It’s a great location to come back to after you have spent the day touring Venice. The hotel is on an its own island with great amenities and away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, the hotel is 15 mins via water taxi provided by the hotel. It’s a great place for families.

Do not waste your money at this place. Lack of staff, hours to serve a simple lunch, no AC!! 4 restaurant but only one working, with less than 5 options on the menu. I couldn’t believe it is a Kempinski brand. It cost a fortune for them not to have plenty staff to work for.

Hotel was very under staffed and consequently the service was poor. The staff that were working were very helpful but completely over worked. The pool bar closed at 4pm, just when you need a drink after a long day sight seeing. Pool bar didn't serve food or cocktails. The hotel had no room service. The hotel is beautiful but had we known the hotel was so under staffed and with limited facilities we would have stayed in another hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and best described as old world luxury! High ceilings with crystal chandeliers, wide hallways, a grand staircase all located on a private island. The grounds are tranquil with lots of greenery and artwork! The views are gorgeous. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The complimentary boat shuttle to San Marco dock is a great feature. The staff is excellent, catering to your every need. Our visit was wonderful and we would love to return!

Amazing resort and location. very easy to get back and forth to Venice and it is about 5 minute shuttle away plus you get a full resort to enjoy. with kids this really helps give them a place to relax and burn off some energy in between sightseeing.

Nydelig øy men der stopper det.. Relativt slitent hotel, forferdelig service og dårlig mat 4 stjerner for hotell/ beliggenhet mens mat og service er på 2 stjernerst nivå. Prisene de tar for mat og drikke er over det jeg erfarte ved andre 5 stjerners hotell i Venezia. De kompenserte noe ved oppgjør - men langt fra nok til at det på noen måte var verdt det. Anbefales IKKE. Finn heller et hyggelig hotell på Lido dersom man ønsker muligheten til å trekke seg tilbake evt et av de hyggeligere 5 stjerners hotellene i sentrum

The staff, when we were there, was not very welcoming. Some of them were polite, but a lot of them were grumpy. The lunch in the pool bar is not very good and the breakfast is mediocre. The dinner location is fantastic and the food is nice. The wine was fantastic. Also, the rooms does not have separate air conditioning. They are on a central system. We adjusted the room for 20 degrees Celsius, but the temperature was maybe at 24 degrees. Tried to adjust it to 17, 15 and then finally 10 degrees, but nothing happened. The location is fantastic and the concierge does a very good job. All in all a good stay, but could have been better.

Un lieu magnifique mais un service déplorable. Quel dommage qu’une telle enseigne et un tel lieu ne soient pas mis en valeur par leurs employés. Après une 1ere soirée que nous avions décidé de passer dans cet avre de paix nous ne sommes ensuite rentré à l’hôtel que pour y dormir tant le service était décevant. 1er soir, impossible de boire un verre à la piscine à 6.30pm donc direction le bar où il a fallu 50 min pour recevoir deux boissons et 1h40 pour un planche de melon avec du jambon ! Puis au Buddha restaurant à 9.15pm deux entrées n’était plus disponible et un plat principal également. Le vin qui nous a été apporté n’était pas celui commandé etc… bref une expérience qui s’est poursuivi au petit déjeuner avec une attente de 10 min pour avoir une table puis que le personnel était débordé et n’arrivait pas à nettoyer les tables. Il est excrément décevant pour un hotel comme celui ci facturant des chambres à près de EUR1000 dans notre cas de ne pas considérer un meilleur service. Un lieu magnifique mais une expérience déplorable - pour ce rapport qualité prix je recommande CIPRIANI.

Overall the team are friendly and helpful but there were moments during our stay that no guest should be experiencing. One morning on our return to our room after breakfast with the privacy sign on the door, I was falling back to sleep and my husband was changing to go down to the pool when the door bell went. Before I could even get to answer the door, a guest relations team member came through the door despite the privacy sign being on, and was about to show two people around our room which firstly was occupied by us and secondly had the privacy sign on which is completely unacceptable. I complained about this to the reception team who were very apologetic and arranged a bottle of wine to our room with a personal note to apologise. Unfortunately this was not the only occasion, sadly the very next day on our checkout day we experienced a similar case with the housekeeping team, who were clearly keen to turn our room around and have us out. Despite a 12:00 checkout, she asked us at 09:00 if she could start on our room, and again at 11:00 whilst letting herself in before we even had chance to even answer the door bell. She wanted to know what time we were checking out which left us feeling rushed and almost chased out of the hotel. These are experiences you should not be experiencing in any hotel and certainly not at this hotel. It is a real pity as this was a return visit and these experiences to quote the hotel team “recalibrate” how you feel about your stay and experience.

What a beautiful hotel with an outstanding setting. All staff were friendly helpful and efficient. Breakfast first class plenty of choice. Ate at restaurant on our wedding anniversary and not disappointed food was delicious and service dry good.
