We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would happily come back. My wife and I stayed in a double room, while some friends stayed in another double room. We had asked the hotel in advance if it would be possible to have the rooms close together, and they kindly arranged this for us — the rooms ended up being quite close to each other on the same floor, which was very convenient. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything you would typically need. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They also kindly allowed us a one-hour late checkout, which we really appreciated. What impressed us most, though, was that they somehow noticed it was my birthday and surprised me with champagne and a cake in our room. We hadn’t mentioned it or asked for anything, so it was a genuinely lovely and unexpected touch that made our stay feel special. Breakfast was good, although not quite the highlight of the stay. The gym was also perfectly sufficient for a hotel gym, with enough equipment for a basic workout. The location worked well for us. It’s in a quieter area away from the main tourist crowds, which we really liked, although it is slightly outside the immediate city centre. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent service, thoughtful personal touches, and staff who clearly go the extra mile for their guests.

We had four fantastic days at Hermitage! When we arrived we got a little disappointed because we didnt get the view we had booked (cityview), but the response from the front desk was amazing. We got a new, bigger and better room, and had one of hour best stays at a hotel ever. Thanks once again!

Hermitage Hotel Prague was one of those rare hotels where you arrive with high expectations and leave wondering whether you should simply move in permanently. The room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The beds were so good that getting up in the morning became our greatest challenge in Prague, considerably harder than climbing the hill to Prague Castle. Everything felt modern, calm and well maintained, without losing the character of the building. The staff were genuinely excellent: friendly, professional and helpful without ever feeling forced or overly formal. Every interaction was easy, warm and efficient. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is also superb. It is peaceful enough to get a proper night’s sleep, yet close enough to the centre that Prague’s sights, restaurants and public transport are easily accessible. It was an excellent base for exploring the city as a family. Breakfast deserves a special mention. There was plenty of choice, the quality was consistently high, and even a selective child could find something to eat, which, as all parents know, is practically the hospitality equivalent of winning a Nobel Prize. The hotel restaurant was another very pleasant surprise. Hotel restaurants can sometimes feel like a convenient last resort, but this one was genuinely excellent. The reception and wait staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was in a quiet location and the rooms were modern and clean. Despite our room being next to the elevator bank, we never heard them. The breakfast was a great value, delicious, and included in the room cost. We had dinner the first night in the hotel restaurant and it was really good. The hotel was a 15-18 minute tram ride to the Old Town via a couple of different starting locations 5-6 minutes walk from the hotel. The river is 5 minutes away and one could walk 35 minutes to the Old Town along the river. Nearby there were some decent restaurants, and a good ice cream spot near the river. About 8 minutes walk from the hotel was a botanical gardens that were interesting and peaceful.
