Great location within walking distance of most of Old Quebec. Hotel organized and clean and was easy to enter the property and rooms with the virtual assistant Staff available if needed. Highly recommend!

Perfect location only minutes from the Fairmont Hotel and Old Quebec City. The room was nice. It is a very old building but the bathrooms are modern. Air condition works. There is no staff. You will receive codes for the main entrance and your room. There is no elevator so If you have trouble climbing stairs make sure to book a downstairs room for a surcharge. PS: if you are traveling with a car be sure to reserve your parking space well in advance as there are only 4 small spaces available behind the hotel.

Excellent place to stay in old city Quebec. Right in the center, near all attractions. Beautiful building interior. Air conditioner didn't work in our room, but the staff addressed the area quickly, despite there not being staff directly on site, There are only limited parking spaces available on site, and parking is some distance away, so reserve a parking space with your room.

My stay started with too good air conditioning (~16C) and a freezing room, but almost got a handle on the air con and enjoyed my nights at the hotel.

My stay at Le Clos Saint-Louis Hotel was below my expectations. Pros: * Excellent location in the heart of Old Québec. * Beautiful Victorian décor, transports guests to the Victorian era. Cons: * No reception desk. Everything is handled by phone, making it difficult to get assistance, especially at night. The advertised vending machine was also out of service. * No luggage storage. We were directed to a partner hotel, where the staff member was rude and our luggage was left in in the store where she worked rather than in a secure storage area. The other option was leave the luggage behind the reception desk in our hotel, which is an open area * NO RESTROOMS - it was the worst - no restrooms before check-in. After an overnight flight, I was told to use public restrooms in the city. * Very noisy rooms. I understand that this is a historic building and that preserving its Victorian character is part of its charm, but I could clearly hear the guests walking in the room above us. * UNFAIR early check-in policy. I paid extra for early check-in, yet another guest who hadn’t paid was told her room might already be ready. That felt unfair and disrespectful to someone who paid for early check-in. If I wanted a late check-out, I would have to pay an additional fee again. I understand hotels may charge for early or late check-in/out, but policies should be applied consistently. Better customer service and a little more flexibility would have greatly improved my experience.
