No tiene estacionamiento, no sabiamos que esta en una calle peatonal, y tuvimos que caminar varias calles para llegar. Habitacion el piso en muy mal estado, el baño olia a drenaje y lo demas a encerrado y humedad, no se si fue porque reseve por aqui, pero nos dieron una habitacion incomoda, sin vista, y pesimamente ubicada. El restaurante ofrecio un "buffet" limitado, insipido y ridiculamente caro. Pero la vista desde la terraza es de reconocerse. En general una experiencia muy desafortunada y decepciónante. Busquen que a quienes reservamos por aqui, nos den habitaciones mas decentes

We were lucky enough to get a view facing the plaza. Remember that there is no AC but ask at the front counter for a fan and they’ll provide one. We used the laundry service and were happy to have our clothes back the same evening. The only drawbacks were the non existent water pressure and the lumpy beds. It might not be a five star place, but honestly the view was worth it. The staff was so nice and always happy to help. We booked a day tour to the pyramids and Basilica with them as well. We had breakfast at the rooftop and it was nice too, with a great view & good food. Gracias por todo!

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Only down side is the elevator which is only bad since it has an operator so sometimes it takes awhile for it to come since there is only one.

No tiene estacionamiento y estuve llamando antes de llegar por espacio de una hora para que me sugirieran un estacionamiento y nunca me contestaron. Al llegar me atendieron bien pero había bichos en el baño (cucarachas) y me cambiaron de habitación. Después de eso todo bien.

I liked that the hotel is close to many stores and is basically walkable. Staff was very helpful and informative. Bathroom was okay, could definitely use some improvement. Bedsheets were not clean, had some hairs on them. The hotel lobby was nice!

Let’s start from the beginning…service at front desk was terrible. Was there about 2 hours prior to check in and still had to wait. Did not get to check in until 4pm. The front desk was super rude and acted like I was not even standing there in front of him. The guy with our luggage was nice and the person running the elevator too. Now to the room. The floor tiles were separating. The bathroom has a window between the next room. When you turn on the shower, the water went everywhere but in the tub or on your body. They only gave us 2 towels, nothing for the floor or even a hand towel for the sink. 1 towel was clean, the other was dingy. There is no air just a fan, so luckily we are here in December and the outside weather is nice. We just slept with the window open. The noise from the Zocolo did not even bother us. I would not stay again or recommend to others.

Old lady from 1937 in need of TLC. Rooms are bare no iron no mini fridge not enough power outlets and dated furnitures . The mattress is firm like a stone. The windows are single pane no isolation and we can also hear the other rooms. The building is great and the view on the place is unique. The front desk person are not exactly friendly and not very helpful . For what we get it’s overpriced . It could be an amazing place with some basic investments and training

I hadn't been back here in a number of years but it was always my go-to hotel in Mexico City. I always loved staying here because it's location is prime and the restaurant overlooking the zocalo is still one of my favorites in the area. We were on the 5th floor and the internet was not all it should have been. We could always get access down in the lobby but they need to do some work done to get a stronger internet signal thoughout the hotel. The staff is very helpful, there's a coffee machine in the room which I always love seeing but bring your own creamer. Luckily right next door is a great little coffee and pastry shop which is easily accessed starting at 7am. The Best Western Majestic remains a little colonial gem, with a boutique hotel feel, centrally located and very economical. If you can, try to get a room with a window facing out to the zocalo or to the andador (a bit noisier but worth it) you'll be happy you did. No, this is not a hotel with rooms that look like every hotel in the states, if you want that go elsewhere..The Majestic has the charm and colonial touches that help you feel like you're in a comfortable home while traveling.

Arrived at 1am and the room we booked was not available until the following day. Beds are not comfortable and the windows are not soundproofed and we ended up there 3 nights with heavy noise and massive headaches. Staff were nice and the view was nice. Not really the best experience for a stay in the city.

It doesn't have AC. Since its right at the zocalo area, you cant open the windows to get fresh air, cause its noisy & theres a lot of light.

I wish I would have read the other reviews more closely before staying at this hotel. The 300 year old building has a ton of charm and character, but does not live up to its potential and is in need of some updating. Upon reservation, I requested early check-in, which I would have happily paid extra for. I arrived around 11:45 am was told to come back 1:00/1:30. I came back at 1:30 and was told to come back at 3:30, 30 minutes after normal check-in time. While the other staff were 10/10, the front desk staff is 0/10. I think it is a requirement to have zero people skills to get that position. My biggest complaint is the noise. From inside the room you can hear everything in the hallways and movement from the floor above. Outside in the plaza is extremely noisy, with people blowing horns all day long and shouting selling things. On my last night I had to wake early to catch a flight leading to a day of work meetings, and the noise didn’t settle until after 1am. The front desk staff had zero empathy and said there was nothing they could do. There is also no AC, and it was too loud outside to open the balcony doors.

The location was thr best. In the heart of the city and walkable to so many historical places, not to mention in front of the Zocalo and Cathedral. The staff was very attentive and we loved the historical hotel. We would love to stay again.

Lovely Historical hotel @ constitution plaza. Best location in Mexico City with walking distance to a lot of places to see nearby. All good foods within 5 minutes walking and right @ Main Street for see shopping. Recommendation

It is a convenient location. Half a block from the Zocalo. It is inconvenient to arrive since it is Madero Ave. No cars allowed on Madero street. It is noisy during the day.

It's right by the cathedral and just a half mile from Palacio de Bellas Artes. It's on the corner of the Zócalo square I don't know the right term for it. It is lively though so if you don't like noise it might not be your place. But very happening.

Location was great if you are trying to be next to the Zocalo. If you are looking for a quiet place this is not the place. There is a lot of noise in the surrounding area even late at night. The rooms need to be updated bath tub seemed to be clogged. Another issue is on a street that is only for pedestrians therefore you have to walk with your luggage about a block.

Great location...nice property....safe location...amazing views of zocalo...Friendly staff...always there for you...tried to have a beer at roof top but they told me they cannot sell me a beer if not paid for the buffet.... Love my stay at best western majestic overall..thnks

Para empezar reserve un tipo de habitación, el cual había confirmado con la Sra Lourdes de reservaciones, y cuando llegue me dieron otra habitación, y me dijo que lo que yo había reservado y que estaba pagando el doble de la tarifa marcada en recepción, no estaba disponible, y que si no me gustaba me fuera, la habitación era muy vieja, se ve que no la habían usado en años, las lámparas no servían la ventana estaba enmuecida, el balcón lleno de cables de alta tensión lo que lo hacía muy peligroso salir, pedí roo Service y tardó casi hora y media, además de caro la comida era muy mala!! Yo no volvería a este hotel ni regalado, no lo recomiendo para nada viejo, feo y el personal grosero

The property itself was built in 1937. It is in a great location. They have retained it's historical charm, especially in the lobby and mezzanine level. The rooms are a good size, but could use a little updating. There was a small hole in the carpet in our room and the laminate floor was loose in my dad's room. Even though there was a fan in the rooms, it needed a/c. The restaurant for breakfast was good. The dinner was horrible. They brought my food cold and it ended up being inedible. The meat was cheap quality. The wait staff needs to be better trained.
