Property was decently located in an area that appeared safe and walkable/accessible to other main interest areas. The museums are all within walking distance to this hotel and the area we loved the most, Polanco, was within a ten minute car ride. The room was clean and it was a nice sized compared to other hotels in the area. We had issues with the temperature in our room. The thermostat is locked at 18C and during the day (on a non hot day) the room felt hot. During the night it was even worse as I would wake up in a sweat because it would take AC breaks at around 12-2AM. Spoke to front desk who sent a technician who advised everything was working fine and our room in the eighth floor, back of building, was actually one of the coldest due the position of the sun. Mind you, this was a time when in the mornings the temperature was in the mid 50s(F) and also at night so during a hot summer day, id stay elsewhere. Also, we had two instances where the toilet would not flush for no apparent reason where a technician had to come and service it, one time almost at midnight. The bar is nice but small, nothing special about it. The bar tender Antonio is very hospitable. The gym is also decently sized, clean with a great view. If i were to visit Mexico City again, id stay elsewhere due to the AC issues.

The property was nice, staff was great. I like the one included breakfast on Expedia. Only complaint would be that they did have a Jacuzzi but you had to pay a minimum of $50 to use it. That should be on their website or on Expedia. I like to use the Jacuzzi every day for like five minutes and I don’t really want to pay 50 bucks to use the Jacuzzi

I really like this hotel and found a location to be quite convenient. We were there for day of the dead and it was a great experience staying here. We really enjoyed that time of year in a celebrations, but expect huge crowds and if you’re planning to visit book in advance. The museum and the castle and the park are very close. What I loved most about the hotel was the bed. It was on the firm side and very comfortable.

I had a somewhat vexed experience at the Grand Fiesta Americana Chapultepec. The room was lovely overseeing the park, but the guest next door had a screaming child, so I called the front desk requesting if I could change rooms as I didn't want to be bothered by the crying child (it had been an hour and the child would not tire). They accommodated me and moved me from my original room on the 12th floor to a room on the 16th floor. This one had views of the city. The room was a bit smaller. I turned the AC to 18 degrees Celsius and saw it read 21 degrees. For the next forty-eight hours, the room would not get any cooler. It would release cooler air but never get cold. I even called the front desk to send someone to look at it, and the technician kept trying to convince me it was working just fine, and I just had to wait. It never cooled down. The most egregious issue was that the 16th floor was directly below their party space on the above floor. On the Friday and Saturday night, loud music would play at around nine PM, causing the room to vibrate. On Friday, it ended at around 2 am. On Saturday, while battling a cold and running a fever, I had to call the front desk and ask to sleep somewhere else because there was a wedding happening above. The entire room was shaking. Why place people directly below a party space? Makes no sense. These were just lousy judgment calls on their end that made the stay uncomfortable from the onset until I checked out.

El hotel era lindo y ubicado en un area bastante segura y conveniente. En general nuestra estadia fue agradable, lo unico que diria que tendrian que mejorar un poco es en el room service, nos paso un par de veces que el pedido estaba mal (algo faltaba o habia algo mal) y cuando eso sucedia se tardaban entre 10-20 minutos en volver a la habitacion con lo que sea que estaba faltando. Pero descontando eso, todo resulto de lo mas agradable.

The staff lost my bag — they allowed a third party tour guide access to my room right before I was about to check out. I returned to my room after I went out for breakfast and my bag was missing. The tour group had already taken my bag and they were an hour out. I had to wait for my bag to be returned to me and almost risked missing my flight. Before the incident I was enjoying the hotel so it is unfortunate that they did not prioritize safety of their guests. I would feel unsafe staying here again knowing that they provide their master key to people who are not employees of the hotel such as housekeeping.

Fantastic service. My husband and I spent several days of our honeymoon here. When I mentioned that fact to the concierge, that evening there was a nice note and chocolate covered strawberries and red wine to share. Very thoughtful.

We had a good view of the castle, which is nice. However, two problems bothered us. First of all, the soundproofing was not good, we could clearly hear the family living next to us. Secondly, there is something really confusing about the breakfast. When we checked in, we were told that breakfast was included, no check-in proof or information sheet was provided to us. We have 3 people and no one mentioned that the breakfast was only included for ONE person! We figured this out only after we had our breakfast. Had it not been included, we would not have our breakfast here! Then we asked the front desk staff, and he kept saying that we needed to pay even if we were not told that only one breakfast was included, and no supervisor was available although it was already 9 am! The communication was far away from smooth. Although the bill was exempted in the end due to their previous mistake, we spent much more time and were not able to talk to any supervisor.

This property is certainly not a 5-star hotel. The service that I received from the Front Desk (especially Sebastian) is absolutely horrendous. This is our first stay and certainly our last time. We will certainly not come back and we certainly do not recommend this hotel.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff were always nice, quick to help. The shower handle broke late at night and within minutes of reporting it, there was a very polite and helpful maintenance person who fixed it quickly. I would stay at this property again.

The Hotel is located across the street from the Chetu Moc Park. Very beautiful, amazing green space. My wife and I took a lovely stroll through the park. On Sundays the city closes major streets for cycling, walking and running. We also took a walk to meet some friends in the Cuotemoc neighborhood. We felt safe and it was about 30 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to CDMX.

Located in Polanco and very close to Chapultepec Park, it was easy to walk around. The room was clean and facing the park so had a great time staying here. The food at the restaurant was good although a bit expensive. I’d recommend to walk around a go to nearby restaurants. (The restaurants are also on a costly side because of the location)
