Havde booket fordi der stod at de havde parkering. Hotellet ligger i en meget smal gade, hvor man ikke kan køre med mindre man har en meget lille bil, og er vant til at køre ad Napolis smalle gader. Måtte bakke 2-300 meter imod køreretningen, for at komme væk. Der er INGEN parkeringsmuligheder ved hotellet, der bør advares imod at køre dertil. Parkering er meget dyrt i Napoli, det kostede næsten det samme som hotellet og vi måtte gå 30 min. Med vores bagage. Portieren ville ikke tjekke os ind, da han ikke godkendte vores ID, kun pas. Vi blev sendt på politistarionen, som gav os ret i at vores ID var ok, politiet ringede til hoteller, men det var stadig et problem, da vi kom tilbage. Vores parkering, og indtjekning tog 2-3 timer. Morgenmaden var ok, men jeg savnede rigtigt brød. Altanen er så lille,at man ikke kan sidde på den. Beliggenheden er rigtig god -hvis man ikke er i bil.

This hotel is in the heart of a very vibrant Naples neighbourhood. Tons to see around here and easy to walk around or close to a metro station to get to other areas. The staff was very helpful and always available at the front desk. We had a rental car and the staff assisted us in finding a reasonable parking deal at a garage next to the main Naples train station. The one close to the hotel was very expensive. The included breakfast is impressive with an extensive variety of items to fill up on. Great coffee machine too. Thank you for an enjoyable stay Il Convento

We had an amazing time at Hotel Il Convento. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm smile, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is cozy and charming, with a unique blend of historic character and modern comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The service was outstanding, far exceeding what you might expect from even many four- and five-star hotels. The staff were incredible, especially Marco and Nello, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They helped with everything we needed and made sure we felt truly welcome. One of the highlights was the attention to detail—having coffee available 24/7, free water in the minibar and delicious pastries at any time was a wonderful touch. The breakfast was fantastic and rich- both hot and cold, fresh fruit etc. We also loved our private terrace, and also that the room was quiet. We also appreciated that we could heat the room in February. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Naples, right in the Spanish Quarter, close to the Opera House and Via Toledo. It’s also an incredible value for what you get. This is truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, largely thanks to the exceptional staff. Everything was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Naples. Because of our wonderful experience here, my friends and I have decided to make an annual tradition of returning to Naples-and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

The property is in a convenient area, close enough to the metro & the harbor to walk. Lots of food options nearby. The staff were fantastic! They were helpful in finding great food & with ferry schedules. The breakfast had plenty of options. A nice thing is they offer drinks & snacks 24 hours a day. There is a small elevator. Our room had a loft with two twin beds and a full/queen bed below. They offered the normal toiletries along with razors, toothbrushes, combs, & cotton swabs. It was a good sized room according to European standards. The bed itself and pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked, and the ac in the room just didn’t seem to work at all, only downfall to our stay. We did a day trip to Almafi /Positano/Sorrento from here on our own using the ferry & public transit.

A lovely boutique hotel. In the middle of the iconic Spanish quater yet near to the designer shops and a short walk to the marina and boat terminal.Room was small but exceptionally clean. The shower room was stocked with lots of toiletries including hair straighteners. Breakfast was outstanding. All fresh food catering for every taste.

Excellent location, walkable to major attractions, and near to many pizzerias ( Pizzeria Casa Laezza highly recommended) and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

El hotel está muy bien situado, cerca de las principales calles turísticas y con sitios muy buenos para cenar en la misma calle. Las habitaciones con mobiliario nuevo, muy limpias y cuidadas. El desayuno muy bueno. Destaca la amabilidad de todo el personal.

the staff were polite and helpful, and the central location is great. but the property is not even 3 star - the memory foam bed was terrible, the room is like a cell, and there was barely room to walk around the bed due to how narrow the room was.Bathroom was actually nice but didn't make up for the lousy bed, bad pillows and tiny dark room. Glad we only had planned to stay one night. Hard pass on this property next time.

We stayed only one night, but still was a great experience. Room was very clean and came with plenty of amenities (hair dryer, straightener, extra toothbrush, etc), also had a nice AC unit inside the hotel room to combat the summer Italy heat. Staff was very nice and helpful, even allowed us to checkout an hour later so we had some extra time to sleep in. The area itself is lively, with lots of food, shopping, ice cream, and close by sights like the Galleria and Castle at the Port. Highly recommend!

We booked the room as a family for two nights in Naples. The hotel is in a great place. The staff were friendly. The included breakfast selection was good. The room was great. The only thing that let it down was some broken floor tiles in our room on my side of the bed. The edges were sharp and when I walked across them with wet feet the broken tiles came up. This would be dangerous for children or someone not paying attention. Other than that Id recommend it.

Dette er et utrolig koselig lite hotell midt inne i det spanske området, veldig sentralt mtp både restauranter, shopping , severdigheter og transport (metro). Området er livlig, med kaféer, pizzautsalg, små butikker og masse trafikk. Det føltes helt trygt hele døgnet. Selve hotellet er ganske lite. Vi hadde rom i øverste etasje. Rommet var ganske stort, badet var fint, men det beste var den store balkongen med beplantning og møbler. Betjeningen var veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom, frokosten var helt grei. Om jeg kommer til Napoli igjen skal jeg bo her!

I was concerned about staying in Naples because 20 years ago I visited and didn't feel safe. But I can heartily recommend Il Convento. The location is parallel to Via Toledo, which is a busy shopping street, with a metro station just a few minutes from the hotel. It is safe (if you can avoid the psycho scooter drivers that are everywhere in Naples) and convenient for most things in the historic centre. The room was well equipped. Although it looked dated, everything was clean and in a good condition. Beyond that, the hotel provided extras that the more expensive hotel I stayed in afterwards didn't for example: slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a razor, a comb and free bottled water. The shower was a powerful waterfall shower and it was heavenly. One of the best showers I've ever expereinced. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the tv, where the majority of channels didn't work. This may have been fixable, I didn't ask so I don't know. The front desk staff were very helpful and gave good advice for places to eat. Staying there in November, the price was excellent value for money, and I would have no qualms about staying there again if I returned to Naples.

The property is perfectly located for easy waling to many sights to see but what makes it a 5 star property is the staff which were exceptional in handling some difficult issues our group had. Everything from finding an emergency dentist to lost luggage, to providing a first class breakfast each morning. If I could rank them higher than a 5 star, I would.

He a lovely 2 night stay would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the Spanish Quarter in all its splendour. The hotel even left a cake in the room for my sons birthday which was a lovely touch. Would definitely come back the staff were so friendly.

If you stay in Naples, this is your place to stay! It is in the old Spanish quarters with narrow streets, shops and restaurants. We did feel safe walking around after dinner. The hotel staff were so helpful in making dinner suggestions and helped us to figure out our transportation.

I was concerned about staying in Naples because 20 years ago I visited and didn't feel safe. But I can heartily recommend Il Convento. The location is parallel to Via Toledo, which is a busy shopping street, with a metro station just a few minutes from the hotel. It is safe (if you can avoid the psycho scooter drivers that are everywhere in Naples) and convenient for most things in the historic centre. The room was well equipped. Although it looked dated, everything was clean and in a good condition. A lovely boutique hotel. In the middle of the iconic Spanish quater yet near to the designer shops and a short walk to the marina and boat terminal.Room was small but exceptionally clean. The shower room was stocked with lots of toiletries including hair straighteners. Breakfast was outstanding. All fresh food catering for every taste.

I liked that the location was near to many food options, bars, and shopping area. I think the hotel can do better with the breakfast options. The pastries were stale sometimes. But overall it was a great stay. The front desk were always attentive and the room was always found clean.

Hotel Il Convento is situated in the heart of the busy Quartieri Spagnoli, although it was very quiet within our room and we were not disturbed at all by the lively atmosphere outside. It is well situated for the metro (Toledo) and local places of intetest. Breakfast offered various options. The hotel was very clean and lovely touches, including toiletries, spare tooth brush and hair straighteners. It is quite traditional in its styling. We did feel rather more tolerated than welcomed as customers, but that may have been due to our very limited Italian.
