First the Good. We were in a Jr. Suite and it had a REAL Kind Size Bed. The Bathroom was all glass, new and thoroughly modern. The room was large and had working AC and double glazed window so even though we faced Glouster Place (a busy street) the room was quiet. It was also at least 50% cheaper than another hotel we stayed at 2 blocks the other side of Baker Street. The Bad: No box of tissues in the room. My wife and I cannot sleep under a Duvet ...and the fashion is to put one of these heavy things on the bed. I asked for a plain blanket instead at reception and they said...they could give me another duvet but...they didn't have anything else. I will admit these are small things. Overall, it is a great value for your money but it show the difference between this place and the guys who charge more.

Location is great. There are rooms in different buildings, so you always need to walk to the reception building for the common area or cafeteria. I found the rooms internally noisy, you can here the people walking on the parquet, above or below you…

Was told I had a nice Queen room. In reality it was a box without windows at the back of the basement in another property a few doors down the road. A queen bed with just enough room to walk around and nothing more. The air con was loud, the fear of being trapped if there were a fire all contributed to hardly any sleep. The decor was fresh and neutral but looked to mask flaws like cracked bathroom tiles, gaps in skirting. This was not what I had expected given the cost of £230 for the night. Interesting property… fantastic location, modern well done room, excellent and friendly staff, and a fair price for all of that. It was unlike any hotel I’ve stayed at. A small room that functioned like a studio apartment in a great part of town. BUT… I can also say that I had one decent sleep out of the three nights we stayed due to our room being in a vestibule next to the lift (don’t take room 3301 or 3302). We heard the fire door open and close all night, people chattering, hooting and hollering, and the lift door opening and saying “Ground Floor” repeatedly at all hours. If you had any idea of taking an afternoon nap, you can forget about it. Also, no top sheet on the bed? Certainly substandard and possibly subhuman given that the duvet was way too thick and made us sweat profusely. Also not the kind of room you’d want to share with anyone other than a significant other given the fishbowl bathroom that lacked any privacy. The place is a great concept, but why chinz out on proper sheets, hair conditioner, a safe in the room, and adequate noise control?

No one present at reception upon check in. I’d emailed before to say that my arrival was 22:00 and would someone be there? No response! Room was “upgraded” it was freezing and the a/c did not work when trying to increase the temperature. The room was very noisy (or rather the inconsiderate neighbours were). Good water pressure on the shutters although the hose was broken (room 5551). Expensive for a basic hotel.

Even the feedback form does not work properly! Haha! You lot are rediculous! I will definately be putting reviews out about this! Absolutely shockingly bad!!!The room has terrible sound protection and stank of the last giest! It was a celar room with paper thin walls, toilets, farts and footsteps could be heard all through the night so i basically did not sleep at all! To further agravate things

We heard the fire door open and close all night, people chattering, hooting and hollering, and the lift door opening and saying “Ground Floor” repeatedly at all hours. Certainly substandard and possibly subhuman given that the duvet was way too thick and made us sweat profusely. Also not the kind of room you’d want to share with anyone other than a significant other given the fishbowl bathroom that lacked any privacy. The place is a great concept, but why chinz out on proper sheets, hair conditioner, a safe in the room, and adequate noise control?
Interesting property… fantastic location, modern well done room, excellent and friendly staff, and a fair price for all of that. It was unlike any hotel I’ve stayed at. A small room that functioned like a studio apartment in a great part of town. BUT… I can also say that I had one decent sleep out of the three nights we stayed due to our room being in a vestibule next to the lift (don’t take room 3301 or 3302). This is my favourite hotel in London, loved the room! The club is an add extra, it was so nice to chill out in the evening with a glass of wine in the club area .

Great place to stay, only one complaint really. My husband is recovering from knee surgery, we kept thinking we had arrived at the hotel to be advised we were further down the road in one of six properties. It would be helpful to know where you are staying before arrival with a building number to save this issue. I found it frustrating. Also, be aware that the rooms are very small, ok for one night but wouldn’t have wanted a longer stay.

Well for 3 nights, 600£+ : -we were at the ground floor near the elevator (not ideal regarding noise) - the layout of this bedroom was nonsense and very male design… there was only one nightstand and absolute no night lamp near the bed! The lighting of this room was white… you know the hospital type of white light (even with a regular of intensity, this light is not suitable in a hotel room!) -the bathroom was surrounding by glass walls including the toilet …. - not even a box of tissues that we can find in a basic hotel….so ‘’make up’’ girl get yours or the toilets paper it will be… -the staff was very friendly and helpful. -the location is excellent (5min walk from Oxford Street…) -the air con during summer is a plus -the bathroom was clean
