This is an inconspicuous hotel but it is definitely 5 star. From the moment you walk in you feel very relaxed and welcome. The interior is very eye catching and makes you want to explore everywhere inside. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and our first night we went to the bar for drinks. The bartender Ivan welcomed us with open arms and even made us a little fruit and chocolate flambé to celebrate! The wine options are very good as well. Breakfast was fantastic as there are a ton of options. The fresh fruit juice and pastries were really great. Best bacon we’ve ever had! The service was very attentive as well. Even the dining room itself is appealing. Everything is within walking distance to the hotel. Lots of shopping and food options. The fountain is right down the street and great for photos. The entire city is walkable, with numerous places hidden down alleys. The train station is a little far though and will require a taxi. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Genoa.

Located in the historic center of Genoa. Very walkable to all palaces, museums, and churches. Great staff and service. Dinner was very good. Wine selection above average. Valet parking 29 euros a day but plenty of cheaper municipal parking.

Ein schönes Art Deco Hotel mitten in der Stadt was sehr praktisch ist. Es gibt kein Gym aber man kann die 6 Etagen anstatt mit dem Lift mehrmals per Treppe raufgehen. Ich kann gutes über die 6. Etage berichten.

We stayed a couple of nights and loved it. Front desk staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located, and just a short stroll from the Old Town. That said the hotel itself was oozing character from a bygone era, albeit now tastefully equipped with all modern conveniences. We'd take one of the elevators to our room, but used to walk down the stairs to admire the architecture and ceiling. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, with lots of storage. Also had TV, kettle, etc, safe, sofa and a large bathroom attached. Enormous terrace outside with table and two chairs and a view of the street, several stories below. Despite being on the street, the room was exceptionally quiet. One time we exited our room and from the corridor could hear a baby crying in the room next to ours. While in our room we didn't hear anything. We didn't use the restaurant in the hotel, as we went to Old Town for all our meals. If we were returning to Genoa, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Bristol Palace is an elegant hotel located in an area where we walked to most of the attractions in Genoa. Shops were right outside the door. The hotel was beautiful with multiple public areas to unwind.Our room was impressive and spotless.So was the whole hotel .The menu at the Giotto restaurant offered a good selection of local dishes to choose from. Our choices of Ligurian pasta and branzino were delicious .The buffet breakfast was excellent.Above all, the service was extremely remarkable .Each of the staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay in Genoa memorable. They deserve every single star of the five-star rating of this hotel. Thank you for your excellent service .

I really liked the hotel. It’s beautifully maintained inside, and the staff are very friendly and take their time to assist you. The service was excellent, and everything was exceptionally clean. The only downside is that the walls are not soundproof, but aside from that, it’s a great place to stay.

My stay at Bristol Palace was nearly perfect! The personnel is extremely courteous, helpful, eager to make sure your stay goes as well as possible. I extended my stay for a 3rd night and was upgraded to a double room, which was more spacious. Rooms are very clean, quiet, water pressure is wonderful. I did not get to try the restaurant Il Giotto, but it seemed like a good bet.

Stunning renovation of a heritage property. Staff take pride in making sure everything is clean and in good condition. Staff are all courteous and always ready to help. Breakfast was as expected in a good hotel, but if you have other preferences you must order from the menu. A great hotel all around!

The hotel is lovely, old world style. Wonderful location and excellent buffet breakfast. Walkable to all sites, shopping, restaurants. Wood floors in the rooms are old and a bit creaky which I heard at night from the room above as well as our own. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. I would recommend the hotel and stay again.

The room is clean and small. It lacks any reasonable place to store your clothes. It’s fine for a one night stay but beyond that you need a chest or dresser to put you clothes in or you live out of you suitcase.

Our room was very undistinguished, surprising given the price and stars. The bad news was that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The good news was that the loudness of the unit obscured the sound of snoring from the neighboring room—pretty abysmal sound-proofing. Positives are that the hotel is very convenient to the old town and its many attractions, to some excellent restaurants and the Brignole train station.

The Bristol Palace Hotel was a great place to stay in Genoa. It is well-located to shopping, restaurants and cultural/historical places. We walked to the train station about 10 minutes away. The hotel is a hidden gem with an elegant feel. The room and bathroom were comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. The staff, especially Matteo, were friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend the Bristol Palace Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Bristol Palace Hotel immensely. The staff was superbly efficient and friendly, especially the front desk. They were also very accommodating. We didnt fly out until 5pm, so they let us check out at noon and held our luggage for us. The hotel is pristinely clean in all areas! We'd highly recommend Bristol Palace Hotel!

Property is located in a walkable area to easily access restaurants and stores. Front desk staff is great! very helpful and knowledgeable …gave us great restaurant recommendations and places of interest. The bar staff and service is my only disappointment at this property as the service if any is slow, bar tender barely acknowledged us when entering and we sat for 20 min before he brought over the menu to disappear never to be seen. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy a drink before dinner.

The front counter manager is very mean, she gave me wrong place of luggage keeping in wrong railway station, and the place is closed, so I have to run taxi searching luggage keeping and missed the train. Even hotel location and facilities is fantastic, but is front counter is careless, make you feel bad about Genova trip.

Love this hotel, i’ve stayed here for 10 nights over the last couple of years. The hotel takes you back to the heydays of classic 5* hotels with modern subtle touches. The bedrooms are light and airy although there can be a bit of noise from the street into the night, not enough to disrupt sleep (Genoa is a busy city throughout the year) The staff have always been extremely helpful and efficient. Breakfast is served via buffet but with an air of elegance in the 2nd floor dining room.

Excellent hotel with brilliant location in the centre of Genoa. Almost every major site is walkable from the hotel. Because of the prime location however, the hotel only provides valet parking (at a fee). Room was great, as was breakfast. We didn’t try the bar or restaurants so cannot comment. There are plenty of food options available around the hotel, and it felt very safe to walk around during the daytime and evenings.
