Perfect location for all the attractions. Hop on and off stop was out our front door. Out theatre was 5 minutes walking. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace. At Covent Gardens full of great restaurants!!! Bar was fun. Pool nice. Staff so helpful. Our room was perfect!!!

My wife and I scoured Europe in 2 weeks for our anniversary, with London as our hub. After extensive research, we picked One Aldwich for our point of entry in London, as well as for our stay before travelling home, and we were so glad did! This hotel is a sensational facility with friendly and professional staff to match. The management left no stone unturned, in providing a luxurious and stylish experience. It feels like a new facility, with ultimate amenities. Even the cafe's and restaurant were exceptional. It's in an incredibly convenient location, easily accessing covent garden market, west end theatres and soho. They have this indoor pool and spa that, by itself, is worth the experience. The room was so comfy and deluxe that we decided to come back to the hotel for our return to London before heading home. They helped with great tickets to shows and attractions that are "must see" when in London. The entire facility was a "Wow!"...beautiful design, architecture and amenities. We especially appreciated the welcome gift of mini cupcakes, cherries & truffles:) The complimentary still water, snacks & drinks from the mini bar which were replaced every day. Overall, we highly recommend One Aldwych for its convenient location in the heart of Covent Garden. We were able to walk to all the wonderful restaurants in SoHo & enjoy easy access to all the big attractions in the West End: musicals, Big Ben Parliament Westminster Abbey, & Trafalgar Square.

We pulled up in two taxis with lots of luggage and no porter or doorman came out to help us. They just stood inside and watched us! The hotel plumbing is awful, when the bathtub drained it flooded the shower! It is also extremely noisy when you flush toilets and pipes make whining noises. There were only full toiletries in the shower, not next to the bath tub. Street noise is clearly heard in the rooms. Hotel staff called the room 3 times while the do not disturb light was on waking us up. Also, there is no hotel restaurant for two days of the week, just bar snacks. This should be a 4 star hotel, not 5. Stay elsewhere in London (Connaught, Claridges, Beaverbrook, Cadogan, etc etc), One Aldwych is poor value for money.

We went for a long birthday weekend and to see Christmas lights, and go to theater. One Aldwych was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The property is located in perfect walking distance for a lot of activities and is right in the theater district The property has been completely renovated and is beautiful. You won’t go wrong staying here.

Our stay at One Adwych was fantastic. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable and each detail was clearly well-planned. For example, each bedside table had UK, EU, and US outlets, so no need for chargers, the bathroom floor was heated, and the shower kept the previous temperature setting and didn't ever let water onto the bathroom floor (like so many hotel showers). The room was dead quiet despite being in the center of a busy intersection - no noise from the street or other rooms. The staff went above and beyond, including having our room ready several hours early so we could check-in right after our flight. Amazing hotel and well worth the money.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times for business travel and always had great experiences. This time, my husband and I were in London on a holiday for our friend’s wedding. We had a lovely suite, the service was exceptional, with complementary snacks and drinks in the room. We loved the in wall outlets supporting all different plugs - US, Europe and UK of course. Great location with Covent Garden around the corner and convenient to 3 different Tubes.

The hotel is relatively small and as such service was very personal. As Expedia Gold status members it was disappointing not to be offered a room upgrade without any explanation from the staff member checking us in as to why, even though the hotel didn’t appear to be full. However, the room we were allocated was nicely decorated but it was disappointingly small for a luxury hotel. In spite of this we did enjoy our stay, the hotel is in a great location, for theatres, restaurants and sight seeing. The staff were also very friendly. Would I choose this hotel the next time we visit London, probably not.

Absolutely outstanding service from every member staff. Clearly this hotel takes pride in customer service, the best we have ever experienced. The room size and attention to detail was very good, food and drinks in the restaurant and bar very high standard. Cant fault this hotel. We didn’t get to experience the spa, maybe next time.

Our stay at One Aldwych was exceptional from the moment before arrival until departure. They prepared our room early for us, as we arrived ahead of schedule. The room was tastefully decorated with soft colors, and the lighting and interior design were superb. The welcome sweets were also incredibly delicious. We are deeply grateful to the professional and hospitable staff for making our stay so comfortable. It was our first time in London, and this stay made it unforgettable. Thank you very much.

We had the most incredible stay at One Aldwych! The staff could not have been better, they went out of their way to ensure our daughter had the best birthday! Every staff member we encountered was amazing, we have already recommended the hotel to our friends. We will be back! 10/10!

We pulled up in two taxis with lots of luggage and no porter or doorman came out to help us. They just stood inside and watched us! The hotel plumbing is awful, when the bathtub drained it flooded the shower! It is also extremely noisy when you flush toilets and pipes make whining noises. There were only full toiletries in the shower, not next to the bath tub. Street noise is clearly heard in the rooms. Hotel staff called the room 3 times while the do not disturb light was on waking us up. Also, there is no hotel restaurant for two days of the week, just bar snacks. This should be a 4 star hotel, not 5. Stay elsewhere in London (Connaught, Claridges, Beaverbrook, Cadogan, etc etc), One Aldwych is poor value for money.

Perfect location for all the attractions. Hop on and off stop was out our front door. Out theatre was 5 minutes walking. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace. At Covent Gardens full of great restaurants!!! Bar was fun. Pool nice. Staff so helpful. Our room was perfect!!!

We had an amazing experience at One Aldwych. The hotel communication before and during our stay was excellent. It is a very comfortable hotel and as soon as we had a request, the staff responded quickly. The location of the hotel is perfect. Totally recommended. We will go back.

We went for a long birthday weekend and to see Christmas lights, and go to theater. One Aldwych was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The property is located in perfect walking distance for a lot of activities and is right in the theater district The property has been completely renovated and is beautiful. You won’t go wrong staying here.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times for business travel and always had great experiences. This time, my husband and I were in London on a holiday for our friend’s wedding. We had a lovely suite, the service was exceptional, with complementary snacks and drinks in the room. We loved the in wall outlets supporting all different plugs - US, Europe and UK of course. Great location with Covent Garden around the corner and convenient to 3 different Tubes.

The hotel was the perfect place for our Christmas stay in London. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was fantastic and atmosphere festive and lively. The room was just as we expected: spacious, clean and beautifully appointed.

Reception desk could not have been more helpful in finding a better room (more light, seating, and a bath) within the same category (when I pointed out that our room was a let down compared to the, ahem....aspirational photos shown on Hotels.com). Only slightly bad taste left in the mouth was from Breakfast. Unless you really can't be bothered to leave the hotel, go out! Pain au chocolate, bowl of bircher muesli, 4 coffees, one terrible quality vegetarian 'full english' thing, plus service, £77! Coffee was Costa-level, no better, Veggie thing awful. Go to Delauney a hop, skip and jump up the road. Noticed a clank or two from the plumbing (as another reviewer wrote somewhere), but it seemed to be from our room when we were using the taps - ie manageable, albeit perhaps not ideal given 5*/cost etc. But not a big deal for us.

Amazing stay at a wonderful hotel. Warmly decorated, well-appointed with many thoughtful touches (complimentary mini bar snacks, Dyson hair dryer, multi port in wall sockets, excellent turn down service, water all the time, etc.). All staff members were very friendly and I found room service to be really really quick (and the food was great). Great location for tourists with many tube options and restaurants nearby.
