JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco

What a perfect get-away for a couple's long weekend. The staff was the best, helpful and attentive. The concierge helped us arrange dinners and private tours of the pyramids. Loved the gym, pool (views for days) and spa (massage therapist was wonderful). Food was also very good. We felt pampered. The hotel was under some construction, but it didn't impact noise or quality of services.

Amazing hotel and great service. Great location in Polanco. There is a lot of construction happening on the first floor so there weren't as many onsite amenities as you'd like. Excited to go back and when it's all done.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff are lovely and the property is clean. The property is undergoing construction on the first floor, so the entrance and lobby are a bit chaotic. I didn't mind so much, but just FYI. The gym facility is fantastic.

First time visit to CDMX. Nice clean hotel with good facilities and warm friendly, and competent staff. For a first time visitor, this location was nice because it was very walkable with lots of green spaces and a plethora of restaurants and shops nearby. Shoutout to Liz at the Front Desk. She was so encouraging to me when I was wanted to venture onto the Metro when I was feeling tentative about it. She also gave well informed safety information as to where and when to go. Also, Karla the morning hostess in the restaurant knew me by name and room number after my first day. And chef Jonathan cooked my eggs perfectly over medium every day, which is so crucial in my mind to start the day off right and he was so warm and kind. The front drive staff were all hard working and knowledgeable. The concierge was helpful when I became ill - they showed me how I could get a doctor’s appointment at a nearby pharmacy which then set me up with some medication that had me feeling much better within half a day. There’s a nice pool deck area that’s quiet and relaxing. I didn’t swim, but just hung out there in a robe and lounge chair relaxing at the end of each big day of adventures. The pool and fitness area staff are all very welcoming and attentive. Housekeeping and laundry staff were also very thorough and provided excellent service and timely. Ubers always nearby as well as a continually present queue of more premium car services available as well.

At time of booking there was no notice informing that the property was undergoing a remodeling. Both the lobby and the restaurant area was closed upon arrival with very inconvenient facilities for guest. Furthermore, the pool and spa area were very limited from what you would expect for a 5 star hotel,

Booked for Executive level room but there are no lounge excess with it, usually all hotels have lounge excess with executive room, the hotel excuse was it’s under renovation but they didn’t offer any substitute, disappointing for the price I paid for the room.

This was the perfect place to stay when visiting Mexico City. Our room was, clean, well maintained and quiet. There were lots of great restaurants nearby. There is also a hop on, hop off stop across the road we took advantage of to see the city. The Archeological Museum is in walking distance and worth visiting.

Wonderful stay at the JW marriort in Polanco. The room was very clean, comfortable, and specious. All staff memebers were extremely kind and helpful regarding anything. The location was great with many restaurants and bars walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Location is great and very safe area with lots of high end dining and shopping options. Staff were nice. But room is not soundproof.

JW Marriott is in an excellent location in Polanco. ALL The staff is very courteous and super friendly. I only have two suggestions for the hotel that I think would make the guests even more comfortable. Provide more drinking water in the rooms. And our pillows were a little too firm. I would like to have softer pillows. Other than that JW Marriott is awesome.

Stayed 3 nights at the JW Marriott. Only major complaint was on Friday night and Saturday night there was loud music from the W Hotel next door. We were on the opposite side of the hotel on the 14th floor facing the park but it still wasn't enough. The party goes on until 4 am and kept waking me up. Only complaint I had for and overall great property.

Polished but incredibly friendly staff made the stay for us. Excellent waitress in the lobby restaurant, fast and friendly checkin, personable Caesar and door staff. The staff sent a bottle of champagne and cake for my partner’s birthday which was so special - thank you! Fantastic location. The hotel’s renovations are beautiful. The bed linens although clean were super stiff, and the only negative about the stay. 10/10 experience.

Booked a corner suite and was given a suite that was on the top floor but (2619) that only had a partial view of the park and a lot of other rooftops. Property was under renovation and it was embarrassing for work or social contacts. Boarded up from street view. I’ve stayed there and have recommended the property to friends. But….

Great place and big rooms

Service was good. Location is fantastic. Concierge was supposed to book us some dinners but really failed to finalize what was promised.

We were very happy with this hotel from the location to the very helpful staff. We met with the Concierge on the first morning we were there to review a couple of items we had booked through them via email prior to arriving. We had booked a pyramid tour on the Monday and the Concierge suggested we move it to Monday when the museums are closed, this is something we didn’t know until we arrived in Mexico City and it opened up Sunday for us when we went to Constitution Square and the Historical Area which was an awesome day! The room we first got was a great layout and had all the amenities we could need, but, there was noise coming from below that disturbed my sleep. After the second night of this happening, I mentioned it to the Room Service Server and before I knew it, I received a call from Front Desk offering for us to move rooms to avoid any noise. We moved and it was great, similar layout and it was quiet! I was very impressed with the attention to detail and friendliness of the employees. We will return!

Great location and walkable to various restaurants. Hard to get hold of anyone or front desk to request even water for room. No one answered the phone. Tried many times.

My friend twisted her ankle and the staff was very helpful connecting her with the on-call doctor.

I booked through Expedia for another day stay for family. The hotel should have asked me to re-enter my same credit card information for incidentals for the extended stay. They did not . As a result, the hotel refused to honor or accept my previously stored credit card. The hotel humiliated my family, and demanded that they pay for incidentals.

Excellent location, right across from the National Auditorium and the celebriity walk of fame. Close to several different museums and parks. Lots of options.

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco and can say quite confidently: it’s one of the finest urban luxury stays I’ve experienced (and I travel frequently). If your travel plans take you to Mexico City, especially the Polanco neighborhood, this hotel earns high marks across the board. Nestled in the chic Polanco district on Avenida Andrés Bello, the hotel is within walking distance of high-end shopping, dining and museums. It put me right in the center of Mexico City’s upscale, vibrant energy.

Located in a very pretty, upscale part of the town. They have a great staff, great good! We really enjoyed our stay at JW Marriott. We definitely recommend this hotel.
