Property was recently remodelled and rooms are in great condition, nice bathroom, nice bedding. The personnel is great, everybody very friendly and willing to help. Great breakfast too! The hotel is close toe everything but in a quiet area, location is perfect!

This is a fabulous little boutique hotel in walking distance of all attractions in Florence. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Room was very comfortable and the staff were all so helpful. There is complementary afternoon tea/coffee with cakes, pastries and sandwiches in the bar from 5 until 7 every night with I thought was a lovely treat after a day of sight seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel and would give it 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Florence :))

We came from Venice and the hotel is close to the train station which was useful. Only a 10 or 15 minute walk to the main historic centre. The hotel is small which we liked and it was really clean and bright. The air conditioning was wonderful after the heat in Venice. Staff friendly. Breakfast was good and the afternoon tea of tea, coffee and snacks was really nice to come back to after walking all day. Haven’t seen that in any previous hotel. Definitely would recommend.

The hotel is quaint and clean, the new renovations is noticeable, the room was a good size, the breakfast had plenty to offer, since this was included it was great. You can have the small buffet of pastries, eggs, fruit, or cereals. Or you can order off a small menu at no additional cost. The cappuccino and the americano caffe was delicious. The owner recommended the walking tour for us and Makayla the guide was very knowledgeable and showed us around from the san marco square to the ponte vecchio. Makayla was very fluent in English and was very patient and informative. I’m giving it 5 stars because i have nothing negative to say. Especially for the location and the price in peak season.

Hotel is a little gold mine. Under the radar, but definitely a pleasant stay. Newly remodeled-and it shows. Breakfast for guests the best I've seen other than large 4 star hotels. Staff helpful, and accomodating. If you're in Florence I would highly recommend this little jewel of a property.

Hotel Rapallo is an excellent establishment. The staff there are the best I have experienced anywhere. The facilities are well-maintained. The location is a reasonable walk to all major attractions. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return in the future!

Very lovely hotel. Situated about 15 minutes away from the main centre of Florence, a very nice walk and takes you away from the bustle at the end of the day. The hotel is immaculately decorated and very clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the owner also is very hands on and ensures everything runs smoothly. The little bar is intimate, they serve afternoon tea between 5 and 730 which was a lovely addition. Breakfast is great, and caters for all. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was perfect for us. It was a nice walk about 10 minutes from the main tourist attractions. There were plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel that were brilliant. The hotel couldn't do enough for you. They gave good tips on where to go and what to do, they had a beautiful breakfast avaliable and they also hostest complimentary afternoon tea and coffee. It worked well for us as we would come back to the hotel to freshen up for going out in the evening.

We had a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom was spotless, bright, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wow, so many options and staff very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Florence ❤️

It is a very outdated hotel that needs urgent renovation. The whole building smelled off. The rooms were terrible. The lighting in the room and the furniture make you feel you are in a hospital room. Tiny shower, old and chipped furniture and no air in the room. The picture I shared here, shows how right outside our room looked like every time we entered the room. Breakfast was awful. Only one person works at the the small breakfast buffet they have.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the station and centre of Florence. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast each day was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again when visiting the city.

3 sisters husbands enjoyed our 7 night stay. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station and 22 minutes to the Duomo. 25€ for a taxi to/from the airport, our preferred choice over 1.75€ train when you have suitcases. Free breakfast every morning with delicious croissants and a wide variety of pastries, bacon, eggs, potatoes, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, made to order omelets and sandwiches, and coffees. Free bottled water to take on your daily adventures. At the end of your day, they have free tea time treats from 17:00-20:00. You can also order alcohol beverages, most cost 12€. Our rooms were nice sized and well-lighted; refrigerator was filled with water (still & sparkling); and the bed was comfortable with a firm mattress. The key card had to be in the slot in order for the lights to work (it took my sis 10 minutes to figure that out). The staff was very helpful and we appreciated the dinner reservations they made for us at Trattoria Zà Zà. Although not in the busy, city center, if you are in walking shape, I recommend staying at Hotel Rapallo when visiting Firenze.

Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a huge terrace. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast and had tea time in the evening. Tea time was such a great addition to our stay, it was a great way to wind down after a busy day. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful when we asked for directions or recommendations. This was our favorite hotel that we stayed at in Italy. If we return to Florence we will definitely stay again!

Bryan at the front desk was happy and welcoming at all times; Praise was excellent: he wore several hats there and took care of us every day so well with a smile; the morning breakfast maitre de and ladies were extra sweet and gracious. Le séjour était parfait, l’hôtel très agréable, le breakfast délicieux et les personnels de l’établissement très polis, souriants et disponibles. La chambre est à la hauteur de la prestation. Quelques petits problèmes de connexion malgré le wifi de l’hôtel et pas de chaînes Tv en français (mais au final c’est pas important).

The Hotel itself was very nice and the front desk staff and bartender were great. However, there are a couple issues with this place. First, the shower situation was not great. The water was either scalding hot or ice cold with some periods where it was just right. Did not make for an easy shower. Second, the hairdryer only worked for 2 min then stopped (wife not happy). Last the breakfast person was not welcoming at all and seemed extremely disgruntled. Not what you want first thing in the morning! Overall I probably would not stay at this place again unless they fix the shower situation. Oh and be warned the street noise is a bit much but expect for this area of town.

Our experience at this hotel in Florence was deeply disappointing and far from what you'd expect of a supposed four-star establishment. The hotel is located in a very bad neighborhood—so much so that they lock the front doors after 10 p.m. for security. The building itself is extremely old and clearly neglected, with visible signs that it desperately needs repainting or perhaps even structural repairs. The dining room was shockingly small, unable to accommodate all guests at once. We were asked to schedule our breakfast time and given only a half-hour window to eat and leave. Because of the cramped layout and the lack of a proper barrier between the entrance and the dining area, flies were everywhere—making it impossible to eat anything that wasn’t completely covered. The rooms were equally underwhelming. On the first night, we were given such a tiny room that we couldn’t even fit our two suitcases. After complaining, we were moved to a slightly better room, but even that lacked proper ventilation. The shower was a safety hazard: the water temperature fluctuated wildly, suddenly turning scalding hot or ice cold. My boyfriend even burned his skin due to this issue. Frankly, there is nothing remotely four-star about this hotel—except the staff. The employees were kind, professional, and went above and beyond to try and make our stay more comfortable. Unfortunately, their efforts were no match for the hotel's many serious flaws. We give this hotel 2 star, just because of staff.

Unfortunately, their efforts were no match for the hotel's many serious flaws. We give this hotel 2 star, just because of staff.

Very lovely hotel. Situated about 15 minutes away from the main centre of Florence, a very nice walk and takes you away from the bustle at the end of the day. The hotel is immaculately decorated and very clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the owner also is very hands on and ensures everything runs smoothly. The little bar is intimate, they serve afternoon tea between 5 and 730 which was a lovely addition. Breakfast is great, and caters for all. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful well appointed property. Very comfortable Queen size bed which is not easy to find in Italy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet plus made to order items and was delicious. We rented a car and didn’t even use it because everything you want to see is walking distance from this hotel. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rapallo. The location is excellent, super close to all tourist attractions yet in a quieter area. Housekeeping did a wonderful job in the room the two days I was there. Everything was clean and not at all worn out. Staff all around was friendly and they were helpful with ordering me a very early taxi when I had to leave! Would stay here again in an instant and recommend it to anyone.

I loved this place I had stayed at another hotel for 3 nights it was advertised as 3 stars but wasn’t. I came here and was greatly warmly and able to check in early. The room 403 was clean , bright and comfortable. It also has a terrace. Bathroom products are provided. Breakfast was included again staff were polite and attentive. It rained heavily two days there’s umbrellas to use. My tea and coffee were replenished daily. The bed was comfortable. The only thing is I noticed local young drug dealers nearby day and night I had no issues but it’s winter so it gets dark by 4pm.

Beautiful hotel in Florence close to the station and easy access. Nice easy walk into the city centre. However the park near by at night was unsafe to walk past/near. One night I got followed and only went turned the other way as I entered the hotel. Just need to be careful. The hotel was a nice lovely and modern. The staff very friendly and always went about and beyond.

Our experience at this hotel in Florence was deeply disappointing and far from what you'd expect of a supposed four-star establishment. The hotel is located in a very bad neighborhood—so much so that they lock the front doors after 10 p.m. for security. The building itself is extremely old and clearly neglected, with visible signs that it desperately needs repainting or perhaps even structural repairs. The dining room was shockingly small, unable to accommodate all guests at once. We were asked to schedule our breakfast time and given only a half-hour window to eat and leave. This is a fabulous little boutique hotel in walking distance of all attractions in Florence. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Room was very comfortable and the staff were all so helpful. There is complementary afternoon tea/coffee with cakes, pastries and sandwiches in the bar from 5 until 7 every night with I thought was a lovely treat after a day of sight seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel and would give it 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Florence :))

Bryan at the front desk was happy and welcoming at all times; Praise was excellent: he wore several hats there and took care of us every day so well with a smile; the morning breakfast maitre de and ladies were extra sweet and gracious. A good property recently refurbished with efficient staff. I mark it down for serving 'orange juice' that was clearly 'orange' powder reconstituted with water. For a 4 star hotel in Tuscany that's unforgivable. If the hotel replaced this with pure (real) orange juice the rating is a comfortable 4.

Fabulous hotel.The room perfect, and staff especially Shereen on reception could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choice, efficiently run, with coffee and tea being served to your table. Hotel in a great central location for train station and all the sights.

Nice hotel in a great location and convenient to attractions and train station. Very modern and clean room. Excellent breakfast. My only complaint is that there were gnats flying around in the dining room as well as my room and common area perhaps from the plants.

The Hotel itself was very nice and the front desk staff and bartender were great. However, there are a couple issues with this place. First, the shower situation was not great. Last the breakfast person was not welcoming at all and seemed extremely disgruntled. Not what you want first thing in the morning!
