Great stay in central location. Room was clean and layout was nice. Very friendly staff. Only issue was the shower drained slowly but it didn’t bother us. We would stay again. AC was great!

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo a estação Firenze Santa Maria Novella e a apenas uma quadra do Duomo. Quarto confortável, boa cama e banheiro privativo. O casal de proprietários são muito gentis e simpáticos. Destaque para o terraço (balcony) do hotel, com uma vista maravilhosa do Duomo.

Lovely hotel. Its location is excellent, a 10-minute walk from the SMN train station. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large bathroom. Danielle and her family are very kind and caring. They go out of their way to provide excellent service and make the best recommendations on tourist attractions and places to eat. They also looked after our bags before and after check-in. They speak Italian and English quite well. 100% recommended.

Har inget annat än ett positivt intryck av hotellet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, rent och städat i rummen plus toppenläge mitt i stan! Däremot var inredningen rätt gammal och trist och hotellet var väl inte särskilt fint eller mysigt förutom på terrassen de hade med utsikt över Duomo. Men i förhållande till priset var allt mycket bra!

Struttura pulita e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Camera essenziale ma comoda e sufficientemente spaziosa. Uniche note negative, le stanze andrebbero rinnovate un po' perché un vecchiotte, in particolare le pareti avrebbero bisogno di un'imbiancata. Inoltre all'ingresso nella stanza si sentiva un forte odore di candeggina, per cui abbiamo dovuto tenere le finestre aperte per diverso tempo per far arieggiare.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful to me despite our language difference.. The staff were very friendly. The shower had very nice water pressure. They cleaned the room perfectly everyday. We didn't eat there but the dining area was very cute . The location was perfect. Very reasonable price for the 6 nights we stayed. Perfect for the budget if you don't need anything fancy .. I would stay here again ..

We had a one night stay here a few days ago, and were overall happy with our experience. Friendly staff greeted on arrival, and accommodating to our requests. The room was slightly smaller than envisioned, but for us it wasn’t an issue as were only there as mentioned for 1 night. Clean and comfortable. To note, if you are relying on the hotels hairdryer, it is slightly underwhelming, and a little confusing to operate, but it’s manageable. Overall, great experience & lovely staff. Also, perfect location for exploring all central Florence has to offer.

Stannade på hotellet i 2 dagar. Vårt rum var ok städat och lagom stort, men det hade inte särskilt mysig stämning. Vi hängde inte jättemycket på rummet utan sov mest där och tog nån timmes siesta, så vi kunde stå ut med den lite tråkiga stämningen/inredningen. AC:n fungerade inte bra då rummet aldrig blev svalt. Sen var man tvungen att ha en markfläkt igång för att få luftcirkulation i rummet och den fläkten gnisslade en massa. Både temperaturen och gnisslandet störde en del när man skulle sova. Det som var bra med rummet var att det var typ hundra meter från alla stora sevärdheter och shoppingområden. Sen var personalen trevlig och rummet städades bra medan man var borta. Hotellet var även nära tågstationen, vilket passade oss bra som backpackade.

Hotell som ligger nära duomo och centralstationen. Även nära spårvagnen från flygplatsen. Bättre frukost är vad man räknar med i Italien. Rummet verkade nyrenoverat men badrummet var fuktigt och luktade lite unket. Gullig personal.

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. It was convenient for walking to all the main attractions nearby. The water pressure in the shower was rough and the bathroom/shower were incredibly small. I smacked my elbows many times in the bathroom.

A great place to spend the night while visiting Florence. It is 5-minute walk from the train station. It is within walking distance of most things in the Florence center. Clean, friendly, practical. I has a small room with a bed and the essentials. But what more did I need. I only spent the night sleeping. For that, is was quiet and comfortable—an excellent value for the price.

The owner/manager/staff were great. The facilities lacked. The beds were rock hard. The water pressure other than full cold was almost nil. What was supposed to be hot, wasn't but intermittently warm, cold, warm, etc. The walls paper thin, hearing snoring and bathroom use sounds of others was nauseating.

This place is no frills for sure and the room is small. However, it was affordable and in a perfect location about halfway between the main train station and the Duomo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was continental. Just what you need to get some fuel in the morning and get going.

L'albergo con posizione centralissima ma camera matrimoniale piccolissima e in due ci si stava proprio stretti. Avevo prenotato camera con colazione inclusa e al check in mi hanno detto che non servivano le colazioni ma mi hanno decurtato il costo dal totale. Albergo comunque pulito e personale gentile. Per un soggiorno breve potrei tornarci.

Good hotel with GREAT location. We were able to walk to all the locations that we wanted to see. MANY restaurants within 2-3 blocks from the hotel. Front desk staff, I think it was the owner, was very friendly and accommodating despite some language barriers. Provided me with ice daily! Bed was comfortable and shower was ok. Plenty of space in the room. We chose the breakfast for 10Euros daily. It did not have any warm/hot options and limited protein but was enough to start the day. Owner helped us arrange transportation to our next destination at checkout. Would stay here again!

Lovely hotel. Its location is excellent, a 10-minute walk from the SMN train station. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large bathroom. Danielle and her family are very kind and caring. They go out of their way to provide excellent service and make the best recommendations on tourist attractions and places to eat. They also looked after our bags before and after check-in. They speak Italian and English quite well. 100% recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay at Balcony. Just about everything is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel and there are plenty of dining and shopping options. The owners are very helpful and welcoming!

I will not pay my entire stay at this Hotel. The property is horrible. The bed was broken, my son suffered a back injury. No breakfast offered, charged as more than expected. the room was so tiny and the staff is not speaking English.

Good hotel with GREAT location. We were able to walk to all the locations that we wanted to see. MANY restaurants within 2-3 blocks from the hotel. Front desk staff, I think it was the owner, was very friendly and accommodating despite some language barriers. Provided me with ice daily! Bed was comfortable and shower was ok. Plenty of space in the room. We chose the breakfast for 10Euros daily. It did not have any warm/hot options and limited protein but was enough to start the day. Owner helped us arrange transportation to our next destination at checkout. Would stay here again!

A great place to spend the night while visiting Florence. It is 5-minute walk from the train station. It is within walking distance of most things in the Florence center. Clean, friendly, practical. I has a small room with a bed and the essentials. But what more did I need. I only spent the night sleeping. For that, is was quiet and comfortable—an excellent value for the price.

This place is no frills for sure and the room is small. However, it was affordable and in a perfect location about halfway between the main train station and the Duomo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was continental. Just what you need to get some fuel in the morning and get going.

Hotell som ligger nära duomo och centralstationen. Även nära spårvagnen från flygplatsen. Bättre frukost är vad man räknar med i Italien. Rummet verkade nyrenoverat men badrummet var fuktigt och luktade lite unket. Gullig personal.

Simple but Nice Hotel. Aircondition worked perfectly, refrigerator did not get very cold, TV lacked international channels (but then again one does not go on vacation to watch tv :)). Breakfast was very simple, as seems common in Italy. But all in all a Nice simple hotell with very Kind host.

L'albergo con posizione centralissima ma camera matrimoniale piccolissima e in due ci si stava proprio stretti. Avevo prenotato camera con colazione inclusa e al check in mi hanno detto che non servivano le colazioni ma mi hanno decurtato il costo dal totale. Albergo comunque pulito e personale gentile. Per un soggiorno breve potrei tornarci.

Hotel staff is nice but our bathroom/room were not clean- had hair in the shower and previous guests belongings. Breakfast ok, no lift and tons of stairs. City tax is required in cash for some reason which is very inconvenient. Great location but compromising on many other areas of comfort
