Charming hotel with great ambiemce. Room good and facilities OK. Parking very good. Bar comfortable especially for a late night drink. A wider choice of TV channels would be welcome - smart TVs would be a good investment.

Excellent hotel close to Oxford city center. You can park your car and use public transport as the bus stop is right across the street. The hotel has a nice traditional bar and a courtyard to sit outside. Staff are friendly, rooms are very clean and breakfast was lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again next time we visit Oxford.

Cotswold Lodge is a very comfortable hotel with great staff. It's on a bus route right in to the city centre that is quite convenient. There are some amenities that are absent - bar fridge, lift, room safe and AC (there was a heat wave on during our stay). We would stay there again but during cooler weather.

Very nice stay. Parking is limited, so be prepared to park on the street (at a cost) and the rooms have no air conditioning, so they are hot and sticky in the summer. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a lovely lodge and in walkable distance to the main city. The food in the restaurant was amazing but a small menu and a bit pricey. Lots of parking and helpful staff.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Unfortunately, it was uncharacteristically hot during our stay and the windows don't open and there is no air conditioning. Only a little crank window above the window opened, but not far enough to get much air. They provided us with a little fan, but it didn't do much. I might suggest either putting in windows that open or providing guests with a portable air conditioner. Other than that, it was fantastic!

Beautiful heritage hotel. Breakfast was excellent value and selection. Walkable to city centre and also on major transportation routes, including the hop on hop off bus ( very convenient). There is no elevator, which the hotel was clear about but the Expedia site got wrong. The heritage rooms are worth the fee, although located on upper floors.

The hotel is a quaint, beautiful English inn. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed, including a spa-like bathroom, very comfortable bed and window into lavender filled courtyard. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location just on the fringe of the city center was quiet yet very walkable.

Great location very close to city centre and competitive price. Room small but well appointed. Clean bathroom, shower a bit weak. Door and walls of the room not very sound insulated! Good breakfast and comfy bar area with lots of seating / lounge. Very friendly, efficient and capable staff.

Staying in the classical style rooms in the main hotel is definitely the way to go here. Our room was spacious, charmingly appointed, and quiet. It's a bit of a walk into central Oxford, but we found this a welcome respite from the noise in the center. Would recommend to friends.

high quality of service and friendly staff. Very kind of them to let us park for the whole day whilst visiting city. Although the bed in our 'Double room' was comfortable, we found the room very small for the price paid. As it only had a small window it was so very warm during the hot weather. There did not seem to be anyway of cooling it. The hallway was however nicely air conditioned.

This place is a little gem - rooms very comfortable with free bottled water tea and coffee. Service and staff are amazing. Our first stay here as very convenient for the Town Centre - certainly will not be our last. Well done to all the staff and management here - keep it up - the word is out!

The building is beautiful, the parking is on site, and the breakfast was amazing! Just a friendly reminder that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. DO NOT BOOK a room unless you can confirm it has a balcony, otherwise, you are in a room that has a tiny window that only opens about 5 inches and you have zero circulation. I booked six rooms and two of us had the non-balcony rooms and we were a sweaty mess all night. Also, the front desk (four different employees) were easily confused. They messed up the room assignments twice and we lost alot of time checking in while trying to help them. During check out, they also got confused on our key returns which slowed us down again. Not sure I would stay again to be honest.

I did not think the staff on welcome desk were welcoming or well informed. On the Sunday morning of my stay, a road race was to close the roads in the area. I was told I would have to park at the Hospital or in a town centre car park, both very inconvenient. It was perfectly easy to park in a nearby road ( free) very near the hotel. It was poor, incorrect and unhelpful advice by hotel staff.

We stayed for a couple of nights mid week, and it was easy to get to, driving in the car, good parking facility, and its position couldn't have been much better, we could walk into the city centre in less than 20 minutes! The one thing I would like to see, is a better deal on inclusion of breakfast during your stay. Chris, the restaurant and bar manager moved pretty fast, all of the time, and was very efficient.

Having a conveniently located hotel with free onsite parking was great. Walking is easy from the hotel to shops and colleges. The bus line is also nearby. The staff were helpful with directions and recommendations touring Oxford.

It's a 10min stroll through the parks to the city centre. There are excellent pubs and restaurants right across the road. In 5mins you can get to Jericho which is full of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The parking is great, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the facilities were decent and the breakfast was excellent! My only criticism was the bedroom was a little stuffy but it wouldn't stop me from staying here again, I would just take an upstairs room where I could lewge the window open!
