Great cappuccino. Breakfast was good, but a bit slow. For business travel I appreciate when hotels have a bigger breakfast buffet vs. made to order menu. The gym is also quite well stocked. a couple treadmills, a cable tower, a smith machine, and most importantly a good set of free weights and kettlebells. There’s aslo plenty of room to use said weights or yoga mats. You’ll also find a few miscellaneous items and a few plyo boxes.

Really nice hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Shower has excellent water pressure and the water is hot. The room layout is nice. The Blind Spot bar is also very very nice to have a drink. I highly recommend.

This property was very central. Most of the staff very helpful, except when checking in. No information given , re breakfast times, wifi etc. They said the room was not ready, besides being after 4. When we said we weren't happy about that, the room was available??? The lift was also broken for 3 days , which left only one working for the whole hotel. All this being said we really enjoyed our stay, the rest of the staff were lovely, room was a good size, very clean. Excellent location, would highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel in wonderful location, very close to Covent Garden. All staff extremely friendly and as a wheelchair user, I was very well taken care of. Scrupulously clean, good sized rooms, very comfortable bed, fluffy towels. Both main bar and ‘hidden’ cocktail bar fantastic atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely return.

The scent in the halls is overwhelming particularly for those scent sensitive like myself. The Caesar salad in the dining room was soaked in dressing. The general property is nice but needs updating from the 90’s as far as style. Staff is wonderful!

Was a very nice facility with a few great perks included. The lobby, restaurant, coffee house, library and Speakeasy were perfect! The restaurant had an excellent range of food offerings! Great location too!

We chose St Martins Lane as we needed a bed for the night after visiting the theatre (the hotel is perfect for a lot of the surrounding theatres). We received exactly what was required, a very clean and modern bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a clean and modern bathroom. The room was quieter than expected which was an added bonus. We didn't use any of the other facilities so cannot comment on these. The reception area does feel a little minimalist and unfinished but was efficiently run. It should be noted that, when booking, to add breakfast hotels.com indicated an additional £112 total for 2 people so we did not bother. Upon checking in we could have added breakfast for £25 per person but, again, didn't bother as the cafe next door advertises a full English for £11 (and it was very good).

We stayed here 3 years ago for our wedding, we took around 20 rooms for 3 days and us and 40 guests and had our pre-wedding party in the bar downstairs we all had a great time and we came back for our anniversary but unfortunately it was all very disappointing. We were only here for one night so asked if it was possible to check in at 1 instead of 3 and did receive a response to say they would try their best but arrived and room wasn’t ready, kept saying 30 minutes but ended up being after 3, no offer of a water or anything whilst we waited, it was very hot and I’m heavily pregnant. The hotel staff were nothing like 3 years ago, just really unhelpful, we asked if they could park our car as this is a service they offer and we were told to park it ourselves in the car park which we did. Room cost was just under £300, but room was very average, stained carpets, small double bed, the main light in the room didn’t work and the TV sound kept cutting out. Bottled water wasn’t replaced, just really didn’t feel like they were bothered. It’s almost like as we spent over £20k last time so were treated really well and on return there was no customer relations. We won’t stay again here as lots of lovely hotels in London in the same price range. The location is great, you can’t really beat it but there several other hotels all in the same location which are better.

Love the location, the staff and the dining. Alas the hotel really needs an upgrade. Rooms are very loud, could hear everything the next door neighbors were saying the bed in my daughters room was infested with something (she had bites all over her back) as and the mattress was terrible (508) Bed was fine in my room(512)

Everything about our room for the 13 day stay was quite good, one minor exception was the blinds in the window being fixed in different positions. The bathroom was excellent, with a strong shower, and associated storage being good for our stay. The room lighting is good and fun, with the colors over the bed. The heating/cooling controls required 4 days of experimentation to partially figure out…a simpler more effective control should be on the to-do list, along with the blinds.

The layout with the courtyard is unique. I was surprised how we did not hear doors shutting in the hallway or street noises. The only draw back with the design was with the internal room doors not being a sound barrier at all to the bathroom area. Would still stay here again!

I only stayed one night—needed a hotel close to a party I was attending. The hotel is modern but not too trendy. Great location, particularly if you are a theater goer. Also conveniently located to the Tube if you’re so inclined. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Tottenham Court Road, where you can take the new Elizabeth line to Heathrow in about 40 minutes for £13!! Rooms are not large but well thought out. The bathroom is large enough for two people to use comfortably at the same time.

Service not good enough for the price. I left some items in the room. The very least you expect is for the items to be handed in. Breakfast service was terrible too. Only there for 2 nights but both days it took so long to get a coffee that I was basically finished.

Fab! Fab! Fab! Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Cleaning staff do an excellent job and all look happy and again so helpful. Rooms are in excellent condition with good quality amenities. Fab lighting system. Complimentary tea/coffee kettle and coffee machine.

Visa was the best! His personality and pure love of his job made my stay the best! He always called me by name and made sure we had anything we needed. He made sure our stay was perfect our superior double room was amazing! Spacious and fun. Beds were extremely comfortable! The location was ideal. Just a few steps from Tralfalgar Square and so many restaurants to choose from!

Nice overall but ringing reception 4 times with no answer is not acceptable for a 5* hotel. I had no TV the cable was broken easy fix of they could be Bothered to answer.

Excellent visit. Staff was very professional and friendly throughout the visit. The service in the room was good. Our room was gigantic by London standards. Windows everywhere. Clean and modern. There wasn’t an overall bathroom door. With a family that would have been nice. Still it was large and updated. The location is terrific. Steps to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Piccadilly. Easily walked to Parliament several times. Good access to several Tube stations. We’d definitely stay again.

Best location to stay in london. 3-4 min walk to subway. Lots of restaurants, theaters and lively places around. Very clean and fiendly staff. Only thing on check-out they wanted to charge a breakfast I didnt have, same thing to the person before me. So just keep an eye on your consumptions on the way out

The breakfast after a few days didn't offer enough variety but it was good and reasonably priced. But we were happy not to sign up for daily breakfast, as we explored other choices in the neighborhood. The location was superb. Hotels.com said we shoild have been offered a 20% discount on a meal, which never happened.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is very well located and near many transportation options. Most of the main landmarks and attractions can be walked in least that 30 minutes. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is abundant.

Our stay was largely great. Reception, the valet, rooms, checkout was all good. I was a bit dissapointed with breakfast though. We were told that there was no latte or cappichino available, only some very weak and tasteless filter coffee. Not cool for a 5 star hotel. The full breafast was dissapointing too... half a tomato and half a mushroom, and no toast. I had to ask for toast, and did get some. Other than that, the location was great and we really enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay, close to theatres, tubes and walking distance from Waterloo. The breakfast here was amazing, The Den bar room was intermate and very well staffed, possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in London.
