Twenty Nevern Square Hotel

Would definitely recommend this place! The staff Thomas and Victoria were so friendly and professional and went the extra mile. The free breakfast is a really nice touch. My only gripes is that the rooms could use some updating and the WiFi could be stronger Just to note there is parking onsite, it is very limited (only 3 cars can barely fit) costs £25 a day

It was quiet at night (except for noisy flooring to be expected in an old London hotel) and quite small but exactly what to expect for an inexpensive room. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and working. The air conditioning was top notch and quiet as well. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The suite we stayed in was located in the annex next door and offered an incredible view of Nevern Square. Despite being situated in the heart of London, the room was peaceful, quiet, spacious, and beautifully appointed. Please note that there are stairs to navigate and no lift to the room we stayed in, which may pose a challenge for guests with mobility issues. However, this was not a problem for us. The hotel staff were exceptionally professional and pleasant, providing valuable advice on local attractions and offering assistance whenever needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near many central London attractions, most of which are within walking distance.

Centrally located to tube station, easy to walk, taxi not needed. Concerns: This is dangerous Lights on timers and in bathroom will go out regularly when you are in shower. In addition, stairwell if you are in upper level room. Aesthetics- Rooms could use cleaning attention around baseboards and windows. This is typical of a majority of properties. Window treatments need repaired. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms clean. Nice size, good shower water pressure. Nice breakfast with selection of cereals, pastries, toast, with meats, cheeses and yogurt, fresh coffee, cappuccino, juices.

We were thrilled with our stay at 20 Nevern Square. The room was more spacious than we were expecting, and the location so close to the Underground was fantastic. We were able to get anywhere we wanted quickly. The staff, though quiet and a little shy, were extraordinarily helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the garden area was the perfect spot to enjoy it. We hope to stay there again!

I booked this place specifically for stating that there was parking available but was disappointed to find how limited this was. Parking across the area but very hit and miss and had to use the JustPark app to find parking close by. Expensive, but save and a convenient less than 10-minute stroll back to the hotel. Area is good with lots of options for shopping and dining right at the heart of Earls Court. Hotel room was tiny, no bedside table per se but small and slim side shelves. The rooms are a very aged Victorian house conversion. There was no running water in the sink or shower when I arrived but it was promptly resolved - however the water pressure was wanting. It’s OK for short stays and don’t expect much. Will I return? There’s a 4/10 chance when in desperation.

As is the way of London, I stepped off the bustling Earl's Court Road into a typically beautiful, leafy Square. As soon as you enter the hotel, you feel you're in a welcoming home - beautiful decor throughout and the property is obviously well and carefully cared for. My room on the top floor (there is a lift) was very comfortable and even had its own little veranda with an artificial grass lawn! House-keeping was impeccable. Like the rest of the hotel, the room had the atmosphere of a real English country home and I really enjoyed being there. The continental breakfast buffet was excellent, served by helpful and friendly staff in a beautiful dining-room complete with a glass roof. I shall certainly use this hotel for future London visits and I couldn't rate it more highly. The only suggestion I'd make it to provide a real 'paper' version of the room service menu, as it only seemed available via a phone scan facility - this might put some people off bothering about using room service?

I left booking accommodation for the Proms to the last minute and thought we'd end up having to stay on the outskirts. However, when I saw this place I booked immediately and was not disappointed. The check in process was easy (remember to bring your ID), a really friendly gentleman helped me with parking the car — the car park is over the road and it secured by metal gates and padlock). I had possibly one of the best nights' sleep there and would happily return just for that. This will certainly be my first point of call[ in future when attending the Proms. Thank you to all the staff involved!

Great location just 5 min walk from earls court station and restaurants. Our room was in the building next door which seemed to be the more updated rooms. Loved our room. It was perfect for my daughter and I. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Nice and cold AC. The included breakfast was small but enough to start our day. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived to find out that I had been upgraded from the small double to standard double which was nice, as I wanted a view of the garden. However, in inspection I noted the room has many things wrong. The toilet was broken, the shower doors were not secure so couldn’t close, the window wouldn’t shut properly so I was cold most of my stay as the windows were just old. The bed itself was comfortable, but due to being large wood framed, dust was covered so I was up most of the first night sneezing. I did inform the desk the same day, however on my return only the toilet had been fixed. Really needed a good clean. Breakfast was lovely, staff were nice.

Great location. Floor in room was a bit dirty/not properly vacuumed. The next door room had access to a balcony that linked to my window so it was a bit of a privacy issue. Front desk service was ok. Breakfast options were decent

Here's what's GREAT about this place: It's beautiful, quaint, near Olympic Centre; the rooms are well-appointed. The elevator works. The rooms are super tiny (less than 1' from end of bed to wall), but it's a big city. I REALLY appreciated meeting Marianna - who kept the beautiful breakfast room incredibly clean and perfectly set up; Harshil who was pleasant and helpful; Veronika - who was consistently gracious and (forgot her name!) the other remarkable front desk attendant. The people who work here are unusually terrific. The breakfast room is bright and sunny and well-stocked. Now what I didn't like: I stayed in Room 16, which has a patio and looked super cute in the photos. But when I got there, I saw that headboard is velveteen and was streaked black with hair grease, grime and filth from numberless previous guests. It was nauseating! Luckily, I travel with Lysol wipes, but it was gross. This should not be in a hotel! Also, the bathroom light is on a sensor, so no matter what time of the night or morning, if it gets triggered, you're in for 10 minutes of being-able-to-do-surgery-brightness, even if you'd like to go back to sleep. There's no way to turn this feature off! And the "vanity" mirror above the sink is the wattage of a child's night light, which is to say "no use at all". Other than those three unfortunate factors, this was an excellent hotel and I will stay there again - in a room with a solid headboard.

The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and healthy. The bed and pillows were a little on the firm side for our liking but that is an opinion. The sheets were soft and comfortable. The only issue that we had was with the wifi going in and out which effected the TV as well.

The hotel is easy to find, beautiful decor but bathroom is looking tired, the toilet seat very loose so you had to be careful when sitting on it, the shower trickles water at the best and is a rain shower head which is a pain for women who dont want to wash your hair, however there is a shower cap. the sink in the bathroom is in a very tight place and no room to put anything. The room kettle kept popping open when trying to boil. The bed was not the most comfortable i have slept in but ok if not a little hard. Size of the room a little cramped as such a huge wooden bed with legs that stick out took up most of the room. Lounge area was beautifully decorated. The breakfast room very very cramped and a limited selection of breakfast items, croissants very crispy so i dont think very fresh or they had been heated and left to go cold, banana or apple was the only option of fruit, staff dont really speak to you, coffee from flasks was cold but the staff did get me hot coffee from the machine but you have to ask for it. Parking is the opposite side of garden square out front a 2 min walk but there is only space for 4 cars. This hotel was ok for a 1 night stay and a bargain price as i had student discount but i would not of been happy if i had paid over £80 for the room. I dont think i would go back again.

Wonderfully clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, and the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. My only quibble is the shower in my room was pretty dreadful, but when I mentioned it on checkout, notes were taken and it’s going to be fixed.

The hotel was satisfactory until an unexpected water leak appeared from the unit above. Although no compensation was offered, the unit remained comfortable overall.

For a single traveler it was perfect. I was in room 8 that overlooked their patio garden. . Lovely very tall ceilings. Pristine cleanliness. The only complaint is they had no tea in the room. However they did at breakfast. All the staff were womderful and accomodating.

The hotel has an excellent location close to a metro station and restaurants in a safe neighbourhood. Recepcion is very friendly. It is not a 4* Hotel and is looks and feels old. Furthermore, the room smelled like humid, and they did not vacum it until I asked them to. Breakfast is very basic. Old fruit is served. TV in the room was pretty small. I ran out of water i the shower two days.

Property was conveniently located, clean and supported by pleasant staff. Room however was cramped and suffered terribly from noise from upstairs bedroom. Just tolerable for the first two days of our stay but the third night was horrendous with the sound of creaking floorboards and voices …. it was like they were in our bedroom. Don’t know what the other rooms like but suggest room 6 is avoided.

This was your typical terrace house hotel so be prepared for it to be tiny. We had two big suitcases and cabin baggage and it was a stretch. Having said that - it is what it is and it was beautiful. The bathroom was modern and the shower was hot and strong. The service was lovely and there was a range of breakfasts offered apart from the continental that came with the booking. the location was excellent with Earls court station a 5 min walk. We loved our stay.

It was lovely- but. I was in the Basement and it was cold!

The phasa suit was one of the best rooms we have had the pleasure of staying in Old worldly but we appreciate quality antique furniture. Thought there wasn’t a TV which we wasn’t concerned about but then found it in the antique wardrobe. The balcony was lovely to sit outside with a drink people watching . Will definitely stay again

Rooms are very tiny, but nice. The hotel is somewhat hard to navigate with luggage. The location is great, easy access to public transit and very nice looking neighborhood.

Our stay was very good. Room was nice enough but we were in the so-called Courtyard, which is code for basement. It was dark and noisy with people moving about outside and in and out of the room next to us. Breakfast was nice and staff very friendly. TV didn’t work very well and had no UK channels so we reported that and we had some the next day, albeit with bad reception. Location was great for Earls Court tube.

This hotel is old and not well kept. The breakfast is average. The room for two was very small. I had to share a bed slightly larger than a twin

Should have loved it but really felt like we were an inconvenience. The tone was set when we checked in, the hotel receptionist required a photo ID, not an issue however it was copied and no GDPR assurances as to how it would be stored were given. A curt comment of we destroy them in 3 months, and when pressed further it was stated the hotel had issues with previous guests taking drugs and damaging the property as to why they had chosen to do this. I found it all a little odd and demanded the return of the photocopy upon leaving, (which they did). Breakfast although included was continental, with a minimalist selection. However the housekeeping staff were friendly and really diligent. The room was compact for two people, it could have be streamlined and felt a bit cluttered and less bijou which is what we had hoped for. The building and area are nice, very convenient for Earl’s Court Station, and services into London. No on-site parking, mix of paid and residential bays.

Reception Team is superb!!!

Overall a nice experience, but probably wouldn't return. The staff were generally polite and friendly but there were a few amber flags for us: inconsistent information over the phone when we called ahead of arrival to ask about check-in; the man checking us in was photocopying ID and debit card details for deposits but couldn't/wouldn't explain why these were needed or how the details would be used, which made us slightly uncomfortable; doors not being held open when staff were walking through them ahead of us. The room was clean and had bottled water and tea/coffee facilities. The shower had lovely water pressure! There was a lot of noise outside our room door through most of the night, and in the morning this was caused in part by the cleaners. Overall a nice place for a one-night stay, but perhaps not the place for a longer or a more special trip.

This hotel is a hidden gem Absolutely beautiful. Checking in was an ease. The satff were all very pleasant. The room was very clean and the perfect size. The free breakfast was really good. The hotel os a quick 5 minute walk to the train station, so very convenient! I highly recommend!

Would have rated excellent but the room was located on 2nd floor and required a steep climb to our room. Staff were excellent in helping with our luggage coming and going. Included breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Continental breakfast was more than we usually are offered at other hotels. Breakfast staff went beyond normal service to make your breakfast annd stay very pleasurable. Underground stations were walkable. Overall it was a great stay.

Had an awful time the first night, was in a room on the ground floor opposite reception and was woken by noise all night. But I asked for a different room in the morning and was swiftly moved to a room upstairs where I slept very well. Breakfast is basic, but staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a hotel. I communicated with them beforehand that I am vegan and gluten free amd they went above and beyond to provide me with an appropriate and delicious breakfast. I communicated beforehand that my son didnt have the ID that they were requesting but we managed to sort it all out via email beforehand. The hotel is beautiful and the room that we stayed in was gorgeous. The hotel is a few minutes ealk away from Earl's Court station and lots of shops. The staff really made the stay fantastic and I'm looking forward to returning!

Very nice hotel. Good staff and great location for transport. Lots of bars and restaurants. Tube station 5 mins walk.

This is one of our favourite hotels in London. The location is excellent as we like to stay in Earls Court area since it is on the border of Zone 1 and 2 for the underground making transport more affordable. The room we had was one of the larger rooms in a London hotel and very clean and well kept. The are is very quiet with no street noise but only a 5 minute walk to the underground station. We will definitely revisit.

Pretty boutique hotel. Perfect location for sightseeing between Heathrow and the heart of London. Ideal to explore Notting Hill, Holland Park, Kensingtion High Street or Kew Gardens. Only 5 min walking from Earls Court station. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast room. Twin bedrooms are tiny but tastefully furbished, well equipped and practical..many Restaurants, Pubs and shops just round the corner

Good things about Twenty Nevern Square - it's on a quiet street in the Earl's Court area but just a 3-4 minute walk from Earl's Court Road with plenty of restaurants, pubs, convenience stores, money exchange shops and the Earl's Court Underground Station which is on the Piccadilly Line which runs to and from Heathrow and the District Line which runs to many of the major tourist attractions of Central London. The staff is pleasant, the continental breakfast is fine and a nice option to have. There is good WiFi and the shower gets hot very quickly plus it's a good clean bathroom. It's also reasonably priced for a hotel in a large European city. On the downside, the room I had was very, very small. There is very little closet space as well. The nearby rooms make a decent amount of noise when they open and close the door. Overall, it's a good hotel for less than a five day stay. I can't stress how convenient it is to the Earl's Court Underground Station and the importance of that because of the particular lines that run through that station.

We were surprised and delighted with our stay. Location was idyllic, quiet in a residential area, the room extremely comfortable, wonderful breakfast room and short walk to the underground.

The breakfast is not good. Just had boiled eggs, very small sizes of croissants and slices of fruits. Was advised we will only be given 1 toilet roll per day. Aircon makes loud noise every 20 mins. Toilet won't flush if someone will use it straight after. You need to wait for the water to build up.

The Bed and Breakfast was very nice. It was much smaller than the photos make it appear. Our room was newly refurbished and very nice but very tiny. The breakfast area was very small and very crowded. The breakfast selection was extremely limited. Coffee was not good. Lots of restaurants to walk to. Outside sitting area was very beautiful.

Fantastic hotel with a lovely quiet room with leafy green views. So handy to access the tube. Beautiful breakfast.

Lovely staff , very clean , quiet area but no double glazing so you do get noise from outside, room was small but this is pretty normal for a London hotel , included buffet breakfast was welcome . Not very varied but fresh and plentiful. Easy walk from Earls court tube .
