We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Waldorf Hotel in London, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special highlight of our stay was the delightful surprise of an upgraded room upon check-in—a gesture that truly set the tone for our visit. Our room was wonderfully spacious and designed for ultimate comfort. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, offering us some of the best nights of sleep we’ve had in a hotel. Both the room and the hotel itself were impeccably clean, with attention to detail in every corner, which added to the overall luxurious atmosphere. The hotel’s gym was adequate and did the job, providing the essential equipment needed for a basic workout. While not particularly standout, it was clean and well-maintained, which made it a convenient option for staying active during our trip. Finally, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Situated in the heart of London, it allowed us easy access to many iconic landmarks, theaters, and dining options, making our stay all the more convenient and enjoyable. We cannot recommend The Waldorf Hotel highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable!

The sauna & steam room were not working. Pool was lovely though. Staff were friendly. Check in tool a long time. Some areas should have had doors shut so general public could not see how dirty some areas were! Drinks took a long time to order at the bar, was not busy. Very underwhelmed for my 50th Birthday, saved a long time for this.

A very pleasant hotel, very centrally situated for visiting theatre, galleries and museums in London. More the shabby side of chic, but nice nonetheless. Note that the gym does not actually belong to the hotel - it is located next door and part of a popular fitness chain. It therefore has great equipment, but can be very loud and busy even early morning.

The executive lounge canapés left a lot to be desired. The fact that there were no ice machines was also mildly annoying and room service menu functionality from TV or phone was very glitchy. The staff were great with the exception of room service begging for tips. I found that quite off putting.

Very nice stay.Staff great.Pool out of commission due to company running it leaving without notice. Alternatives provided but a bit of palava getting passes to access. Staff worked hard to achieve this.

As we had a Theatre performance booked, the hotel was located perfectly and close to most West End performances. We had a great stay, and would highly recommend the Monkey bar- impeccable service. Herman was incredible, his energy, knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding- a true credit to the hotel. We were also served breakfast by a lady I believe called Katie? She was excellent too. Overall very pleased with our stay. Cleanliness was exceptional too- we stayed in room 211 and it was spotless.

When I arrived, they placed me in a down graded room than what I had paid for. It wasn't till the next night, after I had reached out and called and asked about it that they confirmed they "accidentally" had placed me in the wrong room. But still didn't refund me for the night their staff gave me the wrong room. Then separately, fitness is very important to me and their gym facility is disgusting. They didn't even clean the mess from the day before of people's water cups and towels. They were still all over the floor. There's barely any machines. Their bathrooms were out of use. Their sauna and steam rooms (which they advertised they had available) were unavailable. And one of the days they simply had no cups for water for anyone at the gym.

There was no parking near by - had to park car 1/2 hour away . No Valet. Stairs at the front of the hotel made it hard to enter with suitcases.

This was such a beautiful and cozy hotel to stay at. We had the best trip. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was large and everything was very clean. I like to have ice with my water so the hotel would kindly deliver an ice bucket when I called the front desk, since there are no ice machines for guests to access. We were excited to use the pool but sadly it was much smaller and dingier than the pictures portray. The pool looked dirty and the room was dimly lit and very dated. Other than the pool area everything in this hotel was wonderful and we absolutely loved our stay. We will be back someday for sure!

I’ve stayed in this hotel various times over the past 12 or so years. Unfortunately it is in the same state now as it was 12 years ago. All very drab and tatty. Disappointing to have to switch rooms twice as they hadn’t been cleaned, which meant check in was only possible at 16:30. Some staff pleasant and efficient (concierge and doorman), others indifferent and non attentive. A long way from the glory days, and unfortunately feeling quite overpriced versus other options these days.

Filthy leisure’s facilities, broken air con, hairs in numerous food items, incompetent management. Too many issues to list here unfortunately. A total calamity from start to finish, it was so very disappointing.

Crisp, clean and full doorman British service. All staff were amazing. We would turn on the "Make up room" light, and by the time we got back from breakfast, our room was clean! The Breakfast was so very worth the price. Full global selections plus menu items - all included in an opulent setting. They even have a to-go breakfast station for those in a hurry. Did I mention the heated towel racks and the iron and ironing board, and the beverage/safe closet???

The hotel is very dated (not in an elegant way) Rooms too hot. The downstairs ladies facilities were stuffy with an overriding smell caused by lack of good ventilation. £28 breakfast served from menu was underwhelming and sad on the plate. Rooms should have coffee machines - not instant!!

Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Breakfast was spot on. Although two lattes ordered independently were at best tepid. The room wasn't worth the price. When I first turned on the TV, it didn't work, after looking around I found all the leads pushed down the back of the cabinet. The power cable was live. We switched off the AC/Heater after an hour as it made a constant loud whining noise. The towel rail was not connected to the heater system, but the sign above it said it was hot. The bed, which I believe was a King size, had a duvet on it that did not touch both sides of the bed simultaneously. After the second night there seemed to be a very very light coating of dust in the room, that had appeared overnight. I think the room had been recently refurbed and maybe needed re checking. Prior to our stay, we had sent an email telling you it was our wedding anniversary and we would appreciate a nice view - my wife thought this was a silly thing to request as if we're in London, what else could the view be, well that request was ignored and my email not acknowledged as we had a view of the hotel lobby roof.

Our stay at The Waldorf Hilton, London was excellent from start to finish. The check in staff were polite, welcoming and efficient. The room was ready despite us arriving before the check in time. Whilst the room was on the small side, with a view of a brick wall, it was perfectly functional and very clean. We didn't dine in the hotel but we did use both bars and found the staff very friendly and engaging with a depth of knowledge of the drinks menu. The hotel is in a very central position. Would highly recommend

Overall our stay was OK BUT the service at breakfast was exceptionally slow (particularly for the price. Also the skin balm in the bathroom was empty suggesting that the room had not been fully checked. It was disappointing considering the cost of one nights stay

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was a good size, especially for London. There was an event downstairs until late with loud music, which made it hard to sleep. Shower a little temperamental. But overall, it’s a nice hotel in a great location.

Property was okay. It was clean, the door man was great and the rest of the staff was okay too. No sheets, only a comforter, and it was very hot all the time in our room. The bathtub is dangerous, and very high to step over. (BTW, I’m 6’ and semi athletic)

Very nice hotel and very friendly helpful staff, only thing with our room (211) we paid £20 extra a night for an upgrade of a street view but it really wasnt worth it so dont waste you rmoney, plus we you had a shower there was a big water leak coming from under the bath, we did advise the on the check out, the breakfast was very nice with lots to chose from, would i stay again.... YES, perfect location for shopping and to walk to see a show

I like this hotel. Great location and friendly staff but check in needs sorting and this is not a one off. You can check in before you room is ready and leave your bag which is great but when you come back from your day out you have to queue again. 2 staff and a long line. Surely just have a key collection line. ?

We had booked a fully paid non refundable suite. When we reached the hotel at 1am in the morning, we were told that they had given the room away and there were no more rooms available. Then they called all the other Hilton hotels in London to see if they could get us accommodation for that night which took more that 2 hours and we ultimately got a room at another hotel at 3.30am. Terrible experience, not expected from a Waldorf property. Not when it was fully paid for in advance and on a non cancelable basis.

Check in was 3pm, we arrived at 12.30 and they said the rooms weren't ready, but we would be on a first come basis. At 3pm the room stilll wasnt ready. 1st night the room was cleaned, they said we had the do not disturb sign up, which was totally false. Service was ok, nothing great! Wouldn't go back

The Waldorf London is the PERFECT location!! It's right in the middle of the theater district, walking distance to Covent Garden and Seven Dials Market, and any transportation you need. The staff are friendly, and the cocktails at the bar are delightful. They were able to give us a very early check in, and check out is a reasonable 12pm! The rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed.

Excellent location! The staff and rooms were both very nice. Very convenient to shopping and shows nearby. Loud street but the room was dead quiet. The bathroom and shower were really nice and very clean. Air conditioning A . Would stay at this property again or recommend to friends/family easily. Thanks for the great stay!

The Waldorf is in a great location. Close to shows as well as many great restaurants, bars, and tourist sights. It’s a short walk to the convent garden market which had wonderful shops, boutiques, and bars. A great place to stay when visiting London!

60th birthday celebration- great stay and rooms so comfortable. Good bar and early check-in. Breakfast was however a little chaotic with queues, items not replenished, some items not hot and not enough toasters though choice was good.

Stayed for one night as a family on arrival the reception and bar areas looked modern and grand, however our rooms didn’t quite meet our expectations definitely not the same feel as reception. We used the bar and accompaniment of nuts came we were charged £10 for the privilege. I understand London is expensive my children ordered pancakes for breakfast three arrived and each had a glass of orange juice we were charged just short of £29 each a little excessive in my opinion.
