A exceptional hotel situated just outside Vienna but with great transport links to get into the city.Use the trams or bus or Ubahn. It also boasts a Gym, conference room, laudry and inside reception free tea/coffee. My room was more like a mini apartment, with a sink, kettle, fridge. up stairs bed. Great wifi. Very quiet and the receptionist and other staff were very friendly and very welcoming.

Actually quite nice facilities. Had a 'cold' kitchenette which was handy. My room had the bed in a loft arrangement which might not be suitable for small kids. Only aggravating problem was the cost of parking. 39Euros is simply outrageous. The staff say that the parking doesn't belong to the hotel but it is the only option. Probably the same property owners.

Beautiful new apartments, modern and clean, no complains about this great property, they can probably add at least a microwave to make it 5 starts, just the parking situation is very bad if you are driving there, the parking spot on the basement is very expensive $40 euros a day and street parking is hard to get and you can get a ticket if you are not a resident of the area. also the place is like 25 to 40 min away from the center of Vienna depending on the traffic.

lyf is a really cool concept. the room is so cool. you can spend your time together in the gameroom and also cook in the social kitchen. everybody can use it. amazing idea

Parking is the only issue

Very clean. Helpful staff. Every service efficient and to the point. Easy access to trams and trains to the major tourist attractions. Wish it were more affordable. Parking is quite a challenge though. Unless you park 15 min walk or 5 min bus/tram ride at one of the Wipark locations, it’ll cost you 39 euros per day… that’s a bit too much for parking by any standard.

We will be back! Easy access to public transport, nice spacious room, great gym and gameroom, friendly staff, luggage storage possible, breakfast selection is good and enjoy delicious dishes in the restaurant !

Staying at lyf Schönbrunn Vienna felt a bit like navigating a maze! The hotel has a modern, startup-inspired design with some creative wording in the signage, which made things a bit confusing at first. It’s clear they’ve designed it with a nomad-friendly, co-living vibe, but at times, it felt like we were solving a puzzle just to find our way around. That said, it was a fun experience—we laughed, we got a little lost, and yes, we broke a sweat trying to figure things out. A unique stay for those who enjoy a quirky, unconventional touch. One downside: Parking costs €39 per night, which is way too much! Something to keep in mind if you’re driving.

I did my laundry without issue. It was 5€ for both wash and dry and I had to supply my own detergent but the rooms were almost brand new and very clean

Very clean and fresh hotel with every amenity you might need during both short and long trips. Big plus for us was the proximity to tram ( right outside) and metro (short walk). The gym was a pleasant surprise with very modern gym equipment. Our room also had everything we needed, plates, knives, iron, etc. Breakfast buffet maybe could have been a bit more extensive for the price of 17€. I would highly recommend this hotel due to the fantastic amenities and the proximity to metro and trams.

The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean, neat, and equipped with everything you could possibly need, including an ironing desk and iron. The kitchen was fully stocked as well, which made the stay even more convenient. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. Considering the price, it was overall an excellent choice. The only drawback was the distance from the city center. You need to take a tram, and at times change lines twice, which wasn’t always the most comfortable. Since you’ll likely be using public transport every day, keep in mind that you’ll also need to budget for those costs. The same tram you use which stops right at the hotel does not work after 11 so you need to take another line which is 7-10 minutes walking distance away.

Of all the hotels we stayed in Europe this place stands out. Not only because of the style of the room but the cleanliness. I highly recommend this, and definitely we will be back.

Terrible. Worse hotel in our Europe trip by far. —Parking was 39 euros - shower was clogged so bathroom gets floooded - towel hooks in bathroom were missing so there’s nowhere to hang anything in the small toilet - lift needed a passcode to operate , but the passcode was displayed inside the lift, so it might as well not have a passcode Overall very negative and definitely NOT a 4 star hotel.

The room and facility are great! Onsite washer and dryer are great additions! But it is close to the train station and there was construction going on, so very noisy!

A neat looking exterior and friendly staff who were able to help with questions. Nice little apartment rooms, laundry accessibility was great. Only downside that I could find was the shower. It created a pool of water as the seal around the base and shower door didn't work properly and even in 8 minutes had water leaking out of bathroom even with towels on the floor.

Overall experience was great. I would offer the following recommendations…the email sen by the hotel stated that the access would be needed to enter the building (I thought it meant the lobby area, as well as the room)…the rooms could be soundproofed so that the guest does not hear what is happening outside of their door…the stairs in the room to get to the bed area could use traction grip padding because they are a bit slippery (I fell).

It was a very good experience with Lyf. The check in was nice and smooth, they do housekeeping just once in your stay(halfway through) which I didn’t mind since it was just me. The room was clean and tidy, I did notice some of the utensils that they provide were dirty… so just stayed away from those. But aside from that, it was very nice. Right outside the doors are two different streetcar routes, making it super easy to get around, to and from central Vienna. It’s very quiet during the night, the only thing is that the doors are very heavy and they shut very loudly, which might wake some people up. Overall, a very great experience. Thank you Lyf!

Das Zimmer war super, sehr geräumig. Die Betten sin bequem. Nur die Raumhöhe im Schlafbreich war etwas niedrig.

The room was great, could have used a microwave for heating food in kitchen. The staff from DCIP were too loud outside for us in the morning times and late at night. The water temperature in the shower was too variable from hot to cold. Very uncomfortable. Parking was way too expensive.

I LOVED this hotel. The layout was excellent--the loft bed was incredibly comfortable and the living area downstairs was spacious and cozy. SUPER-quiet, great internet, and loved the combination locks on everything so I didn't have to use a key.

I am not that tall but couldn’t stand up in the area where the bed was, although it was clean, and uniquely decorated with comfortable beds, and convenient for local public transport

Room is spacious, well-designed, colorful, modern, and practical. The small kitchen is great, but it could use a microwave. The heating could be a bit lower / cooler. A female staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful during check-in.

some f the staff was nice but as coffee and tea the machine was broken .The day i left early morning no staff in the lobby and i needed a taxi to get to the airport.

I stayed for just one night — and that was more than enough. The reception isn’t always staffed, so you’re often left waiting for someone to show up, which felt disorganized from the start. The internal layout of the property is also like a maze — navigating between the buildings is confusing and not well signposted. Each door requires a specific code to enter, but here’s the real issue: your private bedroom/apartment door can be opened at any time by staff without warning. As a solo traveler, that felt incredibly unsafe. On the morning of checkout, cleaning staff walked into my room while I was changing — 15 minutes before my scheduled checkout time. I shouted at them to give me privacy. Shockingly, this happened two more times. On the third intrusion, the staff member came in with her phone raised, using a translation app to tell me I couldn’t stay past 11. I pointed out that I was literally putting my shoes on and would’ve been out sooner had they not interrupted me three times. I raised this with the manager at checkout. He was polite and said he’d follow up by email to resolve the situation. I never heard from him again. I was rushing to catch a flight or I would’ve stayed to deal with it properly on-site. Bottom line: avoid this place if you value privacy, security, or basic respect for personal space.

The property was very clean! I loved how secure it was, the fact that we had access codes especially late at night, made me feel safer! Security was definitely 10! I liked the location as well! Tram 62/62A was right outside the property and had good links to the centre! I found that convenient! Staff were okay during check in, however, I made a request for a taxi to take me to the airport and I highly doubt that the staff that attended to me actually made the reservation. I had to remind her to note down my name and room number, anyways the taxi never showed up and that was very disappointing! Overall the place was clean and okay.

Check in process was super easy. Convenient location to access by transit with a bus and tram stop right in front of the hotel. Great staff. My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary and they decorated our room before we checked in, which was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel, really clean and the space was perfect. Our room came with a mini fridge, which was pretty useful. The location is not ideal, as it is quite far from the center, but we already knew that when we booked it. Reaching the center by public transport is relatively easy, so wasn’t that big of a deal. We didn’t get the breakfast, as we found it quite expensive so I don’t know what it looks like. They even printed our train tickets for us for free which was really appreciated. Overall we had a really great stay at this hotel

The hotel is very good, New. Fridge, possibility of doing laundry, Kitchen. Great staff. Transportation across the street. 2 only things to consider: 1) at night the trains somehow get louder. 2) access to transportation is amazing but distance to downtown is about 30 min.

Very clean, cute space. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Reception provided helpful tips for navigating public transit. Bus and tram stop right outside the property; probably too far to walk to downtown. Would stay here again.

Good property, not so close to the center, but not far away either. Good rooms, warm in the fall, good service, etc. Would stay again ... Good service. Helpful staff. Good prices. Center would have been more expensive. This suits my needs for the trip. I did not need to be in the center.

The property was beautiful and the train was conveniently located in front but, there weren't a lot of places to eat or get toiletries nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Overall the property is great. The room was beautiful and clean and looked awesome. The location isn't super convenient to the tourist attractions but other than that it's great! You can take transit to get places so it's not bad at all

we had an amazing stay! its in a good location. next to the hotel is a tram and bus station. very practical we had delicious breakfast and they also deliver pizza and pasta to your room! Fantastic

We had an amazing time. Room was clean, breakfast were amazing - would be able to imagine to have pancakes or waffles as option, but still excellent breakfast buffet. Our room key didn’t work couple of times, but the hotel staff was always very helpful.

Hotell it self was very good, but we were quite disappointed of the breakfast. Cost 18,90€ per person per day and the choices was very slim.

Everything was great. Staff, room, breakfast and restaurant. In front of the door you have a bus and train station - really a great location! Parking is also available. I highly recommend it.

Really nice space, nice to have the separate bedroom area. Bathroom was great - shower really warm and good water pressure. The pizza restaurant next door was amazing. A little bit out the way and needed to change trams/s bahn a couple of times to get back from the centre and no shops nearby so buy milk etc in the centre if you need it
