What a hidden gem! Gave us free welcome signature cocktails. Had a lovely little cocktail hour from 6:30-8:30pm every night with a comfortable little lobby and private courtyard. One night we didn’t even go out for dinner. We went to nearby grocery store and bought cheese and crackers and had more of those signature cocktails and sat in the courtyard. Staff was EXCELLENT and very accomodating! Don’t scroll past this wonderful hotel.

There is a little square across the hotel that is nice to sit in and enjoy the sun. There are lots of restaurant and cafes around the hotel as well. The staff were all very friendly. And of course, the complimentary welcome drink was a treat. Thanks for a wonderful time in Florence.

Excellent friendly staff. We received a warm welcome from Steohania. Room was spacious and very clean. The ac worked great. As seniors we appreciated the elevator. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Daily maid service with lots of fresh towels. Very close to train station. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A really lovely, well appointed hotel. The room was a good size with lots of storage and free WiFi. Just a 10 min walk from the train station and around 12 minutes from the central squares and cathedral. As with many Italian hotels the shower was a little small, but the rest of the bathroom spacious and spotless. Breakfast was buffet style with good choice. All staff were lovely and helpful.

A total rip-off. The room was in terrible condition. The sink was clogged, the beds were rock hard, and there was no curtain to block out the sun. I woke up at dawn. The beds were covered in hair from previous guests. Hotels.com should be more strict. In over 10 years of using the app, I've never had anything like this happen to me. I had paid for two nights and left a day early.

The convenience of everything around me was the best part of my stay. The garden and the lobby were beautiful. However, my bathroom shower had mold on the bottom. ( I am sensitive to mold) some of the lights were not working in the room. I informed was fixed the following day. Upkeep of the daily coffee station in the room was not appropriately refilled. I received one small bottle of wine and two cookies as the only VIP perks of my three nights stay.

The hotel is well located in the center of Florence. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Duomo. Our room was very small, but had what we needed. However, the shower was extremely small, which made it impossible not to hit our arms on things when we washed ourselves. The hotel states that the rooms are soundproof. Ours was not at all, and there was a lot of noise from the street, the neighboring rooms and the hallway. We stayed in room 211. The breakfast buffet was boring and uninspiring.

Nice hotel, close to the main attractions. Staff super lovely and helpful. The room was quite small however, air con didn’t seem to work and the bed wasn’t the most comfy (and pillows) for my friend and I. But it is a nice clean hotel and good location.

This hotel was really close to train station. Which is a plus, its located in a very busy area so lots of restaurants, shoppe ing etc. Room was clean my only compliant is don't say you have A/C when we can't control the mini split unit. Ultimately the hotel controls all the units and they turned them off during our stay and we had to open windows.

Very cool property, located very close to everything in Florence. Clean room, unfortunately the typical small Italian shower was a little tricky for two people who are over 6 feet tall, but that’s pretty common. Overall, I would highly recommend this property, especially because the people that work the desk were really friendly communicative and just fun to talk to

yes the room was a bit dated but it's clean and has everything you need. bed was very firm but this seems to just be an Italian thing as another place we stayed also had a similarly firm mattress. staff are very pleasant and helpful, location is great, walking distance from all the key sights in Florence and a bus stop right outside. for the price you pay it's pretty good value.

The room was not as advertised. It was extremely small and cramped. There was hardly room to get around the bed to get in the bathroom or to get to the desk. Almost no place to put the bags. The bed was also short and my feet hung off the bottom.

The hotel staff is outstanding and breakfast was delightful. The hotel is conveniently located near all the must see spots like the Duomo, Accademia Gallery (David)and Uffizi. Ponte Vecchio is a 20 min walk but totally worth it. Also tons of shopping and cafe's are footsteps away. And there's a delicious restaurant right next door with beautiful outdoor seating and friendly service.

From our first contact everything was “Tutto benissimo” The staff was excellent and friendly. This was a great hotel! I loved Leonardo at the reception desk such a nice guy very helpful willing to answer all our questions about how to get around on transportation!! Even recommended us going to Parma on the way to Milan Which was such a nice city really enjoyed it!!! So kind and helpful!! So happy to have met him and felt so welcome!! Room nice and clean!! The hotel is in an excellent location. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from the Mercato Centrale. The room was a little dated and the shower was very tight but overall it was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Shout out to Marco at the front desk who gave us some great suggestions for places to see and eat.

The hotel was a great choice. Its prime location, on the edge of the historic area, made it easy to walk to all the must see sites and still feel that one gets out of the chaos into a less busy area, as needed. Service was excellent. Its also a close walk to the main train station for out-of-town jaunts, as well as to the airport tram into town and back. Kudos to the staff at the Caravaggio.

Friendly, attentive staff; very comfortable bed; high standards of cleanliness. There was plenty of choice for breakfast; everything was beautifully fresh and well presented and items were replenished very quickly. There is an outside area to sit as well as a small park opposite. Five minute walk from the T2 tram stop. We were very well looked after here.
