Breakfast means going to the attached restaurant. Hotel needs some upkeeping. One elevator was down 4 out of 5 days and it was taking over a half hour to go 5 floors so ended up walking up and down the steps. Heater needs updating very nousy

A few issues were disappointing. Only one small elevator was working, the in-house restaurant was closed on Sundays and Mondays, the bathroom was very small with no towel racks and an awkward shower, the closet was also small with difficult noisy doors. It was quiet and basically clean and staff were friendly.

Right in the heart of downtown, location is simply perfect for office meetings in downtown or for access to bars, restaurants and shops. My room was comfortable and of a decent size. The fitness room is very basic but okay for a quick workout. Breakfast was not included but the on site café by the reception is efficient and reasonably priced.

We would not stay here again. When elwe checked in, we learned the restaurant and bar were closed down. Although the staff said it was noted on their website, they failed to notify third party vendors who sell their rooms, like Expedia, which we used to book the room. So we had no idea these amenities were not available at the time of booking. We requested some form of compensation since we would not have stayed at this hotel had we known these amenities were not offered. The receptionist said she would check if she could offer free breakfast, but the manager refused to provide that as recompense. Disappointing. The hotel is also rather shabby- it looks new and crisp on the photos, but it feels outdated and worn around the edges. The fitness room is a joke - my husband went down there to work out and did a 180 and came back up after seeing the abysmal facilities. He'd rather go for a run than use the "exercise lounge." Lastly, if you want ice (the tap water is tepid), you have to go down to the mezzanine level to a rather sad-looking floor every time you want ice. We will not be staying here again.

Rooms were small and dated. Shower door and toilet were not even 2 inches apart. Mattress was not comfortable. Elevators were extremely small and not reliable. Had to take the dirty service elevator several times. Hallways are extreme narrow. Restaurant - Cora’s has poor service and poor quality breakfast. Go to Oeuffrier on de La Montagne instead. Parking non existant on site. Have to battle the parked taxis upfront to load or unload your bags. Need to go down several stairs upon entry to hotel to reach front desk; not convenient Location is great ; close to Bell Centre. But that’s it. Won’t go back

Hotel doesn’t offer parking but there is a convenient, affordable parking garage down the street. THERE IS NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM and the fridge is not big enough for anything but a few water bottles. If thats not a problem for you, this hotel is a great and affordable choice perfect if you have an event at the bell center.

There was mold on shower floor and walls. The toilet was dirty. Was there for one night only had to wash up at the sink. Will never go back. This is not the place it used to be.

No, bathroom door did not lock or even close for that matter. Had to remove a sheet, when i pulled down the sheets a midnight to go to bed, there was a blood stain. Either it was stained after washing or the maid cut herself/himself and blood from that cut got on the sheets. Turned me completely off of my stay.

The room needs an overhaul. Small corner window which made the room dark. The air conditioner was full of dust, tables in room sticky, bathroom door was filthy. There was long black hair everywhere included in folded towels!!!!! There was a hole sloppily repaired. However, the staff were excellent and the location phenomenal.

It is located in a good area with lots of shopping venues within walking distance. The hotel is run down and the room was extremely small and in poor condition, extremely dated and dirty. I would not stay again and would spend the extra money for a better hotel of which there are several in the general vicinity. The pictures provided on the web site are very misleading and does not reflect the condition of the hotel in person.

Towels weren’t very clean and facecloth smelled like vinegar, couch was dirty, and bed was mediocre at best. I’ve stayed at Best Western Plus hotels in other cities and this location is by far the worst I’ve seen so far.

The room was ok pretty dirty. Not well maintained. Having to use the service elevator full of garbage for 5 out of the 7 days of our stay. We had booked 4 rooms and 3 were placed on the 4th floor while one was place on the 2nd floor. All the rooms were supposed to have microwaves and 1 out of 4 did. The hotel is in a great location but not worth the price. Most of the rooms didn’t get freshened up unless we asked for it after not being done.

The queen room was incredibly tiny even compared to an NYC room for the same price. The floor was dirty. The bed was a rock. The bathroom vanity was broken. The toilet was so poorly placed that you had to have your knees in the shower. The first night the water didn't work but that was Montreal itself shutting the main to do maintenance and all we were offered was bottled water. We then upgraded to a king room the second night which was nicer but the door handle was broken and that took them an hour to fix. The only saving grace of this two star was the staff was nice. We had the room non refundable but I would have refunded it.

Staff were great. Room was spotless. Location is great. Parking is quite close, in covered parking garage just down the street. However, the room doors are really thin - so I heard people walking down the hall talking, and even in the room across the hall from me! Luckily, I was not on a party floor. The hotel is great, but I recommend bringing earplugs just in case you get noisy neighbours.

Very clean, undergoing moderization. No recycle bins in room. Bed very comfortable. The ac/heater is noisy, but efficient. The only negative point is the room overlooked a laneway with industrial garbage bins. The issue was the pre dawn garbage collection.

I can only speak to the room I had and the two words that come to mind are dark and sparse. No need for room darkening shades because the small window faces an exterior wall so very little light comes in. Inside the room there is a small wall sconce by the door and two small reading lights at the bedside. That’s it. First time I have had to use my phone flashlight in a hotel room while all of the lights are on… at noon. In addition to sparse lighting, the furniture is minimal. There is a bed with attached night stands, a very small cafe table and chair, and a mini fridge in a small cabinet. In a decently sized room, this felt empty and uninviting. There is not a lot of table/desk space to work on a computer or set things down, not to mention no pictures on the wall, no drapes around the window, and no rug. The bathroom has sufficient lights and had been update but there were rust spots in the corners, a sloppy paint job, and hair on the tile floors. Also, no full length mirror. Check-in staff was super friendly. Sheets were clean and bed was comfy. Lots of food and shopping in walking distance.

The room itself was fine, comfortable bed, good staff, etc. The problem was the location next to an exit door that guests used through the night and our window was just above where renovations were taking place as early as 5:30 am so the noise from both of these conditions made for very poor sleep.

The room was good. There is a fundamental issue with the glass shower door being too high. Water from a shower continually leaks out as a result of gap. Other than that the room was clean, large, and had a small fridge which came in handy.

The room and hotel is very dated and lacking. They use the "Europa" banner as an excuse for small, minimalist and dated accommodations. I felt like I was in a rooming house with only sheers on the windows and full visibility into my room from the courtyard. Location was exceptional but certainly many opportunities for improvement.

The room was awful, the heating unit did not work so they transferred me to another room where the blinds didn’t work and then they transferred me to another room where again the heating didn’t work and then they transferred me to the lobby where I had to wait a half an hour for them to find me a suitable room and I finally got to my fourth room. The heating unit in the room was terrible. It was blaring like a freight train all night long and clicking sounds or being made every half hour it sounded like the door was unlocking. The front staff were terribly rude and I didn’t even have shampoo in the room. I also found hair in my towel. It was an absolute disaster. I would really not recommend this hotel for anyone awful experience.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. First of all, when I arrived, I was told I could park in front of the hotel for 20 minutes to unload my luggage. After only 3 minutes, I received a $97 parking ticket. This is extremely frustrating, and when I spoke with the staff, they simply said there was nothing they could do—despite the fact that they were the ones who told me I could park there. On top of that, the hotel does not have its own parking. The nearest option is about a 5-minute walk away, which is very inconvenient. Every morning we were woken up at 6 AM because of loud construction behind the hotel. The room itself was very disappointing—tiny, poorly designed, and completely different from the pictures shown online. The bathroom was extremely small, and the fridge in the room was broken. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel at all case is less then motel.

I got charged more than what my booking said. They did a system change during my stay so receipt doesn’t show whole stay. One transaction with my visa is missing on the receipt. I’ve sent 2 emails and called twice but still haven’t received any news. Another guest was checked in to our room during our stay. It was a good thing we didn’t lose anything in our room as the other guest had access to our room.

Great spot right in the heart of downtown. Once you get out of the hotel, within like 20m you are on Rue St. Catherine and within 2 to 3 block of the Eaton Centre. Lot’s of restaurants in the area and within like 20 minutes walking distance to Mont Royal, McGill, Musee de Beaux arts and Desjardin Complex. Rue St. Catherine is very lively, there was always people out and about even at night.

I just wish that the restaurant and bar would’ve open when we arrived back at the hotel after the concert. The sign said open until 11 and we arrived back at 9:30. There must have been 20-25 people all wanting to go to the restaurant

Good location. Decent breakfast restaurant. Good free coffee machine in lobby. Has a gym. Coffee in the restaurant was very weak. Rooms are clean and functional but nothing special. 30 minute walk to old Montreal/Port ( or $15 cab/uber). 1 block from Bell Centre.
