Club Quarters Ludgate Hill is a great location if you want to visit St Paul’s, Tate Modern, The Globe theatre. Buses and tubes give easy access to the rest of the city. Hotel is modern, comfortable beds, good shower, and has 24/7 coffee/tea in large lounge near reception that has lT connections. Staff go out of their way to help with questions, directions etc. Housekeeping department is excellent .

This is a very nice hotel for both tourists and business travels alike. The rooms are reasonably sized and very comfortable. The property provides refillable water bottles and filtered water on every floor, which is a nice feature when traveling so you can stay hydrated and not buy a ton of water bottles to carry around while sightseeing. The main floor lounge offers a nice selection of coffees and teas, a business work area with a printer and USB ports. T

Recently renovated but a full 5 star rating was lost because there was only one working elevator. It is EXTREMELY frustrating waiting because my wife can't handle 6 floors up and down the stairs

I loved it here! Great cafe downstairs, amazing coworking space, loved my room, bed was comfortable. The gym was a little small, but it got the job done. There are some places I stayed that I only wanna be there for a night or two, but I could easily stay here for a week or more. New fan of this company. Would redirect stay again.

We arrived before our check in time, but the room was ready and we were allowed to go in early. The room was lovely, very clean and looked as though it had been recently refurbished. The reception staff were all really friendly and helpful, even offered to let us extend our departure from 12:00 until 1:00. We would definitely stay again when having time in London again.

Overall, very good. Rooms were recently refurbished and comfortable. Hotel is located very close to St Pauls Cathedral and a short walk from the tube station. The breakfast choice was OK but could have more variety. Also no stair access to the floors only lifts.

Great location. Awful smell in the lobby and lounge in late afternoons/evenings. Smells like sewage. Not all of the amenities in our room worked properly -the sink in the kitchen was not attached to a pipe and didn’t have water. The drawer under the bed wouldn’t close resulting in a lot of tripping and injuries. Noisy neighbors late and early. Beds were great! Staff not very responsive to requests. Coffee in room was not refilled.

Such an ideal location for a hotel. Receptionists were very friendly. Love the fact they supply bottles you can refill with water. My only complaint is that the carpet in the room and the bathroom look like they had better days.

Clean but there is a weird permanent stain on the toilet seat?! No fridge in the room. Was very comfortable and was in good condition otherwise. The service at the front desk was very good.

We stay 7 days. The room is nice! BUT NEVER during the 7 days our BED SHEETS were CHANGED!!! Even after requesting the room to be clean. I have no problem to request the room to be clean BUT at least clean the damn room that's include changing the sheets! I knows the sheets were NOT changed because I MARKED the sheet to verify it it was done. NOPE! So, if you don't mind about sheet the hotel is great!

A modern and recently redecorated hotel just a few steps from St Paul's cathedral. The cleaning wasn't up to the highest standards, which is a shame, considering everything else was lovely. The room was spacious and with all the essentials and more.

The room was spacious and clean and well kept. Our toilet didn’t flush in the room however. The lifts were very slow which was frustrating trying to leave the hotel in the morning during high congestion time. The refillable water bottles on the floor was a great idea.

Great hotel, brilliant location and decor. Only slight mark against it was 2 of the towels in the room were stained/dirty but plenty of other towels in the room to use which were fine. Otherwise faultless and will definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, very clean. The only down side is the air con in our room did not work as we would like. We set it as low as possible 16 degrees. Would not get below 25 in our room which was hot for us Americans. View from our room was lovely looking at the Cathederal

There is an inability to amend the room temperature to suit comfort levels, and apparently the a/c is disabled at this time of the year. On the night of my first stay I awoke to find the heater on and room temperature 25 degrees. This was at 12:30am in the morning and due to the unbearable temperature I was forced to get dressed and go to reception. I was given another room and finally settled at around 1:30am in the morning. In the new room the a/c could not even be switched on. I thus had to have the windows opened to get fresh air which then let all the noise in. I had a similar experience in Dec last year and thought it was a one off. Now seems the hotel has done nothing to allow guests to amend the temperature in rooms. I won’t be staying here ever again.

We stayed on the 7th floor facing the backside of the building. Our room was very basic but very comfortable and quiet. We slept well each night, which gave us the energy to walk over 10 km every day and explore the city. A restful stay that truly enhanced our trip! We didn’t have any problems with the a/c. The ventilation in the bathroom worked great. Staff was great and always helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Also very much appreciated the early check in!

The room was poorly sound proofed. You could hear everything from cars in the street, people shouting and the bells from St Pauls cathedral ringing every hour. They did move me to a quieter room for the second night and it was quiet. Staff were aware the rooms are noisy yet still charge high end prices and do not tell you that sleep will be minimal in these rooms!!!

For London, it's a good deal. Room was basic and small, but got a room up front, could see St Paul's from my window. The room was seriously quiet. I didn't hear any noise from the street or other rooms. I saw other reviews that there were noise issues but I didn't experience that.

I loved this hotel. It was in a great location, the staff were very friendly, they had plenty of fun amenities, but there was no way to control the thermostat. I spent most of the time sweating while in my room.

The hotel is recently refurbished, everything is really new, nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nothing to sing about, but fairly decent. The gym is gym but well equipped. But the dividing walls of the rooms are paper thin, I could hear the couple in the next room having sex.

This hotel was a nightmare. We arrived at a room with a broken A/C. We arrived late and by the time we noticed it was too late to switch rooms. We called in the morning and they sent a repair person the next morning who claimed to have fixed the problem. The next afternoon when we returned the room was hot a muggy. They moved us to another room that had a leak in the roof. They then moved us to a third room which had a roof leak in the bathroom. We complained several times to the onsite manager and they kept claiming they would send it to the overall manager that was mysteriously always unavailable. Due to all the moving, we missed out Father's Day reservation. Additionally, the last room they moved us into was smaller and did not have a fridge. As a result, we had food and drinks spoil. We asked that they at least credit us on night stay for the discomfort of the first night. After harassing the manager by email, they offered us a free night stay at one of their hotels. That does not make up for the inconvenience, and we don't have one nearby which would require us to travel and take on additional expenses.

I love this chain and have been a regular at St Pauls. However two very expensive watches were stolen from my desk in the locked room - and I only nipped out for a short run - and this utterly ruined the experience, especially as my insurance won't cover the theft because they were not in the safe. A very, very expensive stay at the hote!!!

The Club Quarters (CQ) St. Paul is conveniently located half-a-block from St. Paul Cathedral, and a few minutes walk from the Thameslink and St. Paul underground stations. The Millennium Bridge (walkover the Thames River) is also a few minutes walk. The local neighborhood is well populated with both inexpensive and upscale dining, with there being 2 markets again within a few minutes walk. During the day, the local area is very crowded with tourists due to the proximity to St. Paul. However, this clears out quickly in the evening. The CQ is an excellent hotel, which has been recently renovated and so has a fresh feel. The rooms are generously large by London standards. Everything works well - from internet to quick elevators. There was daily housekeeping. As with most CQ, there is not a large lobby and check-in desk. You are greeted by very helpful staff who quickly electronically check you in. This particular CQ had a large nicely appointed sitting area in the back where you can hold small meetings and socialize. Other than St. Paul's and the Tate Museum directly across Millennium Bridge, there are not a lot of "attractions" nearby. That said, I travel often to London and, given location, convenience and a very reasonable price, I strongly recommend the CQ.

Lovely hotel overlooking Saint Paul’s , very convenient for everywhere. Good value for money and the breakfast was delicious. My only negative is the noise from the traffic which is very loud otherwise I would have given it 5 stars . I did request a quiet room before booking but still gave me a room on the main road .

Located steps from St. Paul's Cathedral with easy access to bus and tube stations. (Hop on, Hop off bus stops right in front of the hotel). Good variety of restaurants nearby with everything from fine dining to fast food. Rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. Our room overlooking the street meant we had views of the cathedral. 🙂 staff were friendly and helpful too. Will stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. generally the refurbishment is a great success. However the new buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing, the hot food seemed tired and some of the pastries not well presented at all. The old breakfasts were magnificent. Fresh and well presented.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, quiet, clean room with a very comfy bed and pillows. Ideal location. I would recommend going to breakfast earlier as by the time we got there a lot of items had run out and no tables had been cleared.
