The room was nice, good size kitchen and laundry in room. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room efficiently, and the hallways and building were messy. The gym in the basement was useable but bit of a disaster, located in a storage areas with mess and garbage around

New hotel but feels old. Not enough parking spots. It is a long stay, has full kitchen, but no plates, cutlery, cooking tools. Room seems jammed because of the full “studio” idea. But my only concern is the lack of enough parking spots, did not need the kitchen part.

no parking. had to park across the plaza and walk for about 10minutes to get back to the hotel. also no cart to bring our stuff in our room. and also our room was very dirty. our bed sheets had stains on them.

This hotel is dirty. The check-in was insane. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. Aside from us 3 more guests were waiting. They provided free parking but they didn’t mention that it would be across the highway. What a waste of money!!!

Problem with the reservation, they give my second room to someone who has the same first name. A nice kitchen with nothing! No toaster, no pan, no plates…. No enough parking. Clean and comfortable.

The parking was ridiculous. There wasn’t a spot to park at the hotel. Staff said to park at food world which had no parking either and was a few blocks away and across a busy highway. They finally let us drive back and park in front of the doors which was not even a parking spot. The hotel was great but definitely wouldn’t recommend for people to go there with the parking the way it is. I had to leave my mother and aunt in the lobby as they would not have been able to walk from food world. They definitely need to expand the parking lot to make it more reasonable.

Had difficulty findind a parking spot almost everyday.

Entire floor smelled like cigarettes and weed, moved to a different floor before even entering the room. New room was dirty, wsarn furniture with stains on furniture, holes in the wall, dirty bedspread, and cracks/stains in the bathtub.

The room was not clean. Hair and stains all over the sofabed. Had to sleep 3 adults in a queen bed as we had 5 guests. They rationed towels. Would not give us the amount asked for. Could not give us a new room. Did not deliver clean bedding as promised. Big bug found in room. Bathroom in need of repairs. Toilet kept running. Stairwells and elevators dirty with garbage and debris from construction.

Both of our smoke alarms were disconnected, the AC did not work, and cockroaches were found in the room. Receptionist should be trained better in customer service.

BED BUGS. Bed bugs in the room. Front receptionist extremely not helpful. He was more interested in his phone than providing customer service. After seeing the bugs we immediately left this hotel. Limited parking. Avoid this hotel.

Disgusting unclean room with hair and stains everywhere

Room was dirty customer service was no help white stains on couch , stains all over the bed sticky floor.

Rooms are not clean properly and there was cockroaches crawling all over the room

The hotel was unclean: hair on countertops, soiled couch, bloody stain on bathtub, strange smell. Customer service unsatisfactory. We had to leave. Hotel claimed we stayed and refused to fully refund us, despite saying we would be refunded after contacting Hotels.com. Please save your time and money by not coming here. You will be better off paying some more at another hotel.

This was by far the worst property I have encountered. Ever. I should’ve known from the condition of the exterior of the building. The sidewalk in front of the main door was unfinished, leaving 2 very large gaping holes, with some plywood covering the portals to the center of the earth. Not good. 2nd red flag was when not one, but two different parties were complaining to the front desk about the condition of their rooms. One complained that their room smelled and they found a dead rat behind the toilet. The other said they found a box of pigeons outside their window. I should’ve just turned around and walked out, but against my better judgment, we stayed. Our room looked like someone made the bed, but that was it as far as cleaning. There was blood splatter on the floor and walls near the desk/dining table. Mystery goop, (maybe cheese?) was hanging down from the ceiling above the couch. Grease stained on the wall. We tried to look past it, but ultimately the ungodly stench of the property overall was what put us over the edge. We checked out shortly after. Unless you want to go home with bed bugs or herpes, DO NOT stay at the Skye Residences & Hotel.

Terrible Stay – Never Coming Back I had one of the worst hotel experiences here. The AC didn’t work at all, making the room hot and uncomfortable. The room, bathroom, and bedrooms were clearly not cleaned or properly maintained before our arrival. To make things even worse, we found a blanket with blood stains on it — completely unacceptable and unhygienic. This place clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness or guest comfort. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone.

room was clean and convenient( has a washer dryer and full functioning kitchen ) and was great all around. only note i give is fix the AC in the rooms as it gets hot!!!

We had a great stay overall! The room was spacious and easily fit our group of 3 adults and 2 kids — very comfortable and clean. The price was also very reasonable, which made it even better. One thing we really appreciated was how quiet the room was, despite being in the city. We all slept peacefully… except for one issue: the curtains. The room was quite bright all night due to light coming in from nearby streetlights and surrounding buildings. Better blackout curtains would really improve the sleeping experience. Still, it was a pleasant stay and we’d be happy to return!

The room had a strong marijuana smell. The thermostat said it was 80 degrees, but there was no air conditioning, no fans, and the only window that opened was tiny and didn’t open far (and having it open unfortunately brought even more marijuana smoke in). There were also smaller annoyances, like how the toilet paper dispenser was empty and the rolls in the room didn’t fit in it. Would not stay here again, especially with small children. On the plus side, it was clean, and the building seems to have been built recently because everything looked new and in good shape. Also, it was nice having a full kitchen including dishwasher, plus a washer and dryer in the room.

There was no working air conditioner in the unit or even in the whole building. I heard someone complaining about it in the lobby and the front seat just brushed it off saying it’s an ongoing issue in some rooms. The television did not display any images when watching anything. The room reeked of old burnt oil. The floors felt like they were covered in something. The parking lot was horrible. There are many different areas that need to be improved at this location.

The rooms were nice, but the window seals were bad. There was a constant whistle and blowing coming from the windows during our stay. There were also some alarms going off, and whoever was next to us was parting all night. The walls seemed pretty thin because we heard them all night as well. That being said, I understand the loud guests aren’t really the hotel’s fault.

The services was ok and the room was clean but we had 2 nights without air-conditioning and our phone did not work in our room to get a hold of receptionists, so we had to send our son down everytime we needed something. So for yhe price range it was very resonable so if your good with no air and phone service then this is a good place to stay.

No door for the bedroom

No fitted sheet for the sofa bed, and no control panel for the a/c. Was offered a fitted sheet tomorrow morning.. i was checking out tomorrow morning so that doesn't do me any good. Was then offered a "dirty sheet" as the clean ones wouldn't be available until tomorrow. Enough said.

I booked the room for 2 days over there and when i visit there for check in they said they are out of rooms even I haven’t received any refund it was very ridiculous

They only gave us one bathroom tissue for the whole day, called the front desk for help nobody picked up any phone for the whole night or in the morning. Terrible service. Also there were spots on the sheet sets, and, there were pencil crayon marks on the white shade that was covered on the window. I paid so much for this room, did not expect terrible service

Service was quick until the receptionist almost put us in a room someone was already staying in. Room was dirty, cheaply made, very uncomfortable. The rooms were built right out of IKEA, which we know because the stickers were left on the wood. Toilet paper not put on toilet paper holder. Enough for one person to stay (ex. 1 towel, 1 face towel, 1 hand towel). The side tables had some type of residue on them, therefore they were clearly not wiped down. The parking lot was even worse. No parking, therefore people were parked along the curb of the building, making it difficult for cars to get by. Lastly, as we were trying to back out, a bunch of employees stood in the middle of the road watching 1 emloyee put stuff in a van, so we couldn’t get out.

They didn't have a room available, but they did generate a charge. They didn't help me at all, and not just me. They don't provide a solution to many people. It's obvious that they do it all the time, that's how they operate.

The staff is extremely unhelpful here. Friendly, but after being told time and time again about “fixing” the air conditioning in a room that had air conditioning on Expedia, we just felt they were dishonest. We visited the front desk 13 times in the first 48 hours because our room was 81°. We had a pregnant woman with us so we kept trying to find another hotel but couldn’t find anything nearby with 3 beds or reasonably priced since it was so last minute. We had a sofa bed but every time we asked for bedding, they would claim they didn’t have any because they’re sold out. Same went for new towels! Every day we would be told there are no new towels so we grabbed detergent from dollarama and would have to wash our own towels in our room and share 1 since we only had 3 towels even though the booking was for 4 people. The cleanliness was decent, we ended up buying wet wipes and cleaning off any dusty surfaces. Their lot was always full when we’d get back late night and would be told to park across the street at the other JDass property (10 min walk), so we’d drop our stuff off and took turns dropping off the vehicle and then picking it up again in the morning. Multiple times we tried contacting the manager but the front desk would only give us the front desk number or “frontdesk@skyeresidences” and that anything sent there would be forwarded to the managers. We even tried contacting the property management through Expedia on the first day and no response for the week.

Incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional staff. They didn’t welcome us in at all immediately just said “I need a piece of ID”. We got this hotel because it offered a pull out for a 3rd person to sleep on. The pull out wouldn’t fit between the bed and the TV. We called to have the pull out couch turned around so we could use it and the staff member did nothing for us. Didn’t move the pull and didn’t offer a new room. He promised us compensation as we couldn’t access the 3rd sleeping space, which was the whole reason I chose this hotel. So like the man said the next morning we went to talk to the manager and no one was at the front desk. So we called the next day to talk to a manager and got out on hold for 35 with still no help. I’m still tryna to contact anyone at this hotel to get some compensation for my awful stay. On top of terrible staff the place was filthy. I’m adding a picture of what the couch looked like (probably a good thing no one had to sleep on it). In addition to this there is no parking sometimes as there is limited spots. Of course the staff didn’t care and we had to park elsewhere. My FINAL complaint is it’s been 4 days and my deposit hasn’t been returned and I left that room in the exact conditions I got there.

I don’t know where to start. This hotel was chaotic. There were often bags of linens in the hallways. There were piles of papers behind the front desk. I emailed twice before my trip and got no reply. The room wasn’t clean. We had to wipe down all surfaces. There was visible dirt on the walls, floor and basically every surface. There were crumbs in the beds. There weren’t enough amenities. We asked for more towels and linens but they weren’t forthcoming. The kitchenette was there put don’t bank on using it. The was a single fork, a single spoon, and a single butter knife. We had to ask for a baking tray, and got one after a few days. There was a single pot, whose handle outweighed the pot so it tipped over if something wasn’t placed under it to brace it. There was no lid. There was no kitchen towel or oven glove. There was a small unclean frying pan. There was no dish soap. There was barely enough parking most days some days not enough. Barely enough was a common theme. The common guest bathroom didn’t have soap most of the time, nor bathroom paper once. There was a shooting on our first night and the police had the place tapped off all evening. Bullet holes were visible through a balcony’s glass and in the wall of the building. There was a washer and dryer, without detergent. The dryer was missing a handle and needed to be opened with the butter knife.

We had no air conditioning in our room. We requested multiple times they come and look at it. It was 80 degrees in our room. On day 2 they said they would have someone in at 900am to look at it and that if they couldn’t fix it, they would move us rooms. We called at 300 to check in and nobody had even been in to look at it. At 400 when we called they said someone went in 15 mi utes ago. When we went back to the hotel that evening our hotel was still 8” degrees and they wouldn’t move us rooms. We ended up checking out and having to book a new hotel. They said a manager would contact me and we have had zero response. Experia has attempted to call them and has of yet heard back. The hotel is clean but the service thee was poor and I would not recommend staying there.

Close to the airport and in the middle between downtown and Wonderland.

Place is good and lots of restaurants around

Upon returning to property at 10pm, police& emergency services had restricted entry/parking due to a shooting &murder in front of the hotel. Waited 2 hrs to go back in; then collected things from room and checked out. Front desk did not offer refund and stated that still had to wait 3 business days for security deposit. Family with children waited in lobby for new room due to gunshots having broken windows in their room. Unlikely to stay here again

What is unique with this property is convenience, but I don’t feel very safe when coming in late at night there are some rough people around in the parking lot

Rioms were dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable and noisy, every time you got up on the mattress you could feel the springs and hear them sqeek. Pillows were also uncomfortable as well and the biggest problem of all was the air conditioning unit which didn't work properly and it was like 83 degrees(28 degrees Celsius) and when we reported it to the front desk, they agreed that they are having problems with the Air Conditioning system and they said they will change my room but the next room was the same and when i was at the front dest i saw many guests were complaining about the temperature in their rooms and requesting to have them changed. I just dont understand how they even have a 7.2 rating with everything that we experienced. I almost forgot to mention that 2nd day we were there, someone got shot in front of the hotel and the police were there for few hours.

We stayed here for a weekend and had a lovely time! Staff are polite, friendly, and efficient. The room was just like a mini apartment with an apartment fridge, oven, sink and lots of storage. Great for long term stays (bring your own cookware, this isn’t Air BnB). The beds were SO comfortable and the AC worked great. We will def stay here again! Restaurant next door has delicious plant based and veg options, open until 2am. Only small issues we had was the fan wasn’t working in our washroom so it was hard to dry out the room with 3 people showering. We also weren’t able to get an extra towel but it was after midnight and a very busy weekend, not a huge deal.

The room was great and the bed was very comfortable, however, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was for the full kitchen and I was very disappointed to find no dishes or cutlery at all. When I went to enquire at the front desk I was provided with paper plates and plastic forks and spoons. There were no bowls at all. There were also no hangers at all in the closet which was inconvenient since I had nice clothes that needed to be hung up.

I did not know that pots,dishes, bowls and utensils were not available at the hotel.

We booked this property because it has kitchenettes. On arrival and once in our room the kitchen had no pots, pans dishes utensils except a stove and a microwave so we had to go to the dollar store to buy utensils, frying pans etc as the room did not have anything. If we would have known this kitchen was not equipped with anything to call it a kitchenette, we would have booked elsewhere. I’m not sure how they can call this a kitchenette. If you are looking for an equipped kitchenette look elsewhere.

No towels in the room. Kitchen with no utensils, sponge and dish soap. They except you to go buy everything 🙄. I expected to be included as it is a 3 star hotel and not an apartment.

Average accommodation. Room was barely cleaned during the one week we stayed and we had to ask 3 times and wait for 2 days to get enough towels for each of us even though we had already confirmed the number of guests staying.
