Lovely hotel with a lot of character. There was an issue with the elevator during our visit, and we wished the room itself had more outlets—otherwise, an exceptional place to stay in a great location.

Arrived in the morning and our room was ready at 10:30 AM (huge bonus). But when we got to it, we discovered there was no air conditioning and the 2 windows only opened 3 inches. It was almost 90 degrees outside and our room was on the top floor. It was horrible, and no way to cool it off. The hotel gave us 2 fans, but that didn't help much. Other than that the hotel was great and breakfast was excellent. Especially the eggs Benedict.

Ideal base for southbank weekend. Good food and lovely staff. Not hotel’s fault but third floor very hot in high temps as no air con, so air con in pub restaurant was a relief! Overall lovely stay though despite hot night.

Cozy hotel with a very helpfull and kind staff. The location includes some trafical noise etc., but is great when you want to be close to the Underground and a lot of sightseeing spots. Breakfast-menu is good.
