Not enough parking space

Location was great. Bed was comfy. Room was smelly, Breakfast was discussing,compared to others. If the Health Dept would have come in the pool would have been closed down. Water was brown.

1. First assigned a room not accessible by elevator, must use stairs. My wife and i are seniors with mobility issues. We return to reception and eventually got a better room. 2. Elevators work, but extremely slow. 3. The sauna was out of service 4. Pool water was so bad could not see my feet , hope we don't catch an infection, when i spoke to reception they said they knew and were draining pool soon. If you know water is bad why let people use it. 5. Tv remote only partially working. Ramada good name is tarnished by this location

I stayed 1 night at hotel on 3/28/25, my car got stolen in their parking lot overnight that i have $10 for a day parking. I reported the receptionist has no sympathy then called the police came didn't find my car. Hotel said they had camera, the police wants to see the camera, their camera did not working that time asking police to come back when the manager there. I walked at the stairs way saw the guy stand there peed. Please don't stay in this hotel. Its not safe and friendly responsible ppl working there. they don't responsible for my car got stolen which was i have paid for the parking. The gate didn't closed when we parked there ..... the hotel was smell from carpet at the hallways.

Insufficient parking!!! Booked June 27 and 28. At the time of checking in, the front desk staff did not provide me a prior notice of the possibility that Ramada might not be able to provide sufficient parking for hotel patrons. I was not informed that the available parking is first come first serve, nor any alternate parking arrangements could be made in advance. I returned to the hotel before midnight, on June 28 and found all cars were double parked in the Ramada’s parking lot. I was provided alternate parking at the Marriot Courtyard, about 5 min walk from Ramada. I waited in line at Marriot to register for parking. By the time the process was completed with my car parked, I walked back to Ramada, alone, a female at 1:45 AM on Sunday morning. A one and half hours stressful and unnecessary ordeal that I did not need, as a visitor in a different city.

First off my car was stolen right out of the hotel parking lot right in front of the main door. The staff handled this very poorly. I was also promised that all my parking charges would be removed. I received a rental car and for 2 nights I had to park at the Marriott down the street and pay $10 each night and this was not refunded on my bill. Also, I was promised 10% off per night from the front desk manager and this was not applied to my bill on checkout. I had to argue with the gentlemen behind the desk. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The gate into the parking was purposely left open when my car was stolen which tells me this is an inside job. All the other nights the gate in and out were closed. I will never come back to this property or any Ramada again. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the worst experience I have ever had!

Pool was not what pics show. Weight room is terrible. Surprise pay for parking. 2/3 vending machines in lobby not working. Washroom near pool is disgusting Room was less than clean. & I unfortunately booked for two nights.

Room was ok but as the property is on side of highway. There was lot of noise and disturbance throughout. Pool was also not that good and Sauna was not working.

It was my first time at this Ramada but I booked a room because I trusted the brand. It’s in a busy part of Montreal and the building is older. This is all fine except that when I arrived in my room the door lock did not work. It had a plastic swinging door latch instead. I did express that the door lock did not work to reception and they called a handyman who said there was a trick to locking the door and that he would show me. He proceeded to show me how to unlock the door from the outside through the card swipe. I guess he assumed I was an idiot for not figuring out how to get into a basic hotel room. When I expressed that it was the INTERNAL lock that did not work he showed me that if someone was going to get into my room with the key that it wouldn’t stop them anyway and that the plastic swinging door latch was fine. I expressed that this was not ok and requested my room to be switched. I’m pretty easy going, but I do think a door that locks properly is a basic necessity (and ask). What is also unacceptable is that the person helping me (handyman), who treated me like an idiot, made it seem like I was the one with the problem about the door not being able to lock properly. To top it off — the morning after the stay I was checking out when a man (who also stayed at the Ramada) ran in, in a panic, telling reception that his car got stolen from the lot. It might be worth having someone from the Ramada organization do an audit of the building and location.

Overall, our stay was good for the price we paid for the room. It was close enough to the Bell Centre to make travel easy. Lots of options for food around the hotel. A few things to note: - Parking lot was incredibly small for the amount of rooms in the building, and cost an extra $10.00 We were fortunate enough to get parking both nights we stayed but I am sure some guests were not that fortunate. - The microwave was clean and worked well, but I had to move it to the floor to use it, as there was no where to plug it in where it was supposed to be. - Hallways are worn, elevator was shakey, but the room was decent. Definitely a little worn but overall solid. Shower was great. Bed was on wheels which was strange. - Stayed in the 500 section, and there was a small amount of repeating ambient noise that could be heard quite clearly without the air unit going. As someone with sensory problems, I am pleased the fan was loud enough to block the sound out. - Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about.

Not clean, noisy,

Les draps n'étaient pas propres. Il y avait une tâche de sang. Il y avait des poils sur le couvre-lit du 2e lits. Le système de chauffage faisait du bruit désagréable.

Pas d'eau chaude, la cafetière qui ne fonctionne pas. Le bain était crasseux et la peinture écaillée dans la chambre.

There were problems with the room. Smelled bad. Clock didn't work. Coffee maker cord did not reach any plug, too short. Dust on cabinet that held the TV, fridge and microwave. Elevator down button was broken on my floor. Coffee vending machine in lobby was broken. Restaurant closed after breakfast. Could not even get a snack. Floor of shower stall was slippery and dangerous. Had to ask for a rubber mat. Overall it was a stressful experience. Will not stay there again.

Hall d entrée très bien, ainsi que l accueil. Par contre la chambre c est une grande déception. Je pense que l aspirateur n avait pas été passé car miettes, cheveux.. Au sol. Le drap du dessous pas repassé. Meubles abîmés, lampes de chevet déchirées.... Il semblerait que la salle de bain à été refaite mais les toilettes n ont pas la même taille que les anciennes et cela donne une impression de pas propre.

Feels like the hotel is falling apart, you can't open the curtain blinds to view outside without being greeted by a colossal of dirt's by the window.. Feels like the window has never been cleaned over 10 or more years. The swimming pool change room very despicable, the lobby tiles also falling apart! The beddings are extremely dirty. We had to call for a change of all beddings and pillow cases immediately we checked in! Even the replacements feels like clothes' from rags! Very dirty and color already changed I believe what use to be white but now dirty cream. We had to throw all pillows on the floor and go buy new bed spread so we could atleast lay on the bed.

We saw many cockroaches during our stay here. We didn’t feel clean or safe. We highly do not recommend!!!!

Not clean dust everywhere don’t recommend it, bed sheets are not fresh.

Our experience at this hotel was far from pleasant. The towels had hair on them, the washroom was untidy, and the room had a musty smell whenever the air conditioning was turned on. The overall condition of the room suggested poor maintenance—it looked like it was falling apart. When my partner and I arrived to pick up our keys, a disheveled woman walked past us while speaking to the receptionist about another guest she believed to be unstable. Throughout our stay, we noticed several suspicious individuals loitering around the hotel’s facilities, including the parking lot, reception, and hallways, which made us feel unsafe. Given these issues, I would not recommend this hotel—especially for families or anyone seeking a clean and secure environment.

Our room faced Decarie Blvd. and was very noisy. Difficult to sleep. Door dead bolt did not work. Good price and nice continental breakfast.

Generally a decent place for a night stay or 2. Property is perched above a noisy highway and parking is very limited and tightly spaced, making for tricky maneuvering to exit. Wifi didn’t work and tv reception kept cutting out. Presumably this is a temporary setback.

Very noisy due to the room are direct to the side of the highway. heating cooling system very noisy. tv remote controller not working.

The room was ok. The fact that I could crank the heat up was amazing lol the uo and down the stairs woth luggage wasn't great

It was an old less maintained room. One of the light bulbs was not working, some bulb shard were torn/had holes in them.

Needed to climb 7 steps from elevator to access room floor.

Air conditioner was extremely loud, toilet was loose, and bathroom door gets stuck when closed,

The room felt sterile. Could have been warmed with just a few pictures onthe walls. The TV pixelated a lot. The staff at the desk were helpful. Especially the two women that were on Friday afternoon. That was October 31st.

It was a convenient location at a reasonable price. The room was updated and clean. It was big enough to have a sofa bed in there as well. The room I had was in an annexed building so there are some stairs to go up and down to get to it which isn't convenient with luggage. The doorway and windows were poorly insulated and it was very noisy. I had to put towels to stuff the gap at the bottom of the door to avoid hearing the neighbours door slamming and their conversations. I also heard a dog barking across the hall and the highway is right outside the window. I could've used earplugs. The pool could use a little updating, but the area was clean and it was quiet there. The included breakfast buffet had a decent variety of food choices. All in all it was a good bang for your buck stay, but not 5 stars.

Room is smaller than I expected, not enough lighting, no fan in the bathroom.

Can’t even give me late checkout after so much trouble I faced

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was especially helpful. The breakfast was adequate, although a waffle maker would have been nice. The lobby was well furnished and very inviting.

Tout était mauvais. 1. Le check in a pris 2 heures 2. On m’a change de chambre 3 fois car l’une bruyante et l’autre sans chauffage. 3. Pas de connexion à la wifi 4. Machine à café ne fonctionne pas 5. Chasse d’eau défectueuse donc l’eau coulait continuellement dans les toilettes. On a dû fermer la valve. 6. Le petit déjeuner à la limite du mangeable avec des assiettes en polystyrène de 1er prix et des couvert en plastique 1er prix. Plus d’œufs et des viennoiseries froides et vieilles. Très mauvaise expérience. Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel. Je demande un remboursement intégral. Merci.

Staff was very friendly and very willing to help with directions and offer good advice about how to travel through out the city. They were also very responsive to service questions and requests.. Would love to return to Montreal and will definitely stay at here again...

This is an old dated building, but my room was clean, comfortable, and the staff helpfully to help me with a problem with my cell phone. It is inexpensive and you get your money's worth

Room was clean and nice, staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast choices were good. The only drawback was our room was right on Decarie Blvd. and noisy. Overall good.

Location was great, walkable distance to shopping and food, staff was very friendly, room was very clean, after we booked we read some other reviews regarding unpleasant smells in the hotel, we did NOT experience this at all, in fact the lobby and hotel room both smelled clean, the furniture is a bit dated but again clean, we had no issues would stay there again

Was good, not to far from sight seeing.

A good place to stay within Montreal with easy access to almost everything and downtown being 15-20 mins drive. The only catch is there is no free parking within the premises, however you can park on the streets (backside of the hotel)

Was a very clean and quiet environment. Very easy to get to downtown via uber. And a few minutes away from a great mall and other views

This property was ideal for my needs. It has good transport links via metro and buses. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Microwave and fridge in room are a good option for light snacks etc. The breakfast was handy but limited choice. The hotel is in need of a revamp particularly in rooms, triple glazing on front windows to cut down highway noise. A bonus of beautiful sunsets at the front over highway looking towards the right.

Easy access to public transportation. Staff is friendly.

Perfect place to stay when it comes to budget concerns. Also, the hotel is located in midtown and just few minutes walk to tube station and bus stand just outside makes it even convenient. overall, budget friendly, clean and conveniently located in midtown montreal.

Fairly central location for access to highways.

Although the hotel is only a 10-15 min drive from downtown, and close to most amenities, the neighborhood doesn’t seem great- really run down. The hotel itself had major parking issues for paying guests - and even though your paying for parking per night there were nights you had to park on the road because the lot was full, the rooms are dated, and the pool was gross. The water was cloudy, felt slimy and not well maintained - hair floating around in it. It was disappointing- likely won’t stay there again.

the hotel is old, the AC is loud, and the breakfast is a joke. i booked my CFO there and i will never book that hotel again. its unfortunate the location is great midtown.

Breakfast was beans and boiled eggs. Coffee but no crème. Parking paid for up Front but no guarantee of it. Room was clean at less but only 2 bathtowels

Hôtel globalement conforme et OK, incluant l'accueil. Nous avions demandé à changer la chambre réservée, pour donner à l'arrière et éviter le bruit de la circulation continue même la nuit incluant des camions sur le boulevard Descarie (la façade de l'hôtel domine le boulevard). Les deux points critiques : aucune isolation phonique entre les chambres (on entendait la toux d'une occupante de la chambre d'à côté comme si on y était). Et surtout, il n'y a pas de vraie vaisselle pour le petit-déjeuner mais des assiettes / bols cartonnés (enduits de matière plastique et de pifaces, produits chimiques indestructibles et très nocifs) et de couverts en plastiques. Faire des économies au détriment de la santé des humains et de la nature, ça a des limites. Il suffirait de remettre en place de la vraie vaisselle et la chaine de lavage. C'est choquant et ça fait des tonnes de déchets inutiles, je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel.
