Overall very nice hotel. We liked the location with a lot of options for restaurants and shops. We had issues with AC. Although weather was 3-10 Celsius, we could not bring temperature in the room below 25Celsius. AC control was non operational and kept the room in heating mode, likely wasting lot of energy. In room Refrigerator was small and just refreshing, not cooling. Breakfast was great with a lot of options and very yummy. Room service was very poor - we do not recommend pizzas

The property feels tired and in need of a refresh. Our room had peeling paint and water damage. The chords had been broken from the blinds and left on the windowsill. There is no longer a bar. The loos at reception were broken when we were there. The staff do seem to work very hard to make folks feel welcome. They cannot be faulted but this is really only a 3* property at best.

Flight arrived from Bergamo airport past midnight, only 10 mins to get an Uber to the hotel but it is on the pricey side €42 for a short journey but considering not having to drag my luggage all the way to Milan, that was an ideal solution. The hotel staff was very helpful with late check in. Room was extremely spacious and modern. Perfect temperature without me having to adjust the air conditioning. Comfy bed and not too noisy despite being on the second floor. Upon checking out and before heading to the station for my train, I could really benefit from the use of restroom but they have not got one available at the lobby area nor the restaurant area, according to staff, it is under renovations which is a bit of shame as this has let down the score slightly. Would have love to use their spa facilities next time when I visit again. Overall, really lovely stay and close proximity to central Bergamo.

The hotel was very near to the airport bus so it was very easy to get from the airport. As it is on a direct bus route to the Citta Alta access to there was easy. Staff were helpful; we were able to store our luggage due to a late flight and to borrow umbrellas. We will stay again.

Benytter alltid dette hotell når jeg er i Bergamo. Har prøvd mange ande Hotel men jeg syntes dette er meget bra med en bar/restaurant ved siden av med hyggelig betjening.

Great place to stay. Close to the train station. Restaurant Vox in the same building as the hotel was phenomenal. Older building but they maintained it well and kept it very clean. Only complaint was that the air conditioning only worked if a window was open - that may have been user error but that was the only way we could figure it out. Additionally, the windows have no screens (perhaps that’s a European thing) so we were scared to let bugs in if the windows were left open Otherwise it was great, would recommend.

The hotel was good, our first room was close to the restaurant and was not good. Very cold and noisy. There were able to change our room and the second one. Was much better. We could not find parking close to get our luggage and do the check. Location was good, walkable and close to transit and restaurants.

Saubere und große Zimmer! Jeden Tag wurde geputzt. Frühstück war jetzt nicht der Knaller aber ich fand’s lecker und wurde satt. Bequeme Betten, schönes, großes und sauberes Badezimmer mit viel Platz zur Ablage. Das einzige negative: die Klima konnte man nicht regulieren und nachts als sie abwechselnd an und ausging, war es recht laut und hat uns den Schlaf geraubt… Ich würde das Hotel 100% weiterempfehlen 👍

Ich war die letzten Jahre sehr oft in diesem Hotel gewesen und war immer sehr zufrieden gewesen. Diesmal war leider das Bad nicht gründlich geputzt gewesen - sehr viele Haare vom vorherigen Gast waren noch in der Dusche und auf dem Boden. Flaschenöffner fehlte und die Nespressomaschine wurde nicht geleert. Hoffentlich hatte die Putzfrau nur einen lustlosen Tag gehabt! Komme trotzdem im August wieder!

When I checked in, there was an error on the bill and the staff's English was poor. The door handle was broken so I couldn't get into my room. When I moved to another room, the toilet was dirty. The phone was broken and the security box didn't work. This was the worst Mercure hotel I've ever stayed at.

Buona accoglienza. Personale della Hall gentile e disponibile. La prima mattina dall'arrivo, con mio figlio , usciti alle 8.20 per assistere alla tumulazione delle ceneri di mia moglie, siamo rientrati alle 12.30. La stanza non era ancora stata rifatta. In preda ad una crisi di sconforto, mi sono steso sul letto per qualche minuto . Dopo poco ha bussato una cameriera di colore per rifare la camera. Le ho chiesto mezzora per riprendermi . Dopo pochi minuti ha ribussato e mio figlio ha chiesto ancora 5 minuti . Lei ha risposto seccata " ma io lavoro " Da medico e professore universitario ho girato il mondo e l'Italia in lungo ed in largo ma mai avevo subito una scortesia simile . Le lenzuola vengono cambiate ogni 2 giorni . La moquette non è stata mai pulita con l'aspirapolvere perchè abbiamo trovato le pantofole sempre nella stessa posizione in cui le avevamo lasciate. La camera è bella e confortevole . Il box doccia, ha piatto in resina di circa 150 x 80 cm. Con una parete in vetro che non lo protegge tutto . Il risultato è che tutti gli schizzi allagano il pavimento del bagno .Mancavano tutti gli accessori doccia (portasapone ecc.) per cui shampoo e sapone dovevano essere poggiati per terra. A 72 anni brutta ginnastica per la mia schiena .La signora della hall mi ha risposto che tali accessori , non erano ancora arrivati. Complessivamente un giudizio buono. Basterebbe poco per migliorarlo. Mio figlio si è connesso subito con il WIFI. Con il mio PC e telefono impossibile

Déjeuner et personnel ok. Après une nuit, à notre retour de la journée, une des deux chambres n’avait pas été nettoyée. Il manquait papier de toilette, vidange non ramassée, serviettes non changées, lit pas fait. Le responsable a fait le nécessaire mais un des deux couples a dû attendre.

The hotel is centrally placed for the airport, buses and station, the rooms are spacious, but looking dated. However the hotel really fell down o breakfast, we stayed six nights and for four of those there was only one coffee machine working leading to long queues and on o e day both machines were broken. The jitchen didn’t seem to understand rhat as it.was Grand Prix weekend the hotel was super busy and they had run put of bread, yoghurts abd had virtually no hot food available on one day. The lady running the front of house was amazing and tried to keep on top of everything but she was badly let down by everyone else and in all honestly the breakfast issue means I'd be very unlikely to stay there again as €11.50 per peraon for brwakfast was wasted

El personal muy amable y atento, nos ayudaron a conseguir un taxi a las 4am. La cama era grande y bastante cómoda. El desayuno merece la pena pagar ese extra y disfrutar del buffet con diversidad de productos dulces o salados al gusto de todos. Lo malo es que en nuestra habitación, la 118, el desagüe de la ducha no debía funcionar bien y cuando usamos la ducha el olor a podrido que salía después era inaguantable dando ganas de vomitar, había que tapar con toallas el desagüe, abrir la ventana y cerrar la puerta del baño. Y el WiFi te dicen que es el apellido de la reserva y el número de habitación como contraseña y no hubo forma en 4 noches de que nos funcionase bien.

We love this hotel. It is so convenient to shopping, cafes, and sights, but also close enough to walk to the main train station and where the airport bus stops. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast room is classy. Breakfast is always very nice, with lots of selection. But, the best thing- by far- is that the staff are so courteous and efficient, and quick with a smile and to address any issues that might arise. Bravo!!

Easy walk from the train station and on the bus route for the airport. Fantastic, helpful staff. Well worth stopping for an extra day in Bergamo if you’re flying in and out of the city.

For the price this is a good hotel and the location is great. Cleaning staff are fine. Front desk -- good but when a couple staying for 4 nights asked for more hangers (as there were only 6 in the room) the response was "I will see if we have some in the hotel" -- we never got any more hangers! What was really unexpected was breakfast -- most hotels can figure out how to do a buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast room was chaotic with a staff that seems oblivious. More than once there were no plates or no utensils in the buffet area. There were tables that needed to be cleared (as the room is full and people are looking to find a seat). And the arrangement -- yogurts in a corner squeezed in near the coffee machine and the hot food -- so that you couldn't get to it. Only one coffee machine (one morning I was in the line for 8 minutes as 10 people were in line to get coffee). I could go on but the point is that the breakfast room has to operate better. It gets the day off to a bad start to encounter such disorder.

Perfeita, desde a disposicao dos funcionarios para ajudar com reserva em restaurante , solicitacao de taxi, a limpeza. O chuveiro é maravilhoso, a cama muito boa. O unico porem é a fta de suco no café da manhã, mas varios outro tipos de bebida, além.da atencao de yogurt sem lactose. A localização é perfeita a 1 quarteirão da estação, mas ja com outra aparencia e mais seguro, proximo aos principais pontos da cidade baixa (vale a pena uma caminhada pela região) , e 15 a 20 minutos de caminhada para o funicular para cidade alta.

The hotel was very near to the airport bus so it was very easy to get from the airport. As it is on a direct bus route to the Citta Alta access to there was easy. Staff were helpful; we were able to store our luggage due to a late flight and to borrow umbrellas. We will stay again.

The hotel is centrally placed for the airport, buses and station, the rooms are spacious, but looking dated. However the hotel really fell down o breakfast, we stayed six nights and for four of those there was only one coffee machine working leading to long queues and on o e day both machines were broken. The jitchen didn’t seem to understand rhat as it.was Grand Prix weekend the hotel was super busy and they had run put of bread, yoghurts abd had virtually no hot food available on one day. The lady running the front of house was amazing and tried to keep on top of everything but she was badly let down by everyone else and in all honestly the breakfast issue means I'd be very unlikely to stay there again as €11.50 per peraon for brwakfast was wasted

The hotel location is excellent - on the airport bus route and close to the railway station if you plan excursions to Brescia for example. It’s on a street with a number of restaurants but also has the option of room service. The rooms are modern and spacious, comfortable and very clean. Numerous options for breakfast - everything you could want in the excellent buffet. I would recommend the hotel without reservation talking about the hotel alone. However it is worth knowing that there is a space across the road 100 metres away which for one day during my stay had an open air rock concert from about 9pm to midnight. The hotel’s double glazing did not keep out the thumping bass and my room was on that side of the hotel. It’s not obvious when those evening rock concerts are going to happen so I suggest specifying a room away from the main road. None of this is the hotel’s fault but it was frustrating for one night not knowing when the music would stop.

Overall very nice hotel. We liked the location with a lot of options for restaurants and shops. We had issues with AC. Although weather was 3-10 Celsius, we could not bring temperature in the room below 25Celsius. AC control was non operational and kept the room in heating mode, likely wasting lot of energy. In room Refrigerator was small and just refreshing, not cooling. Breakfast was great with a lot of options and very yummy. Room service was very poor - we do not recommend pizzas

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. However the breakfast left much to be desired. It was obviously understaffed. On the first day, the coffee machine ran out of milk, water and coffee. No one attended to it for 20 mins. While everyone was waiting for coffee. Second day which was a Sunday and breakfast till 10.30am. Came down at 9.30am, there were not enough tables as they weren’t cleared. And worse, no food was left. After several customers asked, some bread and scrambled eggs were provided. That’s all. Nothing else. Do yourself a favour. Skip the breakfast and go 4 doors down, they served much better stuff there.

This hotel has had a makeover since we last stayed there. Rooms and bathrooms have been updated and look really well. New carpets in the hallways and public areas make a huge difference. Breakfast room a bit small and crowded for the number using it especially around the buffet area. A second coffee machine is essential as long queues built up.
