The hotel needs updates. Many things were out of order for either all or part of our stay. There is only one ice machine in the hotel and it wasn’t working. A luggage lift is required to access the floors with wheeled luggage or a luggage cart but it was finicky and did not work when we arrived. Our shower drain was not working and we had to have it fixed. The coffee pot in our room did not work. The cleanliness was slightly below average. The pool area was nice but the pool deck was extremely slippery. The lifeguards also enforced “rules” on patrons speaking languages other than French but did not correct improper behavior by several groups of pre-teens speaking French. The parking situation was also well below average. The parking lot was not properly cleared and there was several inches of snow and ice everywhere. The room was small and a bit cramped, but it did have Murphy beds which we chose not to fold up. Overall the hotel met our needs but we are unlikely to stay there again.

I didn’t love that the pool was crowded all weekend, should be hours for adults only maybe 9-11pm? The hours online weren’t accurate to the actual hours for the pool, restaurant, etc. Overall very clean, staff were very nice, and it’s a decent price. Although there weren’t many outlets close to the bed. As someone who doesn’t have kids, I found it annoying how loud kids were outside the room at 7am. Great for families, not as much for a child free couple.

Great hotel, pool is small for the amount of visitors, very full and hard to move around most times with so many inside. Sadly We had to take the little kids age 5-10 out when the bigger young teens started playing and splashing. Jungle gym is fantastic, its in the pool area but kids have to change and be dry before going inside, same for the bounce houses, dry clothing only. Not enough seating at all, maybe 20 chairs, our towels, water bottles, dry clothing had to be stored in the wet floor otherwise we would have to make the hike back to our rooms each time. Rooms are great, enough space and storage, comfortable beds, big bathroom, fairly clean. Activities were ok, we did face paining but it’s the first activity in the morning so it last maybe 1hr before you head to the pool for it to wash off. They also had during our stay friendship bracelet making, the kids could choose 6 reg beads and the princess would make it for them. Balloon fun where someone make a balloon for the kids. Live music played in the pool area in the evening. Each of the activities had only 1 animator so you will need to plan to wait 20-35 mins in line. Overall fun stay, would go back again.

While its great to have an indoor pool with a down south vibe, it is not accessible for those in a wheelchair. They do have an elevator that could service the pool area but we were told it has been "broken" for 2 years. When a large part of your properties draw is the pool, having it not be accessible hurts. They do offer great activities for kids though!!!!

Good hotel for families with kids. The rooms were nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. However the hallways were humid and hot, the pool was small and always super overcrowded. The bouncy castle wasn’t clean, and half the arcade games didn’t work. Still fun for the kids however if those improvements are made it would be a much more enjoyable experience in the future!

J’ai passé deux nuits à l’hôtel Jaro Qc. Ayant été dans d’autre Jaro avant, je connaissais le style de ces hôtels. Malheureusement, celui -ci m’a beaucoup déçus. Tout d’abord, j’ai pilé sur des chips dans la chambre. Clairement le ménage n’avait pas été bien fait. Nous avions accès à notre chambre seulement à 5h. La piscine; impossible de bouger. Tellement de gens au pied carré. Il y avait un lifeguard mais celui ci ne faisait pas respecter les règles et regardait son cellulaires. Le reste était correct.

Your rooms are in very nice condition and are very clean. However, the rest of the hotel is not you need to take the level of cleanliness in your rooms and put that in the rest of the property then you’ll have a decent hotel otherwise it’s just a place with clean rooms and everything else is as dirty as you can imagine.

Arrogant staff — bad rooms — AC did not worked — reception staff asked to wait for 1 and half hour to repair the ac before giving new room. 1 st room was terrible, felt like cheap motel.. 2nd room was way better , felt renovated.. not a great option for the price but a decent hotel otherwise if u pay anything less than 200

Le pommeau de la douche dans la chambre n'est vraiment pas pratique : les jets sont droits et à une hauteur zéro commode pour un adulte (trop bas), donc pas le choix de tenir le pommeau dans une main durant toute la douche. L'éclairage dans la chambre en général et particulièrement dans la salle de bain était vraiment insuffisant. La seule lampe de chevet lecture était défectueuse. Impossible de se maquiller dans la salle de bain. Le chauffage était peu efficace, nous avons eu froid une bonne partie de la nuit malgré une augmentation de la température par mon conjoint. La salle d'arcades avait une odeur vraiment désagréable comme si le tapis était très salle, avec une odeur d'urine. Près de la moitié des machines d'arcades étaient hors d'usage et le personnel n'avait pas de change à nous donner pour utiliser les machines et la machine à change était défectueuse.

Hôtel parfait pour voyager avec des enfants. Il y a beaucoup d’enfants et d’activités pour eux. On se croirait dans un hôtel du sud section kids club. Pour un séjour en couple ce n’est pas idéal haha. On entend les portes claquer sans arrêt et les enfants courir dans le corridor. Impossible d’écouter le spectacle au bord de la piscine car le vacarme des jeunes dans la piscine avec l’écho prend toute la place. Le buffet déjeuner est très bon et varié. Les chambres manquent d’amour. Les lampes d’appoint ne fonctionnaient pas, le plancher est usé, les meubles sont usés, le lavabo se bouche, le support à papier de toilette est mal vissé. (Chambre 144 si jamais vous voulez faire la maintenance). Par contre le matelas est super confortable alors quand les enfants sont couchés on dort très bien. Je suis certaine que les familles passent un merveilleux moment à cet hôtel.

We had high hopes for our stay and, in many ways, the hotel delivered. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help. They truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The activities offered were fantastic: fun, varied, and perfect for guests of all ages. And the amenities? Top-notch. From the pool area to the lounges and dining options, everything felt thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. Oh, did I mention the staff was awesome 👌, even the ones working in the shadows. However, one major issue overshadowed an otherwise great experience: the beds. They were, quite frankly, awful. No matter which room configuration; main bed or sofa bed we tried, the comfort just wasn’t there. Both options left us tossing and turning throughout the night. It became difficult to enjoy the days fully when the nights were spent trying to find a position that didn’t leave us aching. For a hotel that gets so much right, the poor sleep quality was disappointing. There is a lot of construction in the area, but can't blame them for that. We hope the management seriously considers upgrading the mattresses and sleeping arrangements. Doing so would elevate an already great place to something truly exceptional. We’d love to return someday... but those beds need a refresh!

Nice place with amazing area of entertainment, but because of the construction around, it is not a great place for ones who are not travelling by car. Also, the language or the different racial group can not be a cause of being treated in an unfriendly or a different way. That’s how I felt from some of the staff during the stay.

Not a problem caused by the hotel but heavy rebuild of main roadway beside hotel made it difficult to access and leave the hotel. Was not mentioned on Google maps or by the hotel website. Would stay there again however, lovely hotel and friendly staff, very up to date even though an older hotel.

Beautiful older hotel that has been updated very nicely. Family oriented with amazing pool and slides for the kiddies..I would highly recommend staying here but it is so hard to get to right now as the road construction around it is horrendous!!☹️😟

Il faisait froid dans la chambre . Obligés de manger du buffet déjeuner avant 8:00.. nous sommes allés nous asseoir sur l’heure du dîner dans le restaurant et personne n’est venu nous voir, nous avons donc quitté. il n’y avait personne au bar à deux reprises dimanche. on a dû aller chercher qqn en allant au lobby. Le bar de la piscine n’a pas ouvert et ce n’était pas indiqué. Vraiment décevant. Nous ne viendrons plus . Ils ont mis du parmesan dans mes pâtes au homard et ça goûtait le faux parmesan en poudre. Vraiment pas bon. Pas possible de dîner avant 12:00… bref. Vraiment déçue. Samedi c’était bien pour les activités, mais dimanche non. Beaucoup de service samedi, mais dimanche à ne plus répéter… commentaire très positif pour les animateurs de la salle de jeu. Merci.

Overall enjoyed our stay as a family. But the couple of things would limit a higher rating such as; food quality was lacking especially for the cost and the 2 dryers for guest use did not dry clothes even after 2 cycles. To encourage longer stays these should improve.

C’est l’hôtel ideal lorsque tu as des enfants. Il y a tellement de choses à faire. Les photos ne rendent pas hommage à l’hôtel elle est encore mieux en vrai. Le seul b mol est le restaurant de l’hôtel le buffet du déjeuner etait bon mais le souper a la carte laissait à désirer ce n’était vraiment pas bon je vais assurément aller souper ailleurs quand je vais y retourner

Good Experience but the pool is too small, The restaurant was not good because when we arrived the food was almost finished and the service there did not pay attention to refilling so that people could eat. We still paid expensive per person, 29 plus tax, and we didn't eat anything.sorry but this is true if u take Buffet he didn't gifve you good service.
