Fantastic location with its own dock for private taxis. Best breakfast, that was included in our rate. Also provided a free private taxi to Murano glass factory and gallery. We would stay there again!

Centrally located, a 4-minute walk to San Marco Square, this boutique canal has everything you are looking for in Venice. There is a bar and a small but sufficient outdoor area on the dock where you can relax with a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Excellent staff and service.

Special thanks to the staff, & Federico for the excellent service. The espresso martinis, & live music in the lobby bar. We enjoyed the prime location, watching the gondolas, go under the bridge at the doc of the hotel. Get a private boat transfer it’s 1,000 % worth it!

Had hotel arrange water taxi service from Venice Airport. Excellent communication, confirmation, and guidance along the way. Flawless transfer to hotel lobby, and beautiful boat ride into the heart of Venice, right under the Bridge of Sighs! Worth every penny and the ONLY way to go for more than 2 people imho. Hotel location is perfect, only 4 minute easy walk from St. Marks square. Easy access to restaurants and shops, and less than 10 minute walk to Rialto area. Room is elegantly decorated, very quiet and comfortable. Our room had a canal view, too! Super clean, had espresso machine and fridge. Elevator is available, note lobby has several two step areas so accessible if you can transfer and climb two steps. Staff was phenomenal, friendly, spoke English well. Ask about their tours, they are great deals! Breakfast was delicious, buffet style with hot options, as well as traditional European fare.

Excellent small hotel very close to San Marco. There was no lift access to our room on the second floor ; but the concierge staff kindly helped with the bags and it was very comfortable. The hotel has its own jetty and that makes water taxis to / from the airport very convenient .

Charming boutique hotel that is walkable to everything you’d like to see in Venice. They have their own boat entry, which was an amazing experience. Our view onto a canal and the Bridge of Sighs was spectacular! We enjoyed their breakfast every morning and had a lovely afternoon drink on their small dock. The front desk employees were very helpful. Our room and bathroom were quite small, but clean and adequate.

Very unique and lovely hotel. Elevator broken which made luggage transport to 4th floor challenging. Limited space for people to mingle; bar very small. Location good, however, when tide is high, water taxi can’t get to hotel and many steps over bridges and a bit of a walk while hauling luggage. Staff super helpful!

The hotel was well situated, had excellent facilities and was spotlessly clean. We were unable to fly home into Heathrow on the day we were due to check out, but the hotel were very helpful, offering us an upgraded room at a special rate to accommodate us until the following day when we had secured a flight. We will certainly return to Hotel Columbina.

We stayed for 3 nights at hotel Colombina. Pros: Walkable to every part of Venice, nice room, quiet. View was nice, could see the Bridge of Sighs. Reception was friendly. Cons: Breakfast was pretty bad. Limited selection and food was fresh. For example we ate Bread that was hard and stale. Lettuce leaves were wilting and not fresh. Yogurt was hard and dry with Granola that was mushy. Room cleanliness was not great. Rubbish that was on the floor from the previous occupants was still there until the last day that we left the room. It was obviously not cleaned. Hair on the basin, Hair on the bathtub from the housekeeping. Hair on the toilet floor was not cleaned and was still there throughout our stay. Coffee, shower amenities and water were not replenished throughout our stay.

Everyone who works here is very nice. I wasn’t wild about our room though. It smelled awful. It was in a separate tower from the main hotel and I’m not sure what’s happening with it but I suggest they clean up the piles of trash laying around the outside or put up barriers so guests don’t see it. The room smell was awful. We opened the instant coffee grounds to try and absorb the smell but it only semi helped for one day. I could have opened the shutters but there was a nasty tarp and trash right outside my window. It really needs to be addressed. I personally wouldn’t stay there again. The room itself was clean, the shower stall was so small though that a man over 250lbs would have a hard time fitting. Or woman I suppose. I’m small and I felt cramped. The staff is very helpful though! They helped get our private water taxi to the airport for a very early morning departure. My unhappiness is strictly with what I’ve stated here.

The hotel was very cute. The staff was very helpful. There rooms look very beautiful and luxurious. The only reason for one less star on cleanliness, is due to a odd smell in the restrooms occasionally, my guess due to the system in Venice but other than that it is a beautiful hotel.

Loved this hotel -room was amazing with a canal view and we could see the Bridge of Sighs’ from the balcony. Staff knowledgeable and friendly perfect central location around the corner from St Marks square . Highly recommend would definitely go back to stay again

Had a great time in Venice and enjoyed our stay at Colombina Hotel! The staff was amazing - friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was very nice, with a view overlooking the canal, and a very nice renovated bathroom (the bedroom furnishings are pretty dated, though). Wish I could rate this 4.5 stars rather than 4 - the only real downsides that we experienced during our stay were room temperature being quite warm (cold air didn't seem to ever flow in, only heat), and the terrible persistent mosquitos which prevented us from opening the windows for the cool air. One of the two windows had a screen on it, but it did not cover the entire window so the mosquitos always found a way in, and boy are they thirsty! We woke up to multiple new bites each day. Breakfast was pretty basic yet reliable, it included bacon, eggs, pastries, and simple beverages - no complaints there. The turnover staff was also great! Very nice location - about a 30 minute walk to the train station. We opted for the private water taxi to take us to/from the hotel - it is very expensive but worth it for the experience and overall ease (hop on, enjoy, hop off) over the packed and slow public boats.

Very nice marble floors and clean rooms, just make sure you get floor 2 or above. We were initially placed on floor 1 and our canal view was feet from tourists walking over the bridge at the same height. Staff were kind and nicely moved us higher.

Staff was very kind! If I ever come back I would definitely stay here again! if anyone is traveling here definitely recommend paying for the transport to and from the train station! Hauling our luggage across Venice was difficult! 10/10 recommend their transport service! Overall very nice stay and very kind staff.

The hotel was well situated, had excellent facilities and was spotlessly clean. We were unable to fly home into Heathrow on the day we were due to check out, but the hotel were very helpful, offering us an upgraded room at a special rate to accommodate us until the following day when we had secured a flight. We will certainly return to Hotel Columbina.

Had hotel arrange water taxi service from Venice Airport. Excellent communication, confirmation, and guidance along the way. Flawless transfer to hotel lobby, and beautiful boat ride into the heart of Venice, right under the Bridge of Sighs! Worth every penny and the ONLY way to go for more than 2 people imho. Hotel location is perfect, only 4 minute easy walk from St. Marks square. Easy access to restaurants and shops, and less than 10 minute walk to Rialto area. Room is elegantly decorated, very quiet and comfortable. Our room had a canal view, too! Super clean, had espresso machine and fridge. Great location, centrally located to walk to many highlights of Venice. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When back in Venice, this will be my go to hotel. Our room was absolutely beautiful, overlooked (1 floor off the canal) the canal and extremely quiet. Minutes walk to many restaurants, Rialto Bridge or St. Marks Square. Location is great in nice quite spot away from crowds but located close enough to major spots like St Marks (2) min walk and Rialto bridge maybe 10 minutes. The staff is absolutely amazing so kind and friendly from front desk to bar tenders to bell man and breakfast service they are truly wonderful.

This place is amazing. The location, the rooms, the staff and the food are all excellent. The front desk folks are very helpful especially Andrea who went above and beyond to make our experience in Venice nothing short of amazing. Joey was also very kind and was always willing to lend a hand. The breakfast was amazing - there were a lot of choices from fresh pastries, cereals, fruits, cheeses, meats and my favorite smoked salmon too and drinks are also plentiful. The ladies are very friendly and welcoming and was always offering us cappuccino, coffee and always asking if we needed anything. The location is perfect. It’s a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and we loved having a canal view! The area was safe and quiet at night but conveniently located with lots of dining and transportation options. The buffet breakfast was a nice addition.

This hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the bridge of sighs, St. Mark’s Square, shops, The Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Cathedral, restaurants, canals, and the vaporetto. Since the hotel is next to the canal, you can take the water taxi from the airport and get off right at the hotel lobby. If you prefer to be on a budget, you can still of course take the vaporetto (Alilaguna) from the airport and get off at San Marco station and walk to the hotel for a couple of minutes. So accessible! The hotel staff are friendly, accommodating, mindful, and helpful. The breakfast was more than sufficient. Food quality is very good, the fruits are fresh, the bread selection was great. The room was big, we got a patio with a city view, it had a balcony, sufficient closet space, the bathroom was surprisingly large enough for Europe (American hotel bathrooms tend to be bigger). No issues whatsoever with the amenities. The staff cleaned the room regularly, the sheets were fresh, the pillows appear clean and disinfected. We would stay at this property again! We had a wonderful and memorable time.

The hotel was beautiful and located in a great area to access many of the city's iconic attractions. I stayed at the Colombina Hotel for two nights. It was the perfect location for a first-time visit to Venice. Very close to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge but located in a quiet area that offers some peace from the crowds of tourists just a short distance away. Easy to access from the train station via vaporetto (water bus) and a short walk. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with the best bed and pillows I’ve experienced during my recent hotel visits. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially at check-in. My only very slight criticism is breakfast. It was included with my room but had it been an extra charge I probably wouldn’t have found it worth it. The food was adequate, but it is much cheaper and easier to just grab a quick coffee and pastry at any of the many cafes in Venice, especially one that is frequented by locals. All in all, however, I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Venice. A great value for the price, excellent location wonderful staff, and very nice rooms that made relaxing after long days exploring the city easy. That’s all you can ask for!

The property was great, the employees were always kind. The breakfast was fantastic & there was a great variety of options. Also the fresh cappuccinos were some of the best I had in the 2 weeks I spent in Italy! The only part that was a bit rough was the air conditioning. There was an air conditioner but the temperature cannot be changed & the highest temperature of the room was 79F/26C. I tried opening the windows, but got eaten alive by mosquitoes (it was mid April), then I stayed up to 5am killing mosquitos.. so if you don't mind a warmer room & keeping windows closed then it is a great stay. The room was always incredibly clean & we were 5-10min away from all the main attractions so it was very convenient to come by drop things off or take an hour rest & go back out.

We stayed for 3 nights at hotel Colombina. Pros: Walkable to every part of Venice, nice room, quiet. View was nice, could see the Bridge of Sighs. Reception was friendly. Cons: Breakfast was pretty bad. Limited selection and food was fresh. For example we ate Bread that was hard and stale. Lettuce leaves were wilting and not fresh. Yogurt was hard and dry with Granola that was mushy. Room cleanliness was not great. Rubbish that was on the floor from the previous occupants was still there until the last day that we left the room. It was obviously not cleaned. Hair on the basin, Hair on the bathtub from the housekeeping. Hair on the toilet floor was not cleaned and was still there throughout our stay. Coffee, shower amenities and water were not replenished throughout our stay.

Fabulous and picturesque location, beautifully traditional hotel. We were very well looked after with boat trips, taxis and advice from the reception staff - they were very professional, friendly and super helpful. Great place to stay, close to St Marks Sq and lots of attractions but quiet enough at night where it was also peaceful. Highly recommend.
