A fabulous stay, great service and particularly good cocktails. Perfect location for dining, sight seeing, and shopping. Would definitely be back.

Beautiful boutique style hotel in a great area. Easily accessible by tube and in walking distance to nearest stations. Also in walking distance to an abundance of lovely restaurants. All staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Used the gym, it was small but well air conditioned and had a good selection of free weights, cardio and a weight machine. Would highly recommend and definitely return

Booked a night here as we were attending a gig at the Royal Albert Hall - so perfect location for that. The hotel is lovely - extremely welcoming and informative at reception. The room was just as expected with tea/coffee (Nespresso machine) facilities and a lovely bowl of fresh fruit brought to our room as a welcome. We had delicious cocktails in the ESQ bar downstairs before we went out - a super, chilled place to meet up with our friends. The bed was so comfortable - felt luxurious and spelt really well. Breakfast was really good and although busy, staff were attentive and really helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Incredible location to the Natural History museum, Science Museum and Kensington Gardens. Loads of great little shops and restaurants 2-5 min away. And if one wants to take the Hop on Hop of bus it’s very close. Subway is also located very close which makes the hotel excellent for family, business as well as for someone traveling private. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and really to give you the insides and local spots if that’s what you desire. Furthermore, if you like to keep fit the hotel offers a little gym with all your basics and if you, like me, like an early morning run, the hotel is located 1 km away from Kensington gardes. I ran around the park and back and the loop was nearly 7km. A perfect little run before a day on the town. If you would like a longer run then keep going to Hyde park with is connected to Kensington Gardens.

Outstanding courteous service, nice breakfast & chill bar.

Travelling solo so I booked a cosy double room. This was indeed small but was fine for one person. The bathroom again very small but sufficient for just me. Room and bathroom always cleaned well when required. Communal spaces in the hotel were excellent. The ESQ bar was a very pleasant place to stop for a drink and service very good. Front desk had lovely welcoming staff. The gym was small but adequate for what I needed four times over the week. Overall I would absolutely stay here again. It was very quiet overnight and a very convenient location close to the tube and many local eateries.

Clean room, great bar. Bed a little hard as were the pillows - too high and too hard. Overall a nice stay though, just didn’t sleep well because of the uncomfortable pillows

Staff was exceptional. Very helpful and well organized. Breakfast was very good and the Latte was so delicious! The morning breakfast servers were very friendly and attentive. Hotel was clean, with beautiful appointments, afternoon High Tea, and located very well for restaurants, pubs, museums, and more! Definitely staying here again.

I am a Hilton Honors member so I have come to expect exceptional service from Hilton and Hilton affiliates. My stay at this hotel was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The staff are professional as expected but what was above and beyond the usual experience is how warm and welcoming they were. I was greeted outside by a bellhop who assisted me from my black car with my luggage. The property is fabulous outside, and stands out in the elegant neighborhood of South Kensington. Inside is beautifully outfitted and pristine with updated amenities. The rooms are quite small but clean and well equipped with basic needs. The kettles are clean. The beds are comfortable. There are no microwaves. The menu is simple and the food and food service staff are helpful. Their tearoom, Botanica, is beautiful. The tea service is very affordable (under 50 GBP without champagne) in comparison to other hotels/tea rooms in the area. They do hold an incidental charge on your card (50 GBP/night) which is standard. Charges to your room are deducted from this hold and you are returned the difference after checking out. South Kensington is considered 'posh' and for good reason. There are countless highly rated restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. The Natural History Museum is a very short distance away (book your ticket online to avoid lines). This is where I will be staying when I return to London.

Room 121 - smelt of drains (diffuser in bathroom indicates they are aware that it smells). Windows blocked, with no view, so feels like a cell. Only dripping cold water from taps. Shame as our previous stay was good.

We had a nice time at this hotel, we liked the location and front desk staff (they were friendly and assisted us with our luggage to and front the taxi and to our room). It was clean to a certain degree but the outside of the property was dirty (garbage flying around but the sidewalk). We left our extra trash from shopping (empty harrod's shopping bags etc.) outside of our room in the hallway and it took them 2 days to grab it. To pay almost 210 per night and not have this taken immediately especially since we didn't require room service everyday is crazy BUT the biggest let down was breakfast ending early (it ends at 10:30am local time everyday), unacceptable, most travelers sleep in while on holiday and most high end hotels know this and this is why breakfast typically ends around 11:30 maybe even Noon; ending breakfast at 10:30am everyday is not realistic. The hotel is losing business because we had to then walk to a local cafe and spend money there, it was inconvenient and not what we wanted, the wait was longer there and so we returned to our room later and checked out at an unideal time seeing as how we needed to head to the airport and caught our flight back home. Note we stayed for only 3 nights so it would've been great to experience dining at the hotel atleast once. This is our second time staying at this hotel, the first time was great (we didn't dine-in the first time, we instead called up for tea and snacks and sandwiches later in the evening which was AMAZING).

Although a smaller room then I’m used to, I had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back! Everything was walkable distance and the room is extremely clean. Breakfast was quite lovely with various options. The hotel overall is beautiful inside and outside. I walked the majority of the time during my stay but did take the train sometimes, which is also within an easy walkable distance from the hotel. Would recommend

We were surprised to find the room had no window. It felt a little cell like. The standard of the room however was fine. The bathroom extras such as soap had not been replenished. However, the staff were friendly. The hotel bar was very smart and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location for the Royal Albert Hall.

Not a 5 star property. The location is excellent however everything else lacks lustre. The beds are extremely uncomfortable claiming to all be memory foam however these beds are not, this is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced in a hotel let alone a 5 star hotel, pillows are clumpy and the up keep of the room is not 5 star. Tiles broken in the bathroom, shower head broken , bar fridge cabinet broken.

Great location and beautiful lobby, but have a hard time seeing myself staying there again. Room had a hidden mold smell. Very noisy AC, that started to sound even if it was turned off and hade us waking up 2h before alarm. Super hard bed where you could feel the springs. No hand sanitizer available in the lobby or restaurant during breakfast, only option was to go to the bathroom that was located on another floor.

The bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. You could feel every single spring, every time one of us moved, the whole mattress (which is also only on a wooden board instead of a slatted frame)) and the mattress also creaked like a hard plastic bag. The window was also a fake. After we changed rooms, the bed was only marginally more comfortable and again there was only a fake window. The breakfast is ok and the staff is sometimes friendly and sometimes just dutiful. Furthermore, the bathroom is tiny and the AC doesn’t work well. Far too expensive for what you get, we will not come back.

Pros: Stunning area of London & beautiful decor and dining areas. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Cons: If you have accessibility issues, the standard rooms are located at the end of a labyrinth of hallways and stairs- this is just the nature of the building. For the same reason, if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs or blast a sound machine at night- you can hear quite a bit from the hallway and from the exterior. The standard room is tight- even for carry-ons. We expected small, but this surprised us.

The room was tiny and dark and disappointing after seeing the pictures on the website. There was scaffolding all over the outside. The room was clean but damaged furniture and marks on walls. The staff were ok but a little impatient with us at reception.

Hotel was beautiful, loved our greeting and service at check in. We arrived early and left our bags , which were delivered to our room. The room was lovely and cool, in contrast to the 30 degree heat outside. We retired to the room at 10pm. There was some noise and loud music, until after midnight. Unfortunately, the scraping of chairs from a dining area, disturbed us for some time.....5 hours sleep, woken again at 6am by scraping chairs and heavy base music nearby. Sadly, our well needed rest, following a long day walking around the city, didn't happen.

The staff were all unfailingly helpful and friendly. The entrance and lobby are very welcoming-lovely floral arrangements. Free water was supplied daily and they even provided free slippers in the room. The hotel room was quite quiet-you couldn’t hear any noise from the surrounding rooms either. The restaurant breakfast buffet was amazing-loads of choices both hot and cold. Room service was excellent too. I had a small issue with the air conditioning unit during my stay and it was attended to and fixed within about 20 minutes by two cheerful and friendly staff members. I would highly recommend staying here. Lots of nearby places to eat-pubs/restaurants/take aways. All in all a marvellous experience. Kudos to the staff.

The superior queen room we had was at the end of a very long dark corridor, the room was very small had no natural light was very hot despite us turning the thermostat down to 17, felt like there was no air in there. The bed was hard and you can feel and hear the springs inside moving. After this experience I definitely wouldn’t stay here again despite the rest of the hotel being quite pleasant and would not recommend these dark small rooms to anyone.

Room was a good size for central London, but the mattress was hard and the air con was noisy and in need of servicing. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful, location was convenient and possibly a little overpriced given some of the issues we had trying to sleep.

The staff at the front desk are very rude. The woman that greeted us didn’t listen when I told her my name three times and then made me show her ID because she didn’t think I was the person that made the booking despite showing her the confirmation on my phone. She laughed and asked me if my name was my real name which offended me and she generally wasn’t very helpful. The rooms are noisy and we could hear a lot of noise from the surrounding rooms all night which disturbed our sleep. The other staff were nice. The man that helped us put our luggage in a taxi to leave was lovely.

When I booked the hotel 2 months before my trip, I had emailed the property and asked if I can do early check in to which they told me yes. Once I arrived, they kept promising me my room will be ready. I waited 4 hours to check into my room and I only had my room ready by normal check in time. I missed a tour I had booked because of these false promises. The room I then got was the wrong room. They gave me a tiny room with a tiny bathroom and shower which did not even have a door on the shower which was not the room I had paid for. When I went back down to the front desk, the lady was extremely rude to me and was lying in my face that she gave me the correct room. When I showed her the pictures of the room I was supposed to get she did not even recognize the rooms for the hotel website. She then proceeded to tell me that the room I paid for is not available until Friday of that week when I checked in on Monday. I had to get Expedia involved and they had to contact the manger and then we got the correct room. This hotel has extremely poor hospitality. When we were checking out, I asked if someone can help bring our luggage down because we had a car coming at a certain time. No one came to help us with our luggages. The hotel is in a great area but overall would not recommend this hotel because of the way I was treated and the headache I had to go through to get the room I had paid for.

I never write bad reviews- but have to for this Hilton. I’ve been a Hilton member for years. At check-in the desk staff obviously didn’t know the room layout and gave me the key to the twin room. As the owner of my own company, I booked and paid for two adjoining rooms for my work trip. The desk help gave the queen room to my employee without telling us which key was to which room. This was a horrible mistake on her part. She obviously had no clue as to the room layout or even to say, “Theses are two adjoining rooms: a queen and two twins. Who wants which room?” I was brought to the shoebox of a twin room, unaware that my manager, who works for me and did not pay for the trip, had the larger room. The “cozy” shoebox of a room had a round table and chair against the window, which had me either opening the adjoining door or blocking the doors to the wardrobe. There was no space to open the luggage rack so my suitcase went on the second twin bed. The beds were hard. I had booked a feather-free room and there were feather pillows and blankets in both rooms upon our arrival. The bar staff acted as if we were doing them a favor eating and drinking there. The breakfast buffet was less than par, there were no serving utensils for any of the pastries and only bowls at that station. My staff and I stayed 3 nights and the room coffee wasn’t refilled with all 4 coffee options. The front desk often just had only one staff member with no concierge on duty. I won’t return.

We absolutely lived the hotel, even the decor was interesting. Our room was smallish but well appointed and bath well done with large glass shower. Their staff was outstanding especially their concierge staff, very helpful and went the extra mile to service.

Our stay was made so pleasant by our concierge Sajjad he took care of everything. We had no car and we needed the car to take us around and he made it all the reservations and made it so simple..

Great location in Kensignton area. Wakable to two train (underground) stations. Very quiet with cute stores, restaurants and bakeries. The service at the hotel is very good and the staff is very kind. Totally recomend this hotel.

Great location

We were able to walk to Kensington Palace and Gardens and The Orangery as well as the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum.

This hotel is in a fabulous location only 5 minutes walk away from the tube station giving you access to all of London. Museums and the Royal Albert Hall are also nearby. Plenty of restaurants and places to eat around the hotel as well as two mini supermarkets should you want anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel in good location. We walked a few blocks to the Victoria&Albert museum and the Natural History museum. Next day a longer walk to the British museum past Buckingham Palace and Constitution Hill & Mall. Took the tube back to South Kensington station a few blocks from the hotel. That tube would take me directly to Heathrow if I wanted. Plenty of Pubs and pastry shops nearby but best avoid the hotel bar. £33 for two drinks - really?

6 minute walk tot he Tube. Breakfast was daily with the same options but there was a variety to choose from. Laundry service was a little over priced but had same day service.

Disappointed in the issue I had at breakfast. The miscommunication from reception to the restaurant was multiple and annoying. The breakfast was also dreadful

The Hilton Curio hotel at 100 Queens Gate is a fabulous hotel. It’s upscale and lives up to that reputation. The staff were wonderful, quick to help with luggage or advice. The concierge made recommended some local restaurants and even made the reservation for us. The hotel is very well kept and beautiful. The rooms are small, as are the hallways, but that has been our experience at any hotel in a large city. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location is close to downtown, it was easy to get to the sights we wanted to visit. The breakfast is hearty and well worth the extra cost. 100% recommend 100 Queens Gate.

Pros: Ideal location and cleanliness of room. Cons: Exceptionally small room, very poor soundproofing, terrible breakfast service and overpriced.
