Hotel Canal

The room was clean but very much in needed of some refurbishment? Some electricity cables were hanging under the bed side table. Not enough plug in the bedroom. Bath tube had some cracks. Some part of the facade need some TLC. The breakfast is ok. No fresh fruit or vegetables. The staff were nice welcoming and very helpful. Great location , close to transport and good vue on the Canal. We loved our stay at Venice, you have a wonderful town. Thank you.

Clean room, nice staff, location is perfect but, my main issue with the room was that the AC is based on a central system which they had running very hot. the room was small so it would get really hot. at some point i could turn it off but then i had to deal with bloodsucking mosquitos entering the room. so it was mosquitos or get a headache with the heater. I mentioned that to the staff and they said they had to follow a regulation to keep the heater on. Also breakfast time was tough, im not sure if there were 2 hotel guests attending the breakfasts, but it became a problem to fin seat. I was by myself and it was easier, but 3 or motr proplr had to wait longer in the already crowded area.

Nice hotel - friendly staff. I had a small room with queen bed. They let me leave my bag before check-in. Short 5 min walk to bus station (Plaza Roma).

The heat broke but they were very apologetic and provided a space heater.
