Our stay at the Hilton was great! Nice location, accessible to walk anywhere downtown. The heated rooftop pool and sauna are great features. My only complaint is that the mini fridge in the room was constantly humming and it was quite loud. Also the doors to the rooms weren’t very sound proof, we could hear every time someone closed a door in the hallways. Made it a little difficult for sleeping.

Restaurants close early around the area. Trouble finding places to eat later at night. Trouble with the elevator which impeded us from using the pool as much as we would have liked. The pool was excellent with a great view. Hallways are quiet and hotel is extremely clean Would definitely book again.

The beds were very comfortable and quiet. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Check-in counter was very busy when we arrived, but the staff were still smiling and courteous despite the stress. Self-parking was very affordable for downtown. Restaurant was lovely: the pain au lait and the mussels were chef’s kiss (I was a little sad that the frites weren’t really frites… they were fries… but still tasty). Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately we arrived after a blue jays game at the same time as everyone else. I believe an elevator or two were broken, but there was a half hour wait for the elevators. We ended up taking the stairs to the 10th floor. The stairs were not accessible from the main floor, and we had to go to the basement level, take the stairs OUTSIDE and the re-enter the building and walk up to the 10th floor with all of our luggage. When we arrived in our room, there was leftover food in the fridge from a previous guest, which gave us the feeling the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We brought up these things to the staff at checkout, and there was simply a 'sorry about that' and no offer for compensation. I'm not normally one to complain or write reviews, but for $400 a night you'd expect better.

The room was not clean. Someone’s fingernail on my nightstand and public hair along the shower. The woman at the bar was terrible at her job. It took about 20 minutes for her to even approach us and getting our will was a chore. Absolutely inattentive.

The hotel was a little dated for the price. The room didn’t have a main light (had to switch several lamps manually), a manual AC (don’t forget to switch it off when you leave the room), and the bed was a bit uncomfortable with the dented areas. The view of the CN tower was nice though.

Great hotel but found that the room wasn’t very insulated from hallway noise or adjoining room noise. I could hear people watching tv and talking in the wee hours of the morning. I didn’t have a restful sleep. Pillows and bedding were great though. Bring earplugs. Lots of hallway disturbances and chatting.

Worst service I have ever experienced within a hotel bar lounge and then very poor management of the situation from the management team thereafter. Our Canadian family that were with us at the time were embarrassed of the "Canadian Service". Security only on the main entrance which meant anyone could wander into the main lobby from the side access doors and as there is a high number of drug users and homeless in the area, this was not ideal. I was approached on more than one occasion by a gentleman requesting cigarettes and money. Hotel lobby entrances were locked down by police and fire brigade whilst we were sat at the bar one evening. Police officers and fire crew were visible within the lobby area of the hotel and no explanation given by any bar or waiting staff, despite enquiries from several hotel residents. When we spoke to one of the bar staff later, he said they have a high level of incidents in the area! We noticed a smashed window on the 3rd floor from the pool area the following day which may have been relevant, but again no explanation of what had occurred from anyone. Following a complaint to the management and a request to remove tips from our account when checking out. Payment was still taken from our account without authority. Payment was returned following several complaint emails.

Initial front desk employee rude and would not allow check in of my company employees using my company credit card. Forced me to drive for two hours to the property to identify myself as the owner of the business and that these were my employees after a 10 minute phone call where I verified and authorized the credit card and that the employees were in possession of the emails confirming the reservations that were made over two months prior. Had no issues previously at that property doing the same thing.

There was some confusion upon check-in regarding my four room reservation made through Expedia. Sarfaraz, the on duty manager, personally dealt with the situation and with the help of Natalia, the check-in receptionist, they beautifully solved the problem within a few minutes. First time staying at Toronto Hilton and me and my daughter loved it. We were able to walk to Eaton Centre for shopping and food. Tons of restaurants nearby. We went for a concert and it was walking distance but we got an uber because it was freezing cold.

I was in town for a Blue Jays game. This property was a great location for the Rogers Centre. 15 minute walk. We walked everywhere while in town. The property was vey nice as was our room. The breakfast buffet was wonderful as well. Many options for things to do in the area at this location.
