We arrived at the hotel to check in to be told we needed photo id, which we didn’t have. As where is it made clear on the original email or the online checkin. The member of staff told us it is standard in the UK. We stayed at two other hotel brands in the last two weeks and haven’t been asked once. Maybe if it is standard they should make some mention of it on the email. The room was clean with everything you could want but nothing special. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of cereal, juices, breads, pastries, cold meats and cheese. Everything was really fresh and the dining room was spacious. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and polite. Check out was easy
