Excellent location and this is in the Chinatown neighborhood of Montreal. It’s a food haven with lots of restaurants and great food options around. Subway station is right across the street and it’s a 5 minute walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral. Breakfast in the restaurant is just ok for $33. It has a Chinese restaurant inside but never tried it as the food options outside there are excellent. Ample parking basement space available at $33 per day. Lifts were not working from basement levels to the floors and that was an inconvenience. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness has room for improvement, especially the common area and room carpet was not cleaned properly. It’s an old property and that shows at times through cleanliness. Overall excellent property at a strategic downtown location.

Nice hotel in the heart of Montreal’s Chinatown. Nice touches like the Koy pond, and room nice. But in the high tourist season was annoying that only 2 of 4 elevators working- meant long delays or taking stairs (impractical for luggage when we were on the 7th floor),

The facility is old and needs an update such as the carpet and there is no USB charge outlet. The location is excellent and walking to the old town takes only 5 minutes. I hope there are more electric charges for EV. Currently there are only two and one of them is broken. And a sign needs to be posted next to the charger saying "if your car is not an EV, do not park there!"

Convenient location, close to hop on hop off bus stop and the old town. Great tasting good value noodles just over the road. A few homeless nearby a block or two away, but not in anyway threatening, but some begging. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Carpark under the hotel safe and secure.

Bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Food was all around in Montreal. The only disappointment was the elevators were not working from the parking garage. It was busy so we huffed our bags up from the 3rd level. Reception is on the 2nd floor. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I selected this hotel because there was a pool. I asked the front desk when checking in what time it closed and they told me 11pm. The pool was out of order. I didn’t find out until 8pm when I went for a swim with my 4 year old.

First room we were put in was not maintained. There were stains on the chair, carpet was stained, and suspicious marks on mattress. After informing management who was very pleasant to talk to, we were moved to another room. It was better but still had carpet stains and a dusty AC unit. Underwhelming, especially given a nightly room rate that was comparable to better hotels in the same area. Common areas and rooms were outfitted with the same tired, worn carpets and upholstery. Couches and carpets were noticeably stained. Elevator floors were filthy. All else completely lacking in any vibe or character. Rather disappointing to say the least.

Great location. Bath was dirty which was very disappointing. Didnt want to give our son a bath in that. Air conditioner fan was not able to put on low and it was quite loud. Also, when we asked for a drop of dish soap from the kitchen to clean our sons bottle, it was made out to seem like a large favour. In the end it smelled like and seemed like they just put a pump of hand soap in the bottle.

Lovely, reasonably priced hotel in the center of Montreal. Pierre at the front desk was especially wonderful. The room was very nice, clean with a good bathroom. The only issue was the heat unit was not working well, but they offered to change us to a new room, also on the top floor.

Staff was great all around! Only thing I will say is our room was right beside the elevator so all we could hear all night was it going up and down, it especially didn’t help that they’re really old, and the heater in our room, every single time it would kick on me and my buddy got woken up, every time, because it sounds like someone heating up boiling water with a loud air blowing noise!

Stayed with my parents for a long weekend trip. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, especially in planning our trip around the city. The front desk had several maps, including city transportation, and one front desk person walked me through a whole day of getting to the different places I wanted to go with bus numbers and metro stops. She was wonderful!! The jacuzzi was relaxing and the pool refreshing. Had a door issue (that was my fault after locking myself out of my room because I gone through my parents door to leave) and the maintenance person was very helpful and was able to get me in. Highly, highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was also good with a few chinese options as well. I saw they also gave children cups of fish food to feed the koi in the indoor pond and they loved it!

The employees we encountered were excellent. They went out of their way to be kind, helpful and friendly. Even before we saw the accommodations, we knew that based on the employees, we would stay here again. The room was great, as advertised and the parking and being so close to everything was wonderful. Excellent location, across the street from a metro station. Chinatown and its many restaurants are just a block or two away. The area by the metro station, however, is a bit shaky and I'm not sure I would be comfortable there at night. My room was fine, except that the curtains were very thin and you could not get the room dark. I was on the other side from the sunrise and when I left my room in the morning I can see how bright it was by seeing the lights streaming out from under the doors on the other side of the corridor. I couldn't sleep in a room like that. The vending and ice machines on my floor were broken all week.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and highly recommend it. The staff are exceptional and made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's facilities and amenities exceeded my expectations. However, I had a less impressive experience at their associated restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was slow and lacking, particularly when it came to getting water. I requested it multiple times, but it never arrived. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was satisfying, and the coffee service was fast and friendly. Based on my stay, I would definitely consider booking the hotel again in the future, but I would be more cautious in my dining choices.

A great location to be sure. Can walk to old town and old Portugal within 15 mins. The negatives: great room but bed/pillows not too comfortable. Parking is fine bit expensive at $30/day. The upside versus cheaper options is that you can go in and out as much as you want. Beware..cheaper parking options do not let you in and out. DO NOT prepay the breakfast at $28pp. This is a canned breakfast of microwaved eggs,bacon, and rock head English muffins. The fruit was ok but not worth $28. There is a Tim Horton across the street and other options for much less. All in all, we would return to this hotel.

Amazing place to stay, close to all attractions, staff were incredibly helpful. Spent two nights here in September. Good hotel for tourists. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal. As far as the rooms go, didn’t spend a ton of time there but the bathroom (and the whole rooms too) was clean, the shower worked great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a decent bar in the hotel lobby. For a short tourist stay in downtown Montreal it is a nice, clean and affordable option. The room I stayed in did smell a bit like smoke on check-in but running the room fan for a few mins.
