10 minute drive from the city centre. Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, there is no lift for the upper floor but it is only 2 floors. The breakfast buffet is a good choice of cooked or cereal, shame there isnt any evening meal facility. I personally wouldnt have thought the hotel was 4 star, as many other 4 star places I have stayed at have more facilites. Overall, a nice stay.

We didn't want to drive around or park in Oxford so looked for a hotel on the outskirts with easy access to the city. We could not have chosen better than the Remont, a 2 minute walk to the bus stop, every time we went there was a bus there in minutes, just a short ride into the city. The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly and the breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice. The hotel was clean and modern, there was parking at the front and a lovely garden at the back.

Small bed but comfortable,easy access to Oxford either walking 45 minutes or bus 10 minutes regular service. Unfortunately we had a room at the front of the building and there was constant traffic noise no air conditioning so had to open windows. No blind in bathroom which overlooked the main road. Looked clean but on further examination lots of dust in corners skirting boards,corridors full of dust and needs redecoration. Now the positives breakfast room well decorated and light breakfast excellent full English,fruit yoghurts and cereal and cheese available friendly efficient staff. Onsite parking okay. Nice garden with patio and furniture could do with a little tidy up.

We were extremely surprised that this hotel is considered a 4-star hotel at all. The room given to us definitely needed some deep cleaning and upgrading to meet the 4-star bar: the shower head was leaking and spraying water upwards, paint was peeling, the caulk was turning black in the bathroom, there were stains on the toilet bowl, and dust was accumulating in less-used parts of the room. On the plus side, the staff was definitely very friendly and helpful.

Great bed, plenty of pillows, WiFi went down and they responded instantly. Good breakfast, full English, buffet style. Noisy road, dirty coffee cup in room, mold on rubber shower partition, 90% certain that the bathroom fan didn’t work, had to use the tub stopper chain to tie the shower head up.

Avoid the upper floor and Room 20. The direction to our room took us up a narrow stairs. The walls were badly marked and the carpet hadn’t been introduced to the vacuum for some time. The room carpet was stained, and the piece of carpet in the window alcove was separated from the rest by a margin. The curtains were flimsy and didn’t contribute to excluding street light or vehicle noise. The bathroom was a lab for black mould on the wood frame of the velux window. It was decorated with a cobwebs. The floor had cracked tiles. The overhead shower in the bath worked well for the one of us who was 5’2” but not so good for the other one. We had really wanted to abandon ship but we had some urgent things to do that afternoon and early the day after so doing so wasn’t really an option. Avoided breakfast. A bit greasy. We chose this place because it was close to where we needed to be, it had four stars and a good rating. Really! Photos on my other device.

Lovely 2 night stay here. Room was spacious, tea and coffee facilities. Room was over all clean, a couple of areas needed more tlc. Breakfast was buffet style and it was very nice, plenty of choice, from fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast. Bus stop handy to get in and out of town. Would recommend and would stay again! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was surprised by the broken elevator (after specifically looking for a place with an elevator) and the traffic noise was a surprise, but overall, this is a comfortable place to stay. Without A/C it was necessary to have the windows open, and rooms on the front side will hear considerable traffic noise as this is a largish 'house' type property just off the road. The front desk person and breakfast staff, really the only staff I encountered, were friendly and helpful. The rooms (I stayed twice, before and after a conference, in different rooms) were both clean and comfortable with everything I needed, and the breakfast is good. It isn't a grand hotel, but more a 'home away from home' with a hotel vibe. I would happily stay again and recommend it to others. Do know, though, that getting into Oxford proper requires transportation, whether personal car, taxi or bus. The hotel is actually in Summertown, an Oxford suburb, and very pleasant in itself.

Hotel it self is absolutely fine, I’ve stayed there a few times in the past, but this time I was in room 10, which unfortunately is above the main entrance, the noise was constantly loud until after midnight, which meant that I was extremely tired when I went for breakfast and work, and had a long drive after that, Bobby on reception to inform, so won’t be staying again

This was a wonderful property! The owner/manager met us when we arrived. He was very professional and friendly. Parking was great. The room was perfect: clean and fully stocked with supplies. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection of choices. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a glorified BnB with poor service. Lift does not work. No facilities that one would expect from a 4 star hotel. No one at reception unless you ring a bell. Can not adapt breakfast for allergies. Sheets crisp, bed comfortable and towels fluffy but that’s it. Disappointing.

Staying at the Remont was the best decision. The staff is super friendly. Alex made our check in a seamless procedure. And the night shift was super helpful in obtaining a cab for us to get to the bus station. He made sure the cab driver knew exactly what we needed. I would recommend staying at the Remont if you are visiting Oxford.

The hotel was a typical European hotel with small rooms. The staff was excellent and helped us get to all the places we had planned to visit. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel which made it easy to get around. We don’t spend much time in our hotel room so the room is really not our main focus. The hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Customer service was fantastic, I arrived late and left early each morning before breakfast. Although I couldn’t make a full breakfast they opened the room early so I could have some coffee and a continental breakfast. Going above and beyond to make me feel welcome.

The staff were lovely. The room was nothing special. It is not a four star hotel standard - no air con, kettle that did not have a long enough lead to be used on the dressing table. However the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice and there was a garden area to sit. The staff were helpful about letting us leave the car there before check-in. The location suited us - good for Oxford and for getting to Blenheim

Had a lovely stay at Remont. Good location about a 30/40 minute walk into Oxford. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Has parking and offers bed and breakfast which is an added bonus. Only downside is the rooms are quite close together so can be a bit noisy. Otherwise a great stay. Would return again 😊

Clean good sized rooms. Very friendly staff. Beds and pillows a bit firm for my personal taste, but that might not be a problem for everyone, and I could still sleep. A fair way from city centre, but the buss stops just outside quite often and takes you to town in 10 minutes, and Summertown Shops are quite close. Breakfast was pretty good, toast, bacon, sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, hash browns, sunny side eggs, scrambled eggs, orange and apple juice, some mixed fruits, yoghurt, cereal and milk, croissants, butter, nutella and jams for spreads, some cheese sticks, ketchup and sauce, tea and coffee. Most people should find something to get their day started, but if I'm going to nit-pick it would be about there only being toast for bread, no darker bread or breakfast rolls or anything of the kind, and also a limited selection of bread toppings if you don't like jam/marmalade on your toast. No meats or sliced cheese (I guess you could cut up a cheese stick and put on if you really wanted to), or cream cheese.

This is a nice hotel. They serve a great breakfast including options for gluten free and vegan. The bed was comfortable yet I thought the pillow was hard, but the staff found me a more comfortable pillow instead. They are very helpful. It is a short walk to the Oxford bus system and that made it very easy to get into the city center. I would easily stay here again!
