he can do it remotely. When we returned after our night out still on same setting and still unable to adjust and you are unable to open the windows. Only 3 parking spaces and parking outside the hotel is permit parking only. Thankfully managed to reserve a parking space. Thought parking charge was a little excessive at £30 but would struggle without a space to park.. breakfast was very nice. It's just a shame there's no bar at the hotel. With all this said had a nice stay and was convenient for the venue we were visiting for evening.

Location is 10/10 Checkin/out is 10/10 Room# 502 is too small, AC makes noises when it's on and gets too cold at night due to a closet size space. Staffs are wonderful 10/10 There is drinking water in the lobby which is 10/10 feature.

Despite the location, the room is very small with very limited space to go around and handle luggage. There are also steps at the entrance, very inaccessible if you have heavy bags.

The elevator was out of order for almost three days and i was told to take my luggage to the 5th floor using stairs.

Staff is super friendly. Minutes away from train station which was handy. The room was clean and quiet during the nights. Only reason I gave 4/5 was that the room is carpeted. The carpets were stained and a bit dirty.

Oliver Plaza in the Earl's Court area of London was literally less than a 10 minute walk to the underground which was ideal as tourists. The staff at the hotel were beyond amazing and the cleanliness couldn't be faulted, the room and building was always pristine and fresh. I didn't pay for breakfast however the local takeaways such as Burger King and McDonald's did suffice. Would highly recommend and come again!

Once I checked into the room, I found hair on the bed and as a very clean person I felt very bad went down to the reception to talk with the lady and she first told me that the housekeeping is not around. Therefore, there’s nothing they can do but I insisted because I felt very uncomfortable couldn’t even lay on the bed. She then came to the room to try it and change the sheets her self. What made me even more uncomfortable is that when she was trying to change the sheets she took the blanket and was trying to put it on the floor for her to have more space to change the sheet. I was shocked! And I quickly told her no don’t do that! The floor was filthy looked like a carpet that hasn’t been changed in ages, wet from the dirty shoes from outside. And that’s where she wanted to put the blanket that I was supposed to use for the next four nights like I said I was shocked! This showed me how dirty they are, and that they don’t care about their guests hygiene. While booking the room I picked a double bedroom, and they give me a single bed. I tried to complain about that as well, but she told me that I was wrong while I wasn’t. And again the room was 1 m² there was barely space to put your luggage. I couldn’t breathe properly. I am very traumatized from my experience and I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. I have a picture of the hair on the bed that I would really love to share for people to see what they are doing there.

Cheap and cheerful! Wonderfully affordable for London. The rooms are small but we were there to explore so didn’t have a need for a large room. Spotlessly clean, very safe, very quiet, front desk staff were very helpful with our luggage - especially at the end of the trip when one of our suitcases broke! They were there with the duct tape to help us out. Super close to the tube, lots of options to eat nearby and just a lovely little stay overall.

Hotel was clean and comfortable having been recently refurbished to a very high standard of finish. Staff efficient and helpful. In a quiet street very close to Earls Court underground, so convenient location.

Wonderful! Cozy clean room. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. I will definitely stay here again, but I will request a regular size window next time.

Hotel is lovely but rooms are smaller than we're used to. I travelled with my teenage son, bathroom had a smoked glass sliding door which wasnt ideal.

Amazing stay, hotel is 2 min walk from the Earls Court tube station, our room was small but well appointed double, had tea& coffee facilities, small desk, TV, air con and very comfortable bed. All was very clean. Breakfast included was very tasty - full English and continental options, staff very friendly. There was option to leave the language for a day. Would stay again.

The location is excellent, just round the corner from Earls court tube station. The hotel reception area is small but check in was efficient. The room was small and ven although on the first floor the windows were at the ceiling height so you could only see a bit of sky and nothing else. The room was well laid out with sockets by the bed and one by a large mirror on the back of the door for drying hair. I would not like to stay here with anyone other than my husband. The shower door is a sliding frosted door and the area is so small it doesnt offer any privacy. The bed is also a double so not that big. The mattress was too hard for mine abd hubbys liking and we both had a bad back after 2 nights. It is for that reason I would not choose to stay here again. The hotel is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and nice and quiet.

Nice, clean property. Shower had good pressure but frosted door didn’t provide the most privacy. TV was very temperamental. Good location for what we needed in London.

Three night stay. Good points....clean, quiet location, good transport links, air con, nice shower and bathsheet towels. Why I wouldnt return? The small room size along with sloping ceilings on top floor plus absence of any shelf or cupboard to put things on in both bedroom and shower room, except for tiny bedside table which had the kettle on and narrow wardrobe with 1 high shelf. When we asked for something else we were told no other furniture was available. Yet the hotel photos show at least a shelf under the tv.

The staff were excellent and friendly, from the checkin with Nicola to the regular staff. They were easy to talk with and seemed very interested in the guests staying there.

Wonderful staff that were always willing to help make the stay just that extra bit better and in an ideal location - will definitely be looking to stay here again when we next find ourselves in London.

The staff welcomed me and treated me as family! My flight was so delayed I arrived in the middle if the night and they welcomed me with care. The next day, I needed a space to work before going to the sirport and again, they accommodated me in giving me access to a space where I could work in a quiet environment. I highly recommend this lovely hotel which is also extremely convenient just 2 blocks away from the tube and busses.

Despite having "Gold" Expedia status ("VIP Access"), I wasn't offered a room upgrade and didn't receive any other benefits. Also, the price was not as discounted as Expedia will have you believe. The hotel itself was superb. Whilst the single room is small, it is well designed with a spacious, modern bathroom. All fixtures and fittings worked normally and were clean. Room servicing was thorough and all staff were polite, efficient and welcoming. The location is just a few minutes' walk from Earls Court tube and there are plentiful restaurants, shops, bars and fast food outlets nearby. The area felt safe and was quiet. The only significant noise came from the occupant in the room above me who appeared to be taking their pet elephant for a walk.

Very friendly and efficient staff at check in - smooth process. The hotel is spotlessly clean from top to bottom and in a great location. Superb breakfast served by equally friendly staff. The rooms are ‘snug’ - as we expected - but super clean and comfortable. Highly recommended & will stay again.

Pros: Very convenient location. Room was newly renovated and clean. Hotel staff are very nice except one guy at the night shift. Cons: I didn't get hot water in my shower 2 nights out of 6. It was not happy experience but the real problem was when I reported the issue, the guy at front desk never be apologetic and didn't say sorry even once. Instead he kept giving excuse such as the building is very old and even complained that I reported the issue at late night (it was around 10pm) therefore no maintenance people are available. Isn't it normal to take shower before go to bed? When I notice some hotel facility is broken, shouldn't I report it right away? I was totally surprised as I never expected that reaction from the person in hospitality business. I was not demanding but just calmly reported the issue. Obviously I was not the only one who had the trouble at that night. He was getting tired of being blamed. But he cannot use it as the excuse to be that rude to the customer. It was not acceptable. It was really pity because all other staff are very nice and professional.

Excellent location near the tube. Was able to take the subway to and from the airport without having to change stations. There are many restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood as well as grocery stores. The front desk staff was always extremely friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Oliver Plaza and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is unbeatable, just a short walking distance from Earl's Court station. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Oliver Plaza for anyone visiting London.

It’s very convenient from Heathrow Airport. You simply take the Piccadilly Line to Earls Court. The hotel is just one street away - within easy walking distance. It’s a pretty street and very convenient to the tube.

Great hotel in a great area!

The hotel is at the heart of London, and it really offers great value and outstanding service. Recently refurbished thoughtfuly with a design toward comfort and convenience. Situated on the Piccadilly & District tube lines. The rooms are clean, you feel safe , the breakfast is delicious and the staff is super Friendly and courteous. I really recommend it.

Lovely Hotel within walking distance to Kensington, Knightsbridge and other locations. Easy access to the Tube if not up for walking. The hotel was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with very friendly accommodating staff. Breakfast was very good and in ample supply. It was a great base for us to visit the sights and would definitely stay again.

Well maintained property. Rooms were small but that was expected. Comfy beds. Breakfast staff were so attentive and kind. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice. Fruit, yogurts croissants and full English. They even made the toast for you. Just a short walk from the tube and high street where there were pubs and shops. Nice quiet street location. Very good location, close to transit and a nice walkable neighborhood. Easy check in and check out. Really appreciate that they were able to store my bags for a few hours after check out. The breakfast was very good, great value and it was a nice ambience. The room itself is small, tight even for two people once the luggage is in there, but it’s very clean and comfortable.

I really liked the Oliver Plaza Hotel. Although the hotel room was small, it was clean, the shower was great, I could adjust the temperature, and the lighting was good. Breakfast was only 10 pounds, and there were a lot of choices. I liked the fact that the hotel was clean and near Earl's Court. Thank you, Oliver Plaza Hotel, for a wonderful stay!

Lovely warm room, a little small but had everything we needed. Nice heated floor in bathroom. Very quiet nights sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options.
