Very nice rooms and modern! You would not get bored at this hotel at all. Just wish they had room service

Like all Mama Shelters in Europe I've been in, this is a hip and modern hotel. Really nice rooms and comfortable beds. Great staff, good food and drink on 1st floor. No room service, so get out of your room and go eat with the other humans downstairs. Rooms do not have kettles or coffee pots and no tea/coffee or mugs even. So if you don't have a portable hot water maker, you'll have to again go downstairs for a coffee or tea. Minor tradeoff to an otherwise terrific hotel in a very walkable area with many shopping and dining options. Access to trams and buses to other key areas of Prague are very close and very reliable.

The hotel's stylish and playful aesthetic was novel and interesting. The lobby had retro games machines, and pool, snooker, and football tables, and relaxed seating areas. The rooms were cosy, comfortable, and quiet, and the ambient lighting was perfect for peaceful moments alone or having late-night guests over. The minifridges were a neat little addition to the rooms for keeping refreshments from nearby stores such as Lidl. A bonus would've been a small espresso machine. The hotel's continental breakfast was varied and tasty and the late night cocktails were strong and tasty; just how they should be. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Prague. The hotel is incredibly good value for money and it's in a prime location for visiting the more central areas of Prague.

Good location - albeit being slightly off-centre, the tram connection was super convenient, only <2mins to the station. The room was clean and warm, but note that room does not have a kettle. Breakfast option was on expensive-side, and we ended up eating at nearby cafes which were all very delicious. The mini game station in the lounge was more fun than we thought. The staff speaks okay english, and although there were some occasions with difficulties in communication, they tried to be helpful all the way through.

Eclectic hotel. I liked the bar area and friendly staff. Good breakfast and easy parking.

The hotel and bar/restaurant were faultless. The hotel is also situated outside the tram stop, which takes you near the Old Town.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Öffis vor der Türe und damit in ein paar Minuten in der Innenstadt. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Terrasse ist super schön.

Mama Shelter Prague was a great hotel - cool amenities with free pool, foosball and arcade games in the lobby. Nice patio and restaurant. The rooms were clean and really nice. The area of Holesovice isn’t the nicest but it was an easy 30 min walk into Old Towne and around to see the main tourist sites of Prague. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is great and the restaurant is really good. I feel that the parking is too expensive though

The entire roads around the hotel are torn up and being worked on constantly. Lots of noise and some navigation to access the hotel. Breakfast excellent. Very Mama fun kitsch. Didn’t like the all in one soap-not shampoo. Very fun hotel with free pinball!!

Our room was full of bedbugs. We have not been able to sleep since we got home due to the itching bites.

This was my second trip to this hotel. The toilet did not work well, but they did send someone to fix it. There was mold in the bathroom, which should have not been there. Many of the nice touches were not there this time. Last time was far superior.

La chambre était petite, sans plateau de courtoisie, une bouteille d'eau gazeuse pour un séjour de 6 nuits. Salle de bains difficilement chaude (malgré thermostat au maximum) Ménage minimum uniquement dans la salle de bain, pas de passage d'aspirateur en 6 jours( alors que miettes de chips),pas de changement des verres utilisés et sales pourtant laissés en évidence. L'emplacement géographique et le petit déjeuner ont permis de rendre ce séjour plutôt agréable

I was disappointed with Mama Shelter Prague versus other Mama Shelter locations. The cleanliness of the room was way below expectation. If we left a glass with some liquid inside to get changed/cleaned, the glass would be there, dirty. The pijamas was simply thrown on the bed. The breakfast was until 10:30, but at 9:30 the croissants, and other items, were finished, there was no replacement..at 9:30!!

Das Hotel war sehr enttäuschend. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Haare im Essen, Haare im Zimmer, Kaugummi auf dem Teppich im Aufzug. Der Aufenthalt war für uns kein Genuss.

Välstädad och rent. Trevlig personal.

The location is nice and the staffs are very helpful but the cleanliness could be better. The pillow is extremely soft.

Loved my stay at Mama Shelter Prague! The rooms were super nice and clean, with plenty of space. The shower was amazing, and the beds were so comfy—I slept like a baby. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, making everything so easy. Highly recommend staying here! Also I loved the quirkiness of the hotel and the decor. Would definitely recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Mama's Shelter! The room was spacious, the bed was super comfy, and the bar/lobby area was very cool. We loved the free billiards and arcade games, and our dog loved the easy access to grass (which is often hard to find in the city). The location was really convenient for us. Took less than 10 minutes to get into the heart of the city on public transport, with the tram station right next to the hotel (plus there's a ticket machine inside the hotel lobby!). There's also a stack of cool restaurants and a mall within walking distance. The only negative - and it's quite minor - is that the room got quite warm at night and we were unable to adjust the AC.

The property was very nice and the room was comfortable. My only criticisms would be for better room lighting and firmer pillow options.

A minha experiência foi muito positiva. Um ponto alto é o atendimento dos colaboradores do hotel, todos muito educados e prestativos. O quarto é amplo e fica próximo à estação de tram. No hall, há algumas máquinas de fliperama, mesas de bilhar e pimbolim. O café da manhã é muito bom. O único ponto negativo é que achei o quarto um pouco escuro.

Had a three night stay here, we stayed in a "Large Mama" room which was spacious. The room had a very large TV which offered streaming, chromecast etc. The room had a sufficient number of power points and offered some USB charging though these were slow and one pair didn't work. There is also a basic mini-fridge in the room which is always a welcome bonus. The storage in the room is extremely limited offering a couple of baskets, a shelf and some totally open hanging space, would have liked some cupboards or drawers. If you were here a week it would look quite messy. There is a desk and a single armchair to sit in. The lighting in the main area of the room at night is far too dim, you certainly wouldn't want to try and work in the light level offered. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets good quality but the pillows were incredibly soft and did not find them particularly comfortable. The bathroom is very nice and the shower extremely powerful and lovely and hot, the "solid toiletries" are a bit odd, glad we brought our own. The Air conditioning was inadequate. I want a control where I choose the temperature not "make it 1-3 degrees warmer or caller" The style of the hotel is very modern and exuberant, lots of colours and things to look at....I very much enjoyed the old school arcade machines that have hundreds of old emulated computer games on them. There was also table football, ping pong and various other things about the place.

Very impressive hotel and great room, excellent bed and clean. Only gripe was the AirCon. You can’t control it in your room, it works same for all. Window open too noisy, but 22C first night eat too hot

Great hotel, great bar and decor. Only negative was the room temperature was stuck at over 23 degree celsius in November, it was too hot to sleep comfortably and the thermostat did not work.

I had high hopes since it was over $100USD/room per night, but certain things were off. Like, you can't control the heat. Nice heavy blanket on the bed, but it was too hot in the room (The staff said they keep heat on til midnight, then turn it off). The doors slam and you can hear people through the walls. Woe to you if you stub your toes on the solid metal bed legs which is very easy to do in the small room. Super helpful was a tram stop nearby, as the ride to the center is 25-30 min. Until I asked at the desk about a hot water kettle on the second day of my stay nobody mentioned or offered one. You can have it for a 500czk deposit (fine, but why not offer it upon check-in?)

While room was spacious, the lighting was poor.

I enjoyed staying at Mama Shelter Praha, it’s quiet and easy to get to the center via public transportation. The only thing they would want to consider is a coffee maker.

Mama Shelter Prague was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, they even left a dog bed, toy, and bowl for use while we were visiting. Parking was easy, the public transport was just down the block, I loved this hotel. I would go back anytime! The daily cookies are a nice touch too!

The staff were lovely and accommodating always happy to help day or night. The room was clean, bins emptied daily and bed made as well as a fridge. Free games in lobby, free movies in the room, public transport tickets available in the Lobby with recommendations from staff. The hotel was a short 15 minute tram ride to centre, 35 minutes walk through the park to Prague Castle and gardens. The staff realised it was my birthday and left a cake in my room when I returned. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Nice and clean lovely to have soap, body cream, waters provided. Some of Staff in the restaurant and reception were a little sharp and not very customer friendly. I could see it was because it got belly at some point in the restaurant but the reception was quiet and felt a bluntness.

Reception team is very helpful and amazing, Everything was really going well til the bartender last night, we were asking for a bottle of still water, he served us after 5 minutes although he walking around doing nothing, when he served a cold bottle of water we asked him to get a room temperature water, he said they only have cold water from the fridge which is very unusual, they should have in the store. He is not professional at all, he didn’t even say hello.

Rude reception ,terrible service

J'adore les hotel mama shelter. Ici la localisation est tres bien, la deco sympa, et le petit dejeuner de qualité. Le gros bémol de cet hotel est la réception. L'accueil nest pas du tout a la hauteur de l'hôtel, pas chaleureux. Et surtout pas de service rendus, jai payé pour le petit dejeuner, malheureusement le dernier jour j'ai du partir a 6h50 (le buffet ouvre a 7h00), j'avais anticipé et demandé a la réception de le prendre a emporter. Cependant, au final rien n'etait pret ils navaient pas eu le temps de le preparer, et pour autant ils n'ont meme pas proposer de me le preparer rapidement (sachant que le buffet etait deja prêt). Bref, décevant, le moins bon des mama shelter que jai eu la chance de tester.

Check-in was a bit slow, but I arrived around 8 PM alongside a family who hadn’t booked in advance. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for me—just a 20-minute walk to Old Town and the castle, depending on your route. The bar and games on the ground floor were fantastic, and the bar staff were welcoming and polite.

Very nice place friendly and helpful staff.

The stay was fine but front desk management is questionable. After leaving, we were accused of stealing some hair dryer. Instead of asking if we have seen it in the room, front desk straight up accused us of stealing it and requested us to pay a fine of 110€. Later it turned out, someone else took the hair dryer. Left a bitter taste in our mouths, could have done managed better

Goed te bereiken, tram stopt voor de deur, goede bedden, heerlijk ontbijt, goede service bij de receptie, leuk ingericht met aparte facetten.

A great value & a perfect location (15 by tram to Karlov Most).

Hotel was very nicely furnished and for a great price nice and close to the city centre. Had a ticket machine in the foyer and a tram stop right outside meaning you could get anywhere very easily.

Ett bra och rent hotell med nära till kollektivtrafik. Perfekt för dig som inte vill bo "mitt i" men ändå nära. Rummet var lagom stort och rent. Går att köpa biljett till kollektivtrafiken i automat på hotellet. Det finns ett mindre shoppingcenter bredvid hotellet med både restauranger och blandade butiker, något för alla. På hotell fanns även biljard, bar, restaurang, men inget vi besökte/använde.

Super gelegenes Hotel nördlich von Prag. Zu Fuß in 25 min in der Stadt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Park der unweit vom Hotel entfernt ist.

Hotel was very clean, it was in a peaceful area and only few steps away from a bus/tram station making it easier for you go to to new town or old town in trams and buses.

Good hotel within a moderate walk or very short transit ride to the center of the city. Well worth the money we saved by not being in the direct city center.

Really good location, 30 seconds from the tram which is only 15 mins into city, and also a shopping centre behind you and a really nice park 10 min walk away, staff were really helpful and nice, rooms were clean and comfy the bed was sooo comfy, would definitely recommend and will stay again

Love the place, foods is really do recommend the hotel restaurant and bars, breakfast selection is really good and lovely too, good friendly staff and good location not too far from the old town with 30 minutes walk if you fancy walking around and see Prague or 10 minutes by trams which is right outside the hotel too.

Alles top, leuke inrichting, fantastisch ontbijt, gezellige vibe.

Det här hotellet håller inte riktigt måttet. Har bott på Mama Shelter i andra städer där det varit bra men besviken på det här stället. Kaos i frukosten, stökigt och smutsigt, ingen tar hand om borden, man får städa själv efter andra gäster och torka bord. Rummet ganska slitet med sunkig fläckig heltäckningsmatta. Smutsiga toaletter i lobbyn. Ouppmärksam barpersona som bara står och snackar med kollegor utan att ta notis om gästerna. Skulle inte rekommendera Mama Shelter Prag tyvärr. Finns många andra bra hotell i samma prisklass i stan.

Really eclectic hotel - super fun! Enjoyed the games (foosball and Pool) and the vibe of the place. Comfortable clean rooms and right next to the tram for easy access to surrounding areas. One point is the breakfast, is repetitive so for stays longer than 2 days it gets quite monotonous, would be lovely if they offered omelettes and not just the mass produced scrambled eggs - but croissants made up for this, they were great!!

The hotel was in a geat location walking distance of everyrhing if you like to walk like me, room was comfortable but the cleanning of the room was no too good i did tell the front desk but nothing was fix, breakfast was really good and tasty but i think for dinner and breakfast they dont have to many staff soo service is very slow. For the price was good
